Hey there folks, thanks to the loooooovely people at Namco Bandai Partners it is with great excitement that we at TDUCk can announce a PC Beta code giveaway for this coming Saturday, the 23rd October 2010 Friday 29th October to Monday 1st November. Well there are a few ways and they are easy so don't worry you can be a dumb as the staff here and still get your beaks on one. :D Note: These are codes for the PC Beta Alright so here's how it works; there are a few ways to win a code: An image will be posted here of TDUCk on his holidays, post the answer to where he has been and you will be sent a code via the Private Message system on here via one of the staff or an honorary staff member. Check out the new TDUC twitter where only important items and random mutterings from us will be posted. Codes will periodically be posted on here so make sure you keep a keen eye on this. The TDU Central Facebook, just like above codes will be posted on here so make sure to follow us or just lurk, either way is fine. Instructions To participate in the Beta you will need to be registered on the Official TDU2 Site and Community forums. You can do so by visiting this link: https://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/user/register Follow the instructions and make sure you put in a valid email and take note of your username and display name etc. Next you will have to enter your Beta key in order to be able to gain access to the Beta forums. Do this by following this link and then entering in your key: http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com/enter_key Once you have done the above and followed the Beta info section, click back to the main page http://www.testdriveunlimited2.com and you will see the Beta navigation option, click this and you will be able to access the Beta forums. TDU Central Team PS: A Beta is not the game, it is a small part of the game that requires testing and reporting back to the developers about what bugs, glitches or problems you may have experienced. Taking part in the Beta means you want to help make TDU 2 the best game it can be and you can only do this by testing and not only playing. Playing this game isn't an option as you don't get to keep your progress or anything you have unlocked for the final game. You may also find having to restart the game or losing your progress happens and these are the things Betas are designed to find and then fix. Cheers guys, was playing pool for 2 hours as my mates were up for some on their lunch breaks which was cool. Not sure how going back to their work an hour late and smelling of beer is going to work for them though. Nothing planned for tonight but tomorrow or Saturday who knows.

Yeah there's a demo you can play and tbh it could be good and would be a right target for TDU2 to aim for in it's police pursuits. Who knows?!

I don't believe they get as much as the actual testers as they are mainly for stress testing.

It will be a raffle type thing I think, I don't think every subscriber or member will get a code for the Beta.

You can't cure stupid.

In the old NFS you couldn't take a corner at 200mph and sometimes part of the fun with the previous NFS was aiming for the highest speed without the awful addition of nitrous. I really hope there is an option to disable that stuff as it just gets used stupidly in games. I'm not saying I want realism and such but if it's a true HP title then it will be all about the thrill of the chase, the ruthlessness of the cops and of course the fact that you must have your wits about you and listen to the radio. None of this sixth sense crap where you see things ahead of you way before you should and what not. Thankfully there's a demo so I should be able to garner what they game feels like for myself before even contemplating buying it.

This was posted yesterday and missed by a lot of people it appears except for a certain few of course who eat sleep and pee TDU2. :cheeky: Anyway free or premium members of FilePlanet have a chance of getting into the Beta and helping better the game before it's eventual 2013 release. :oook:
