  1. I commented on your thread :) The thread's went over 1000 views and 100 posts :D
  2. Nice pics! Especially the ones with the supercars at the beach.
  3. Oh, alright. Back on topic now.
  4. Thanks! Haven't seen you around in a while, have you been gone or just hiding?
  5. If you've been paying attention to the PotW week thread, you've noticed that I decided not to enter. Just didn't feel like it this time around. Sorry for not posting pictures so long, I've been busy and I've played some other games. Anyways, I've got pictures and I've decided on my favourite car in TDU. No lap time though, I decided without them. So, which car did I pick? Is it the Murcielago Roadster? http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301175010.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301175317.jpg Or the Ford GT? http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301172357.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301172902.jpg It was....... The Ford GT. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301194052.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301194134.jpg Why? Well, first off, I think it's slightly better looking. The Murcielago is a great looking car, but just not great looking enough to be better than the Ford GT. Then there's the fun. The Murcielago Roadster is fun, but the Ford GT is so much more fun, especially since it's rear wheel drive, which means you can drift, and I love to drift. The interior in the Murcielago seems a little boring to me, while the Ford GT has a cool, classic style interior. I won't go on, if you want to know anything else, just ask. And before I finish, here are two more pictures I took. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301194627.jpg Parked at the unused Mercedes dealership at the north side of the island in the Ford GT. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090304182535.jpg Tried to improve an old picture of mine which I wanted to use for PotW, but I didn't end up entering PotW.
  6. Maybe you just need to convert the sound files in the NFS:UC directory or record a video with Fraps, and then remove the image with a video editor to be left with sound, and then save that as a .wav file.
  7. There aren't many TDU cars in GTR Evo/Race 07 though. I have it though, so I can provide those files too :)
  8. I have a lot of NFS games, so if I knew how to do this, I would do it, but I don't. Maybe if anyone knows how to but doesn't have the games I could send them the files they need. I know it's an old topic, but this is a great idea, and I hope someone can do it.
  9. I'd have to take the Fiat 500 Abarth Esse Esse over it. It's just so cool! Too bad they don't sell them in North America, I'd love to get my hands on one. This isn't that bad either, but I have to admit that the front end is rather ugly, and there's just some charm the 500 has that this doesn't.
  10. Thanks for explaining the location, I can't explain it very well. Thanks. That's probably one of my favourites. The PotW theme this week is fairly broad, and I've already got quite a few pictures that meet the requirements. I'm gonna try and get some more and them compare with the older ones to see what I'll submit.
  11. I don't like the rear bumper, nor do I like the wing. The front bumper's ok, and everything else is awesome. But as a whole, it's not something I'd consider if I wanted a supercar (If I ever have the money for one).
  12. :)Thanks To get to the police station, go to your save file, go to the bookmark folder, and open bookmark.txt. Then paste this line into it: "Police Station" 1 31859.96 21.34 37235.27 0.993 0.061 -0.100 427910125 Replace the first number (1) with a number unused by other bookmarks in the same place. Example: "Secret Island" 0 64424.74 2.38 44658.07 0.868 0.008 -0.496 434922622 That has 0 in that spot, so if I were to paste the police station bookmark, I would keep it at one. I'm assuming I don't have any other bookmarks, which I actually don't, lol. And yes, that bookmark is for the secret island and you can use it if you want to get there. I could tell you how to drive there, but that would be harder than this. If this doesn't work, post here and I'll give you the location so you can drive there.
  13. Thanks. I couldn't get the RGT to drift either. Oh, I forgot to mention that all those times were recorded in hardcore mode. I took a picture while comparing the Ford GT to the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster. I have more, but I'll be posting those once I have the verdict. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301174714.jpg Wonderful combo, two of my favourite TDU cars in one place :D Update: Took some more, decided to upload some of them. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301183754.jpg Drifting behind a Corvette Z06. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301184200.jpg Driving next to a Pagani Zonda F. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301184416.jpg Driving with a Pagani Zonda F and a Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301184449.jpg Same scene as above, different angle. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301184650.jpg Overtaking a Maserati (I forget the model, lol) Update: It's the Sypder Cambiocorsa http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301184829.jpg Overtaking a Jaguar XK. Another update: Took a picture while driving the Ford GT. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/1.jpg Drifting in front of the police station :D
  14. True, but still a shame. Then I could have picked my favourite car :D In that case, I'd want the GT500 Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds.
  15. I've gotten TDU to work, though my PC is still occasionally slow, but while it wasn't, I went to Oahu Raceway and drove some cars around the track. I took some pics of it too :D http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090228160811.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090228161229.jpg I didn't quite like the Lamborghini Gallardo. The problem was, if you went real fast and then braked hard, it was extremely hard to control. Perhaps it was my mistake, but I tried several times to get things right, and the only thing that worked was to not go as fast, but that bogs down the lap time. Speaking of the lap time, this went around the track in 2:14.9, using my G25, assists off, manual gearbox. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090228165839.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090228194308.jpg The Ferrari Challenge Stradale was much better than the Gallardo. It felt more fun, and it wasn't hard to control when I braked hard at high speeds. Because of the easier control, it went around the track in 2:11.4, using the same settings as the Gallardo (G25, assists off, manual gearbox). That's 3.5 seconds faster than the Gallardo. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090228194536.jpg The TVR Tuscan S had the same problem as the Gallardo, and I didn't even bother taking it around for a lap time. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301111031.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301111240.jpg The Aston Martin DB9 was pretty good, no braking problems and it looks great. It got around the track in 2:14.7, faster than the Gallardo, despite being Class D. Both cars had Level 3 tuning. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301113925.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301114302.jpg The Aston Martin DB7 Zagato, in my opinion, isn't a good looking car. That huge grille at the front doesn't seem to fit it, nor do all the strange curves at the back. It was great fun to drive though. Got around the track in 2:18.1 http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301130449.jpg The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was a fair bit of fun, and it looks fantastic. It's my favourite Aston. Got around the track in 2:18.6 http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301131336.jpg http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090301131430.jpg The RUF RGT. Don't have much to say about it, except that it went around the track in 2:17.3. I took a few other cars around, but I didn't take any pictures. I'm going to be taking the Ford GT and the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster out there to decide which one of them is my favourite car in TDU. I'll have pictures, lap times, opinions, and the verdict posted once I'm done. P.S: If you noticed my license plate is the stock one again, that's because I reinstalled TDU and haven't gotten around to getting the custom plate installed.
  16. Thanks to Ouchiesss and Peri007 for voting for me :D
  17. More problems with my computer, and with TDU too, but I managed to take 2 screenshots. I don't think I'll be able to post daily at this rate, but I'll still try. The pics daily tag in the topic title will be removed in a minute. Here are the 2 pictures I took before TDU failed on me. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090227184534.jpg Outrunning a Subaru Impreza WRX STi in my Shelby GT500 Eleanor. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc60/Evel_Masta/20090227185538.jpg Drifting in the GT500 Eleanor.
  18. I know some French, so I'll give it a try. I can always use Google Translate if I don't know anything. I'll also highlight some interesting stuff. Menu screenshot: Under the "Test Drive" logo, it says "Profil Actuel", which means "Current Profile". Top button says "Continue Game", button below says "New Game", button below says "Profiles", button below says "Options" and the last button says "Quit Game". By the looks of it, there will be no hardcore mode, or the normal game will be hardcore. Map screenshot: "Carte" means "Map". Below that it says "TDU Servers", and I presume the colour of the circle next to that determines their status. Below that it says "Points of Interest", or something similar to that. On the other side of the top bar, above "Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG", it says "Current Vehicle". Below that is your balance, and the interesting thing is you have "Cents" this time around. To the left of your cents balance, you'll see "Nouv." That's "New", but abbreviated. I could be wrong on this one though. Below your balance in cents, it says "Driving School". Below the picture it says "Licences", which is "Licenses" in English. Below the icons, it says "Passed 5/5". I'm guessing that means there are 5 license tests to pass, and in this case, all of them are passed. On the bottom bar, going from left to right, it says "Camera", "Zoom", "Filters", "Ok" and "Exit". Driving/Racing school screenshot: A number of things here have already been translated for the map screenshot, so go there for the stuff I didn't translate. Under the TDU server status, it says "Licenses" or "Permits". At the top of the book under the numbers, it says "Off-Road Licenses". Below that is in English, no need to translate. Below the icons, it says "I love the mud". I'm guessing these licenses are for buggies and stuff, while you only need a road car license for SUVs, but I could be wrong. Next to the "Ok" button, it's in English as well, so I won't translate that. Dealership screenshot: I tried to translate the text in the smaller screenshots, but I couldn't. If anyone with good enough sight to read it could tell me what it says in French, I could translate it, but until then, I'll just translate the stuff on the big one. There's only once thing to translate here, the sentence at the bottom. Everything else is either in English or has been translated before. The sentence says "Select your vehicle and see it's details and it's". The rest is covered up by one of the smaller screenshots. I'm guessing it's supposed to say "and it's interior." at the end, since when you select a car currently, you can look around at it and it's interior. I don't think this should have changed much. Checkpoint screenshot: The orange word at the top means "Summary". Below that it says "Passage Door". Below that it says "Pass all the doors in the given time". Pretty interesting twist to the checkpoint race. Anything untranslated has already been translated in the map screenshot. There you go. I may have gotten a thing or two wrong, sorry if I did.
  19. I'm happy to see that Mercedes should be returning, really hoping that my favourite car will be in the game, the Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series :excited:
  20. I think the car's an Audi. I'm gonna take a look at the Audi website and look at interior pictures. Update: The Audi TT Roadster, according to the gauge on a picture on the website, redlines at 6500RPM. So does the A4 Cabriolet. It's not the A4 Cabriolet, since that's got 4 seats. Could be the TT though.
  21. Thanks. I didn't use TDU black and white in the newest pics. I did lower the saturation though. You might get a black and white look because the car is grey and there isn't enough scenery to indicate there's still colour in the picture. If you mean an earlier pic, I might have used black and white. I'll refrain from using it next time. Also, I was in a bit of a hurry to post yesterday and I forgot to apologize for not posting pictures for almost a week. It's been a very busy week, but I've finished most of the major work, and there shouldn't be anymore for some time, so hopefully I'll be able to post pics daily again.
