  1. Noticed some image paths were pointing to the wrong place meaning they weren't showing plus the header has changed now to whoever wins the Picture of the Week competition in the PC section. Note you may need to force a refresh (CTRL + F5) to see these new additions.
  2. Sorry to see you go buddy but I have a niggling feeling you will return to TDU in the future as other games seem very limited compared to it, I love Forza 2 but man it got boring quick. I respect the fact you're leaving to try new things out though, variety is good and so is change and of course we'll be here if and when you come back to Hawaii. Hope you do stick around, there's more to do here than just discuss TDU. lol
  3. Happy Birthday buddy!! Looks you're having one hell of a 16th, have a good one and I'm sure we'll see you around on the island very soon.
  4. Myself personally; * The reflections on the front of a Gallardo when in bonnet/hood view, other cars including players, road markings etc are shown very clearly. You can even see the headlights of cars coming towards you. * Driving in a group with road rules and looking behind you and seeing a sight that could easily be out of the Gumball. * Driving through the middle of traffic in a car or bike with only inches to spare at crazy speeds. * Actual dials for the cars/bikes in all views as well as an actual rear view plus amazingly detailed interiors and engines (usually). * While in convertibles, being able to look up at an overhead plane or just look up while driving, very surreal experience when on a long stretch of road and all you see is trees and road signs. * Being blinded by the sunlight when looking behind you then in front again or like myself and baldy had last night, going along a long stretch of road and the sunlight acting almost like a strobelight due to be constantly hidden and reappearing by trees. * The driver views on bikes, amazing sense of speed. * The ability to drive anywhere when you want. There's more I'm sure but these are the main things for me and always make me smile especially. +rep on the thread idea !
  5. Very nice indeed mate, I like the colours and the typography you've used. Good eye-catching main picture and headline as well as some nice little glimpse shots for the other features.
  6. Nope, I hate Halo, doesn't interest me at all, all that fantasy shoot em up crap bores me. Plus I've seen the ending and know what happens right at the end of Halo 3 so I don't have to go near it thankfully.
  7. Yep the SSC did it, 257mph and 254mph runs to give a 255mph top speed thus a new record. Typical US design though, no originality and take from everyone else though massive kudos on the speed. Makes me wonder if Bugatti will let the Veyron run to 257 which it has been said to be able to do but limited to 253mph due to the tyres.
  8. Marc for reference you only need the part after 'v=' mate.
  9. This has been known for a while but was officially confirmed this morning. Colin McRae and his 5 year old son Johnny-Gavin McRae were killed in a helicopter crash near to McRae's home. Two other people were killed, one was a close friend of McRae and the other tragically was his own 6 year old son. Four people were killed in the crash and the families have been notified. Many friends and fans have already expressed their condolences to what truly was a Rally and Motorsport Legend. RIP Colin McRae, you done Scotland and Britain proud!! Subaru World Rally Team managing director, Richard Taylor: "All of us at the Subaru World Rally Team are shocked and upset by the tragic news of Colin McRae's death, which was announced on Sunday. Colin was Subaru's first World Champion and a man who almost single-handedly brought the sport of rallying to the attention of millions around the world. He was an inspiration to motorsport fans and remained a close friend to many of us in the team. At this terribly sad time our thoughts are with Alison and the rest of Colin's family."
  10. Alrighty then, just had a mess around with this and it's a cache issue, when you click to Log Out the page reloads itself but the cache keeps the top section as it was. You can see this in effect by refreshing the page once logged out, notice the link disappears due to the refresh? I'll see what I can do about it though.
  11. Ah I know what that is, I'll fix it later. Thanks for the headsup!
  12. Sounds like a corrupt cookie or session, try clearing your cookies and then logging back in, then try to log out then close the browser. Does this solve it?
  13. Marc no worries there mate, I'm paying for 2 accounts which is costing me a bomb but it's giving about 5-6TB a month! Yes that's terabit. Once the videos come back though that's when I'll panic and limit the forum between the hours of 9-5. lol
  14. That A4 is hell of a clean and I don't mean in the soap n' water sense either. The kit, the wheels everything just flows smoothly together and looks right. I don't know if it was intentional but nice work getting your Ibiza into the reflection and the mirror as well as I see your mates Cordoba (think that's it) and the red Coupe. Quite a collection not to mention the obligatory girls also, a smart setup indeed! lol
  15. nige unfortunately it still looks as mundane as a gray shirt imo, typical Saab styling, in fact I think they could be 2nd behind Porsche actually as the Worlds Laziest Designers, it looks alright but a Black on Black BMW 335i, or a new Evo X would be my choice for the money.
  16. This is a testament to European design and the fun that creative freedom gives you especially if the only criteria is use the LP640 as a base and make it look like a fighter jet. Interior is stunning with all the carbon fiber and the jet cockpit replica HUD and such. Wheels as always are unbelievable, noone can touch Lamborghini in this department and the rear just screams exclusive. To own a piece of history like this would be amazing, I am seriously envious of the owners and loving the fact Audi will still allow Lamborghini control over the heritage of the Raging Bull in that it's named after a Bull that killed a famous matador (or something like that). Fear, Passion and Design is what this car says to me, my only crit would be the still boring steering wheel, they need to get more sport oriented with that thing, look at your old friend Horatio Pagani in how to do that! Side profile is more Diablo than Murcielago which I really like!
  17. Pherelas is talking about drastic slowdown, I had it too but my ISP was going up and down like a yoyo. I have however noticed Internet Explorer is crazy slow in displaying the content and rendering the forum whereas Firefox has no issues at all as does Opera. Haha ironically my ISP is going up and down like yoyo this morning. Great!
  18. Bumping this due to the influx of new members, just keen to know where people are coming from is all. Thanks!
  19. It's random but yeah it happens when you switch from looking behind you to the front while in the incar view and it was the Countach I was in.
  20. Yo dawesta get your ass over to http://forums.eu.atari.com and signup and you can request a McLaren F1 LM, Pagani Zonda Roadster, Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe or Spyker Spyder. These cars are exclusive only they can't be acquired any other way anymore!!
  21. Hey there dawesta welcome to the board and good to see you're now online with the game as that is where it really shines. Not to mention there's a good few of us who are usually online driving around. Make sure to add your Xbox Live gamertag to your profile also, that way people can find you online and maybe even add you as a friend. To do this goto 'User CP > Edit Profile' and enter your gamertag in the space at the bottom. :welcome:
