Simple fact of the matter is this is a pure bred racing game, nothing else and thank god for that!

Anyone been watching these races? I watched the first part before the Tour de France came on and that 2nd race was amazing and I was going to give you guys a headsup about it here but I didn't want to miss any of it plus I was lying in my bed. So here's a definite calls to arms to wakeup, switch on your TV and watch the last race of the day, should be a good one and the Seat's have been dominating thus far.

Aquila in response to your post the first thing I think you should note is nobody is comparing this game to GRID in the drifting aspects as thankfully this game is about the racing and will be the game most people wanted GRID to be, ie racing series' from around the world with good accurate physics and close contended and above all fair racing. GRID has went to an arcade side moreso than ever so to have GTR for 360 is huge to many people and tbh I can't wait as this is going to be all about the racing, something even Forza couldn't do properly.

I think if they improve the controls of the character in that it's more smooth and not give into the FPS muppets asking for the left and right stick to control the character as well as give some more weight to the cars and tone up some of the glitches (especially clipping), then they will get more gamers back.

I think with Race Pro coming to the 360 around Christmas that TDU2 is definitely a 2009, sure they could both go head to head with each other but I'm personally thinking TDU2 September 2009. :D Trailer shown at E3 ....maybe. :nuts:

If you weren't sure about this game but still thought it looked a decent buy but not £40's worth then Gamestation' sale has it for £25!! http://www.gamestation.co.uk/product.asp?id=101271498470540 This game is seriously underrated, don't let a bunch of Halo kiddies scare you from trying it yourself, the controls do take getting used to but if you like your Survival then what's £25 for a new game, even less if you trade in something towards it. If you're a FPS junkee though, STAY AWAY! :D

All I can say is that guy needs to get himself a life or an afterlife, whichever he would prefer. I don't get why these serious as hell religious nuts are just completely weird, strange and have no sense of reality or how to live a life. I mean the things he says about GTA being atheist is complete crap, there's a church where an important part of the story happens. Niko (not Nick) talks about how he hated and saw things during the war he would not wish to see again. The game doesn't exactly force you do things if you don't want to, hence the choices in the game. Religious idiots like this always annoy the hell out of me, I have my beliefs about God and all that but I don't let it run my life or nothing. Free will is - pardon the expression - a god given right and thus anyone can choose to believe what they want how they want, if at the end we're all wrong then so be it but don't let it dictate your way of life or anybody else's. The site will be online when I stop thinking of stuff and security measures that don't really need to be added but I do anyway. I make so much extra work for myself it's crazy. Personally I don't think anyone can ever tell the Veyron to sit down and say they have beat it unless they do exactly as the Veyron does, and that is allow anyone to take it up to those high speeds and do so with hardly any palaver or any actual babying needing of the engine after every run. They needed a Professional Racer to take the SSC Ultimate Aero whatever to it's speed and the 9ff like all 9ff's would probably kill most people who can drive a car but the Veyron, well James May managed it and did it look like a lot for the car to do, no chance. Nothing will beat the Veyron until they actually equal it. There may be cars faster than it, but there's nothing that beats it. :D

Don't knock a Deep Fried Mars Bar until you try it, it's very nice but the melted nougat does stick to your gums somewhat.

dual backup your existing profile and then setup a new gamespy account and try connecting to the server with this profile, if it allows you then it sounds like your old profile which is associated by key is not being allowed to be used as the keys that are assigned are different. If this doesn't work try disabling your Antivirus and Firewall just for a a minute or so and see if that allows you a connection as it could be these that are stopping you.

192.168.1.1 is a universal IP just like 192.168.100.1, there is no harm in that IP being shown.

Every country has it's bad eggs, I hate it when people from the US jump on people not from the US and how a lot of British people jump on Americans and it all kicks off and tbh if you want to see this happening all the time just jump onto GTA IV. However there is an easy way to shut these people up especially the little immature and scarily sometimes the mature Americans who go on about why are we playing an American console blah blah, in GTA IV's case I always mention that Rockstar North are in fact Scottish/British and I found something out in the airport actually, look at the private jets parked up and note they alternate between Scottish and Irish flags, that was sweet to see. Also remember if it wasn't for the brits (moreso Scots) there would be no television, phone lines and hell even the internet, yes the internet started as a US military network or something but it was a Brit - Tim Berners Lee - who created HTML and essentially gave birth to the internet we all know today as far as I know. Everyone has to admit though, every country can be hateful to another and try and start trouble but because of the amount of those from the United States, they will always get the short end of the stick.

I'm not really a fan of tennis but that was one hell of ana amazing final, probably one of the best ever and one that will be talked about for many years to come. Even if you dislike tennis you would enjoy watching that as it was 2 players right at the top of their game playing amazingly and providing much entertainment especially if you're a neutral. Great final and it was fun to watch. (of course I watched TG but I switched over at the Star part)
