I just checked out the press release and Lamborghini actually gave the Italian Police 2 Gallardo's!!

The Gallardo Polizia is an actual on the job police car Hybrid. The LP560 replaces the Gallardo that they had before and it had done almost 90,000 miles!! It's stopped many people, saved many lives as it's got an organ transplant facility in the front and also works well in getting people to notice the polizia and their messages. BTW I heard that the squad in Police Interceptors (five show) were supposedly getting Evo X's to replace the old Evo VIII/IX and Impreza's. Sweeeettt, especially like the mention of Forza. And yeah there was a rumour of the Christmas demo said back in August I think, whether it still goes ahead though is still to be seen.

CD looks pretty clean. I believe you only get a 90 day warranty with software but if the game disc is fairly clean buy a copy from EBGames or rent from somewhere then take yours back at a busy time like just before Christmas and they'll just want to get you sorted and out the door rather than spend ages trying to sort it out as being genuine. :D

I'd expect them to learn from their mistakes and I think the 2010 hinted at release could signify that Atari want the devs to take their time with the game, fix the issues that plagued the first on release, fix the issues the community has been most vocal about and also look around and see what the community are asking for and what other games have done since TDU's release. I also think they should definitely think about having some kind of community sort of like Rockstar's Social Club; Test Drive Live anyone? :lol: BTW bcrt welcome to TDUcentral, please make sure all ducks are in their respective containers. Guys I said 5000 posts, for what you guys are on you're doing well. :)

Rep power is worked out by many factors with the main one being reputation received, however post count, longevity, activity etc also helps. BUT don't think a high postcount will work in your favour as I have said elsewhere postcount means nothing apart from the fact you have a lot of posts. Your reputation and rep power shows to other members how good or bad a member you are. Example #1: User with 5000 posts and only been registered about 6 months but only 8 rep power and labelled as 'is making his way up the pack' or 'causing a stir' shows that member is a spammer and not very helpful. Example #2: User with 500 posts and only been registered about 6 months but rep power above 10 shows this user is highly regarded by the community and provides good info and probably help. These people are usually assets of the community! :D The above are just approximations and haven't been strictly thought out but it should give you some sort of idea of what to look for in regards to members and their participation and respect from the community.

I thought they were both petrol? It's the V12 twin turbo Diesel that was different and from what I heard they couldn't stop it from overheating.
