Re: [REQUEST] Info on Downtime This hosting package I have is good for the video downloads but I don't think their database servers are that good. I will be monitoring the situation and also will be contacting them to see if there is an issue with anything server side, MySQL servers can be seriously affected with mailing lists or spam bots. I am going to contact another host and see what kind of deal I can get out of them also, I have also contacted Google Adsense to see if I can maybe generate some income so that the boards pay for themselves and allow us to do competitions with prizes and the like. Know this though, there will never be any obtrusive pop-up ads on this board for our members. I'd sell my kidney before that had to happen. lol

Yeah I never really made sense in my post, I know it's Barabus but have seen many people call it the Brabus but Brabus is still a brand I would love to see in TDU.

Yep heard of that late last year (from here), kept hearing it being referred to as the Brabus TKR though that's another company I would like to see in TDU, 227mph Brabus Rocket (CLS) anyone?

Fair point and welcome to the board, what the people who are going on about this are mainly annoyed at is; the lack of communication and the non-fulfilment of promised features and addons that are to some key points for the purchase of this game. For example monthly DLC, when you see this you think there's new cars coming monthly which adds more longevity to the game. You also have the players who use TDU to just chill with friends and just want to try something new and new content keeps them well chuffed. I think it's all mainly to do with the typical view that all multiplayer online games now have added features and content within a few months of release and if the game stays the same for a prolonged period of time then it loses it's charm but as soon as something new even as simple as car or a map is released, more players jump back on and even more games are sold because of friends' word of mouth and also it shows the developer/publisher want to please it's customers by sustaining their game purchase for as long as possible whereas before people would play, trade and be onto another game within a few months. It's just the way gaming has progressed as well as the impatience of the new generation of gamers who expect and even sometimes demand it.

The Diners are where you can race and participate in user created challenges. All the challenges listed in the Diner are by online players who have created the challenge via the Editor (Start > Editor). They then do a test run, choose the vehicle category, penalties and then set an entry fee and prize. All participants pay the entry fee and try to win the challenge, if they win they get the full prize and the user who created the challenge gets 10% of the prize so say 200,000 prize user gets 20,000. And that's essentially it.

Had a few requests for this via PM so we have added Trade sub-forums to the Xbox 360 and PC sections, not sure if the PS2/PSP supports this so holding off on them just now but if they turn out to have it also then they will also receive the same in the near future. Thanks.

One car you have always wanted, your ultimate dream car, what would it be ? I need to think about this myself as I have a few and need to narrow it down but remember one car only !
