  1. Wasn't that posted here in the release section a while back?
  2. I think the one you're talking about is the Holden HSV-W427. http://tdu-world.com/load/75-1-0-509 The DL link on that page is just under the Holden HSV W427 text in the orange bar, just above the pics of the car.
  3. Check the date on the first post, it's two years old, but saladine was one of the best sound modders ever for TDU. I just wish he hadn't quit just before he released his F40 sound, I really wanted that one.
  4. Comparing Roadsters to HatchBacks doesn't really make much sense, totally different styles, and usually mega-different mechanics underneath. Roadsters are traditionally smaller lightweight front-engined rear wheel drive cars. HatchBacks are traditionally front-engined front wheel drive cars with little to no "trunk" in the back. Styling is different, performance is different. Then there's the usual sentiment amongst performance car enthusiasts....."Front Wheel Drive does not a performance car make", and they're usually right. FF cars are always plagued with massive torque-steer problems, something I wish more videogames would represent.
  5. This is now done, it's over at HFGarage with an open download.
  6. This is finally done, it's over at HFGarage and the download is open, not hidden like they used to do.
  7. Some of you need to look around a bit more...... Miha2795 over at HFGarage has been workin' his butt off lately releasing TONS of cars for TDU-1 over the last couple of months, Minime is still working on new releases, and I think Grin is still somewhat active. So no, Reventon09 isn't the last modder.
  8. In the future it might be a good idea to put a bit more information in the readme file, like your own name as the credit for the conversion, and maybe the release date and a couple pics of the car as well. It makes it much easier to sort through stuff when you've got 2000 files to keep track of and you have a reference point of who made the mod and when it was released. MCF1-GTR Cockpit Cad16 Cockpit_Back Diablo Hood MCF1GT Hood_Back RufRK IK
  9. I went back to defaults, I kept an untouched backup of the rims file in case anything went wrong.....and it did. We need this function built into an app with a decrypter and encrypter that are compatible with TDUMT.
  10. One hand driving would require modding every car individually. It would require moving the dummies for one hand to the top of the steering wheel, and the other offscreen somewhere, BUT, the unseen hand would still move with the steering wheel and would not stay on the shifter.
  11. After using this method to resize rims and tires, are you still able to use TDUMT to open the cars with??? Every time I try I get a popup error. And I'm having problems with lowering the tire "profile", it doesn't seem to work on most of these cars. The Toyota 2000 GT looks kinda stupid with 70mm profile tires.
  12. I think the model came from TDU-2 with the interior from NFS Shift.
  13. Wait, if he just wants the rim physically bigger, he can do that with TDUPE already. It would be nice to have those same rims with different color options, personally I hate the neon orange color they chose for the real car. Mid-80's neon colors must NOT be resurrected.....
  14. If it doesn't work to change the rim width, it might be there just to change what you see under the "Data" option in the garage and the dealerships.
  15. He's requesting that you make better rims for the Veyron SS mod, so it's not off-topic at all.
  16. Well, find the modder who said that "all future releases will have the tire width controlled by the installer, so if you want proper tire width you'll have to use the it". Said person does have a history of not being entirely truthful with his claims so the statement was taken with a grain of salt.
  17. TDU can most definitely stretch or squish the rim model ingame. Find a car with very wide tires (MurcCpe), and another car with very skinny tires (AC289 or DB4), and try out the same rim model for both of them, the game will actively deform the mesh of the rim as it needs to, either wider or skinnier, or larger or smaller diameter. The key now is to find the exact database entry that actively controls rim width.
  18. That was exactly my plan, high horsepower big block musclecars with 6 inch wide tires is just completely dumb. At least one person has claimed that tire width IS possible to change, but only with the auto-installer that installs the car. Now since that just changes database values, there has to be a way to change the width, unless of course that person was a liar.
  19. I found something that TDUMT doesn't like but TDU itself doesn't care about, fractions in the top speed listing. I set up some physics for the Aston Martin Rapide, and gave it the listed 302.5 kph top speed setting with TDUPE, the game launched and ran fine but when I went to make further adjustments to the ride height with TDUMT, an error screen popped up and it refused to load the car. I removed the fraction from the top speed and it loaded up fine. EDIT: Is TDUMT not compatible with the manual method of resizing rims??? Every time I try to do it, I get an "Unable to load requested vehicle data" popup error. Is there a way to force it to load the data after editing rim size???
  20. Does this work for rim width as well as diameter??? It would be nice to fix a few bugged mods this way.
  21. The Chevy SSR and Holden Efijy Hood cams are the highest and farthest forward hoods in the game, in your mod, they're both still INSIDE the car. The Chrysler 300C Hood_Back cam is the farthest back cam in the game, it's also still INSIDE the car. The Holden Efijy Cockpit cam is the ONLY centered Cockpit cam I could find, and it's blocking most of the road view even at max seat slider height. There are NO Cockpit_Back cams that are high enough to see the road behind you, the 300C is the highest, and 75% of the screen is still blocked. Check the attached ingame photo. The cars sitting next to the SHO are the Toyota Celica GT-Four (RHD Version), and Tool's BMW M3 E46 GTR Street Version. That real BMW has a wheelbase that's only 5 inches shorter than the SHO's, but ingame, the SHO dwarfs the M3. It's not just the wheel size, it's the size of the whole car, once you fix that, the rest will fall in line as it should and there will be a bunch of properly fitting cameras, and the rims should be resized with the car. Right now the rims are looking too big because the whole car is too big.
  22. As far as the cams go, there's no Hood or Hood_Back cams in the game that could ever fit, and the SSR and 300C cockpit cams weren't high enough or wide enough. You might want to put the stock Caddy CTS-V in the garage next to your mod. The real 2004 CTS-V's wheelbase is only 1 inch longer than the real 2010 SHO so your wheelbase needs to be just a hair shorter than the CTS-V's ingame. Your mod is actually wider than the CTS-V, it's taller, and the wheelbase is around a foot longer than the CTS-V's. The scale is too big. And the rims look even bigger now, compared side by side against the CTS-V's, they look like 26-30 inch "dubs". The best thing you could do is match your mod's wheelbase up against the CTS-V before you export it.
  23. Version 1 of this mod had the scale somewhere in the Monster Truck range, that's part of the reason for the steamroller tire width. If v2 is still the same scale, then it's still way too big, none of the biggest, tallest, and widest of the TDU cameras will fit this car.
  24. They would get sued into oblivion if they tried that, licenses only work for the specific game they were purchased for and that's it. As it is they had to wait for Rage's 3 year license with Lambo to expire before they could start making TDU-1. It's also possible that Forza 3 might have the exclusive Lambo license right now.
  25. I've never seen anything in the physics modders that would support that theory.
