  1. Very weak car list. It doesn't add anything in comparison with the first TDU and there's too many of the same cars like a dozen Veyrons, one hundred Audis, a thousand Ferraris. I would be fine with that if they didn't sacrifice other cars like Corvette (the new ones), Lamborghini and Maserati, which were in the first game and could've been added to the list easily. I dare say the car list of the first TDU was better for its time, and with all the DLCs it trounces this lame excuse for a list Atari and Eden came up with. I was having high hopes for this one, but now it seems I won't even try a demo. I'm very disappointed and underwhelmed.
  2. This car is absolutely beautiful. No wonder you got feverish while doing it. :)
  3. Excellent car. You don't rest, that's a good thing. I have a question: do you intend to release a Murciélago LP640 Roadster based on the new LP640 from Shift you converted? That would be very nice to have.
  4. I can't do anything other than congratulate the people behind this mod. This is a real breakthrough in TDU modding. My sincere thanks for this awesome bike!
  5. It needs way higher pitch, right now it has the same pitch as an American V8.
  6. This car is one of the most memorable in the world. I'm not a hardcore fan of it but this is a car that should be in everyone's game. Fabulous work. :)
  7. Of course I am! Not many Zpectres on the web I suppose.

    1. Oh no, TomWin only converts to WR2.

      1. You probably haven't driven an AWD Saleen S7 in your so-called "tests"...
      2. I rarely get challenged to duels by people with common sense anyways. However, with the new patch and Modding Tools (which not everyone has to know about) you can drive a stage 3 Ferrari F40 and an AWD Saleen S7 which IMO fall into the same category as physics-modded cars. Thing is, when we find a problem we tend to stop right at it instead of finding an ingenious workaround, which leads to banning everything. That's not healthy because with limited possibilities you'll invariably reduce interest in the game. For example, in GRID up to patch 1.2 you were allowed to use eBay cars online and those cars had an advantage over the regular ones. People found a way to edit the game files so that they could have super eBay cars. As a result Codemasters banned eBay cars from online play, without considering the fact they were the ones who included the eBay cars as an original feature of the game in the first place, a feature that rewarded the players who looked for them. And, despite the banning of eBay cars, people can still cheat with trainers and memory editors. The main problem with banning physics editing is that people have already found a way to do it and it will be available to anyone who search for it. In the end, it penalises fair players who aren't aware of and/or don't know where to find these underground mods. However, I acknowledge that competitive online play may be at a serious risk if everyone has a different database file. This doesn't mean we have to reach a full stop on this matter!!! IMO it would be better if we could reach a middleterm. How we could do it is, however, a different discussion.
      3. Who cares about cheating when the leaderboards are cluttered with cheaters and Atari doesn't give a rat's ass about the game? Sorry for sounding aggressive but that's my take on this.
      4. Are you really going to do this? It's no easy task to convert to TDU from what I've heard and read. I think you should talk to Venom yourself since you're the one interested in the car and you're also a member at NFSCars. ;) Or you could talk to TomWin at [TX]Pro website.

        1. TomWin converted it to WR2 but it would be necessary to ask Icekid himself too. Venom knows him so that's a good start. :)

          1. IMO it shouldn't replace the Tamburini, its performance is too fast for this Gixxer. Excellent model BTW.
          2. You talk too much for someone who hasn't delivered anything in a long time... Sorry. :( If anyone is interested they could always contact Icekid for his Nazca model.
          3. You're really very skilled at this, I don't have words to describe how good this car actually is! :D
          4. This car is just too good. +rep
          5. This means the model is NOT from Carbon, but from Most Wanted. Carbon had doors separate from body for all cars. If you want the model from Carbon I can send it to you with all the original parts and materials.
          6. You should've picked ProStreet model, way better. But then again the lights are not so detailed.
          7. ^that, and be sure to download only the latest version with the important fixes for IK/Camera swapping to prevent further corruption of files.
          8. I think that for many WR2 cars the locking mechanism is a bit redundant because you might as well take the model from somewhere else (like the game they originally came from), it's the same model just with different materials, names, etc. There are many cars in WR2 converted from NFS and TDU which are just straight conversions. In fact I'd not even touch WR2 models because they're not in separate parts and this makes it way harder to convert to other games. A stolen model might end up in the likes of Turbosquid but only people without a clue would fall for the scam. But the password system is still there to protect some other cars which have to be protected (since they're not available anywhere else) like the R8 V10 you converted with TomWin's permission. More worrying is mod theft within the community IMO. It takes a lot of skill to convert to those new games and seeing some random dumbass claim someone else's work as his is a little bit disgusting. I don't know how to convert cars to TDU but I imagine it's pretty hard with all the features and restrictions.
          9. Yet we all rip stuff from all games left, right and center...
          10. Installed it manually. Everything works! I was having a "critical error" with the installer.
