  1. Does the server accept tuning the F40 up to level 3? Because that is a change in performance not present in the original game... Maybe it opens a window for modded performance for addon cars? :)
  2. Either would be nice since Atari hasn't been supporting this game the way they should for a long time (as seen by the leaderboards) but the second would be better since we would be able to develop our own anti-cheat measures for those who race competitively.
  3. That sucks... Maybe one day it will be possible to add completely new cars with new data, but I'd guess there's still a long way to go. Actually my only interest in editing original cars would be to improve top speed of German cars which use limiters (because TDU treats them as aero speed limit instead of electronic) and fix broken upgrade stages like Corvette lvl 3. Do they even exist?
  4. Well Djey that's fantastic! I really appreciate your work since TDU is my favourite racing game for PC. The only missing thing would be performance editing which could be halted because of the cheating but there's so many people with trainers that I don't think Atari would bother with changing speed of cars through editing of game files... BTW is this an entirely new vehicle with SSR data or an SSR replacement?
  5. That's a major breakthrough!!! I hope in the near future it's possible to change dealership at which the cars are sold (so that you can move them around keeping the performance of the car you want to replace). In the PC version there are some dealers with empty spaces.
  6. This reminds me of Audi A3 sound from NFSMW, but it's a nice sound.
  7. In NFS it's better to use low gears (1st and 2nd) and neutral to record sounds but in neutral you can't rev fully without reaching the limiter.
  8. It has poor transitions from mid to high but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it, sounds are hard to do but very rewarding. :)
  9. Bugatti sound from NFS is very bad, bland sound. EA used that for like 90% of the high performance cars in the game. Mazda 3 is a waste.
  10. This sound is good for Gallardo, but not Murciélago. You should record samples from stock Murciélago in NFSPS/UC, those are actual V12 sound. ;)
  11. They do that with trainers, mate. :) I think it's not possible right now but I'd love to be able to do this... Besides, Atari doesn't seem too keen on banning people who modify files.
  12. I reported him at Atari USA forums. @RamseyOfficial: Aren't you GT5 from NFSCars? Small world, haha! :D
  13. F40 sound is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, but Audi R8 needs higher pitch.
  14. Saleeo's a well-known thief in the NFS community. Thread: http://www.nfscars.net/forum/showthread.php?t=19813. The Cadillac Sixteen model is probably the one made by viktording for NFSHS, available here: http://www.nfscars.net/file/view/highstakes/5557.aspx. Viktor also made a higher-poly version for World Racing 2 IIRC. This guy is scamming you all... Don't believe him.
  15. Of course he doesn't like forums... That's because he's a well-known thief in the NFS community. 16. Well... you can "convert" the sounds from Carbon (and MW, and PS, and UC, and anything else for that matter) to TDU, just record steady samples from different RPM ranges with Fraps. I did quite a few of them for the old NFS High Stakes which uses the same BNK system for sounds.
