  1. Is it weird that the change im most excited about is the Euro style roads with split white lines? Its going to feel so much cooler accelerating and going fast than on solid yellow lines. I feel sorry for Americans in this respect haha!
  2. :happyroll: Imagine lol
  3. Whoops someone move this into 360 sub-forum please!
  4. And now for some grainy discoloured pics! I have TDU on the 360 and I haven't got the HDD transfer kit yet. So I've taken some photos of my not so good TV with my old 2 megapixel cameraphone. Sorry about the menu bar, you can't get rid of that. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00049.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00078.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00077.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00076.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00012.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00066.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00070.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00022.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00045.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00011.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00046.jpg http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z110/thirst_photo/DSC00069.jpg When I get the kit I'll post the actual screenshots. mod edit: Please don't post images over 350KB.
  5. Would be freakin' sensational. Also very out of place in Oahu, but it should still be done!
  6. Nice work, I love the seventh one down and the two Evo shots. :)
  7. I have my wheel clamped to a desk and hold it at arms length. I have it plugged in so it gives resistance. After long sessions of driving on TDU, I can feel my arms getting tired. Should I stop playing at this point? I mean is it good exercise or is it just damaging ligaments and contorting muscles? It'd be awesome if its good for me because I could feel good about playing TDU.
  8. Audi A3 (stage 3) - My favorite, I made a thread about why I like it :p Ferrari 288 GTO - Nice feel and gearing, plus looks Jaguar XJ220 - Addictive powerband from the turbo - squirting the throttle is so fun, speedometer in 10s so accelerating looks satisfying lol
  9. 360 hard drive install hasn't improved the performance at all for me. But its well worth it for the reduction of noise coming from the console.
  10. Is that a stock cluster?
  11. Any dust caught in the fan vent? Jumping Kazoo is right. I have a Belkin USB cooling stand - it does a great job.
  12. That would be cool. And maybe some sort of haggling mini-game lol :D Have you seen Chris Harris' Seagrave Club bender? :happyroll: watch?v=O1Ns4M7yeEA
  13. -Different foliage for 45°+ land, instead of grass strips that just stick out lol -High, dense foliage and crops in some fields, for instance wheat or sunflowers. More farmland to compliment the wild areas. -More narrower roads, e.g villages you can pass through, plus muddy tracks -A classy boulevard or waterfront strip somewhere like in Vice City. Graphics like this :p -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  14. -Dust whipping around from arid fields -Dirt builds up on cars -More uneven road camber. Lumps, potholes and bits patched up in smaller roads. -Less severe elevation changes on highways -Faded road markings -Different and more special purchasing experiences at each showroom
  15. Some nice pics there. I can't wait to geet my transfer kit :D Really stupid that you can't just pop in a usb memory stick btw...
  16. Man im jealous. Worth every buck for the sound alone. The 5-cylinder Volvo 850s and Audi 90/100s are my personal favorite sounding cars...Its a smooth ear-melting sound that fills the spectrum. My dad used to have a C3 100, the only thing that comes close to the awesomeness is the 850. You know, its like that grunt someone makes when they hit a punchbag really hard or do a serve in tennis. Kinda like its trying its best. You don't get that urgent character with a lot of supercars, just a splurge of what sounds like loads of power.
  17. Bolt

    Opel Calibra 16V

That looks like a nice example. I'd change the rims next, black, nothing ostentatious. Though for similar money I would have gone for the Rover 220 Turbo. Honda K-Series madness...
  18. Nobody here seems to recognise it. Anyone know any geography/travel forums we could inquire on?
  19. Hey everybody, thanks. No biggie, it only takes a few hours to get whats neccessary lol. And I'll just note my mileage down before changing profile. Ok fixed.
  20. A helicopter! With a camera for following ground vehicles that a passenger operates. With heat sensitive mode for night (if there's going to be night). GTA4 proved you can view a detailed enviroment for miles around without sacrificing too much detail or making the hardware go on fire.
  21. Hi im new here. :cheeky: Anyone else LOVE the Audi A3 in TDU? Im not an Audi fanboi and I don't own one irl, I just really enjoy driving it in TDU. Its one of the first cars you can afford, and I kinda just stuck with it. I couldn't be bothered driving my faster cars because it was so fun. I have an Enzo and Murci now amongst others, but its the A3 I drive around 90% of the time. I have it set up as: -Sport -Manual (essential!) -Stage 3 tuning Its the perfect car for this game. The DSG means instant changes, and you can use it really precisely to assist handling. With stage 3 tuning its still not "fast" but thats a good thing. It means you can cane it everywhere and hold it flat out on the motorways which is really fun, but it'll still do 170 (150-160 practically). The handling (in sport) is perfect, you can flick it round bends and it kind of snaps back after a point in a really fun manageable way. Its also means you can get some weird pricise drifts so you can fly through a corner if you start at just the right point. The gearbox is probably the best thing about it, the ratios are just right and the shift speed generally helps with chucking the car about (e.g downshift through a long bend while flat out to slighty adjust your line). And it wastes no time when accelerating, so the car feels athletic. Maybe im just really used to it, but driving it seems second nature. Its so malleable. You should get one, its a great drive. :)
  22. Hi, I've been playing TDU for a bit on 360. I haven't got LIVE but will have from June. I've only got about 8 cars, the Enzo is the fastest in my collection. I didn't expect such a big community for the game lol. Well see you all around the boards. And hopefully in Oahu soon. :)
