Hi guys, Yes its a megga bargain, I have been Beta testing the Windows 7 for a few months now and Microsoft have offered me the same deal, home for £45 and pro for £90... Now as with all beta testing on any software there are bugs and there was 3 that I got as a constant. 1, Random restarts... 2, Game crashing, restarting or just refusing to start at all. 3, More Blue screens of death for a number of different reasons. I wrote to Microsoft and have told them of all the probs and they take all feedback from all beta testers and work at it thats why this will be the best OS since XP... I totally refuse to put Vista on my system as its the worst OS ever, now thats my opinion but I know that it is shared with a number of Computer outlets and Computer Parts shops. For those of you that have Vista and it works for you, if your happy good thats your choice. But it is hungry on Mem and other requirments of your system. If vista owners upgrade they will not notice that much change as regards the OS visually. If you are on XP Pro like me then you will love the new OS system. Like I said I had a couple of probs that made it hard for me to run my system optimally. All my games crashed but I put that down to the Graphics card I have at the moment, 7900GTX, I am putting in at the end of the month a Asus Geforce GTX260 216 core and that will make a huge difference. excuse the poor spelling, I am a bit DIXLOXIKKKKK... Haha why do they make that word so hard to spell?

Yes Angelina that is another way of doing it... It sounds like the graphics are set too high!!! I had the same thing with Terminator Salvation the other day, I installed it but could not see a thing but I went into options and turned down the Resolution to 1024x768 and it works fine, My card is a 7900GTX but at the end of the month woohoo I cant wait for my birthday I have got a Asus Geforce GTX 260 216 core.... All my stuff will be at max res.... I have a HP w2207 monitor that runs at 1680 res, but my card is rubbish...and couldnt cope bless it. So in a nutshell I would say ya graphics are too high for the game to show on the monitor... let us know if this helps.

Well if this is the case and work is indeed going ahead with TDU2 or whatever they decide to call it, I am very optimystic that next year or maybe Xmas this yr we will see what we have all been waiting for, for so long now... I know that whatever they throw at us we will accept with open arms as we are all so desperate to get our hands on just a demo let along the game itself. The graphics sound like they are going to be amazing and the specs Im sure we will have no problems getting our systems up to scratch, I know mine will handle anything thrown at it LOL... Getting my EVGA Geforce GTX 260 Core 216 next month, I cant wait woohoo.. Im sorry to argue with you zi3m but Atari were never on the list nor Eden games... ever since E3 listings were anounced we have been watching the listings to see it there is any showing from Eden or Atari but nothing.... Check back on the posts that we all have been making on here in relation to TDU2 and any news.

What if there was not another garage for 50 miles and you was on the red... you would have to wait then? what if you went past the garage then looked at ya fuel guage 5 miles down the road...very interesting...do I have enough to get back to that garage or should I push on slower?:confused:

I think that if we had to pay for the petrol then we would not go around wasting cash on all the cars we liked if they ran on the same fuel ration as the real thing... i.e. a VW Golf R32 would not use the same amount of Juice as an Enzo in the round the Island Challenge!!! And if you had to stop for petrol I wonder how that would affect the times and the game? well I would love that in the game Paying for patrol to fill up, instead of a never-ending tank???

Hello its me LOL, I would like to join someones Club on-line and be able to do/go on a cruise old american muscle or ferrari's you know the type of thing, anyhow if you gotta club that people actually turn up for stuff send me a PM with the name of the club and an invite on-line in tdu and I will be there... I am in the UK so I will be going By UK clock, if you post 20.00hrs then I will be there at 20.00hrs UK time hope this is ok. I am dedicated to this, love to race others on-line and have restarted so many times.... This week I restarted on Tuesday (today Thurs) and I have done 799 miles got 2.3 mil in the bank I own 2 houses, 3 Ferrarie's. 1 FordGT40, 1 Audi A3, 1 Nissan 350Z Nismo, so as you see I dont hang about. OK OK OK this is simple read and do everything as I say OK........... 1. Uninstall everything about TDU that includes saved games as you have to restart ya profile. 2. Install TDU and when asked for gamespy ID: enter your Nickname, E-mail and PW. 3. Enter the serial of the TDU game if you have the 1.44 like I have it dont matter put the original key in. 4. You will be asked to update, dont if you have purcheased the Megapack. 5. Install megapack and enter the Key 6. restart your system. 7. click on you game and start a fresh profile game....... Hope this works for ya.... Rememebr where ya got this info from........... JUDASNEON

I have solved the problem myself, without help from TDU-C or Atari.... took 2 weeks but worth it even though I have to restart my profile.

Ok I have been in the chat room and I have been told that the TDU Servers are up and running. I have not been able to connect (PC). when in the house it says TDU Servers Unavaiable, I can see the AI drivers but they are always there. I have never had problems before. I have just restarted my profile as my last got corrupted in some way? I do not have any problems with any other games that I play on-line. If anyone can help maybe the type of settings that I need to do in TDU? my firewall allows TDU and my anti Virus is AVG and that is ok.:cry:

Not sure if you are still looking at these post's because of the date? I am on a PC and I can get on in single player but not online, as it says tdu servers unavailable..... been like this a while now

Does anyone know if Hamachi can be used for TDU, if so how do you set it up. Because I know that TDU looks for the TDU servers that are down most of the time, and me and my step son want to race against each other. or the other option is a LAN, joining the 2 computers together..... any help accepted with thanks regards Jude

I done this the other week so I formatted my system as it was getting clogged up and stuff. reinstalled the game and now I really have restarted the game.... I do have a saved game profile but it is corrupted and wont load!!! my wife has a profile and hers loads so I think its the saved game profile thats another reason for the restart. Anyway what Im saying is ya lost it unless ya backed it up and ya gotta drive all them miles and races again Woohoo what fun
