  1. Did you even install the Bentley at all??? Because I don't have any custom plates at all and the Bentley still has the Russian plate on it.
  2. Like the old way to change the paint colors on unpaintable cars, it was controlled by a single file and values had to be changed to change the car color. Is there a similar file that controls which cars use specific rims? Example, in the Mercedes rim folder there's 30 different rims, but most of the mercs only use some of them, not all. Is there any way to make all the cars in each showroom use all the available rim choices instead of "bodyswapping" the rim files???
  3. Just wondering, is the scale of the exterior model finalized??? Because it seems to be too big.
  4. Stop jumping down people's throats for asking a simple question. Just because he said no doesn't mean it's not possible at all, especially when we know it IS possible to put a skin on a car mod. A pre-UVmapped skinnable car model IS already available.....
  5. flebusca, read the very first post and read where the model came from, Juiced 2.
  6. That depends entirely on the brand of LED, I've seen the ones that are clear when off but at the same time there are one that are dark red when off, it all depends on the color of the housing used on the outside of the LED. On the real Bentley Continental GT, those LED housings are red, not clear.
  7. I know that, I'm just saying that it's weird for an off-center shift to appear on some bodyswaps but not others which sit perfectly centered. Usually if it it's off-center it's like that on all the swaps, but this time it's kinda random. I was just looking for something a bit faster than the regular GTR slot with a decent hood view. I tried the VW W-12's, the Koenigsegg CCR, and the S7TT. I'll try the Farboud, the Nobles, and the Spykers next. EDit: I ended up putting the Veilside kit on the Zonda of all things, nothing else had a decent hood view.
  8. LED lights are brighter than normal bulbs, that's one of their main advantages.
  9. Essentially make a whole new island or specific tracks is what I'm getting at here. I'd like to see the Nurburgring Nordschliefe, and the Isle of Mann, but with TDU physics and vehicles, both cars and bikes. I'm getting kind of bored running the Millionaire's Challenge in under 42 minutes, so something different would be nice.
  10. Here's a weird bug that I haven't seen before... Some of the bodyswaps put the car WAY off-center to the left, but at the same time, it's centered on other bodyswaps, it's kinda random:confused: The S7TT is one of the left-shifted swaps....weird.
  11. Motorcycle mods, you've claimed "bikes are easy" why not just do a few and prove it???
  12. There's already a CLS 55 AMG in the game.
  13. Extract the BTRQ file from the 440 and put it into the Bentley file, make sure you use the "change filesize" option when you do it. Whenever you encounter a BTRQ bug like that (bad shifting, altered top speeds), always use the BTRQ file from the original car that you're replacing. I replaced the Jag XJ-220 so I had to use the BTRQ file from the original 220 to fix the shifting bug.
  14. FROM SCRATCH ! ! ! That's how MODELING works......
  15. Straight from the audio outputs on the console to the Line In port on the PC using an RCA to headphone adapter you can get at any Radio Shack, then record with something like GoldWave or other sound editors. I used that method to get the gun sounds out of Killzone on the PS-2.
  16. As far as the Nav system not working, it would be better just to find a screen of the real GTR and paste it in static, because that screen isn't a GPS in a real GTR, it's a car computer that shows G Forces, engine temp readouts, and lap times. The R-35 GTR has the built in GPS factory stock, but not the R-34. The R-35's GPS is even tied into the engine's CPU and limits the speed of the car when it's not on a racetrack, the GPS knows...:eek2: To be brutally honest it's not a better model at all, and it's got it's own host of problems.... There's smoothing errors all over the model both from the bugs in the importer itself and the original model creator, most noticeable on the front and rear quarterpanels on both sides that completely mess up the shine on the car. The smoothing errors make it look like someone sideswiped the car on both sides, then painted over it without fixing the dents. It's wavy lines everywhere when they should be straight and smooth. Plus it's using a V-Spec nose without V-Spec badging on the rear. I'm not saying any of this is Reaper's fault because it's not, it's the fault of the bugs in ZModeler's importer combined with the bad smoothing by whoever made the car model.
  17. Is there a way to get rid of the seatbelts, or maybe make them invisible? I tried quite a few bodyswaps and only got a couple decent results, they all pretty much had the BTRQ bug that prevented the car from going past 6400 RPM, but that's easily fixed on my end. I tried the Efijy, Vanquish, Jag XKR, Jag XJ-220, Chrysler Firepower, Aston DB7, Cien, 300-C, both W-12's, and the Viper Roadster. The best results were on the Jag XJ-220 and the Chrysler 300-C, pretty much the only ones that had good hood views and workable driver's views. The rest that I listed had really bad hood views and bad driver's views. This car looks great in British Racing Green, and even looks good with the Cadillac Sixteen rims that you can find in the game but not used.
  18. The Koenig tuner company is still alive and kicking, just ask John Carmack the creator of the Doom and Quake games, he has two or three of his Ferraris tuned by Koenig, one at 1100+ horsepower. Gemballa has been tuning extreme Porsches for more than 20 years now. And Hamaan is one of the "new guys" in the Euro tuner scene, and they do far more than just BMW's as you can see here.... http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars-h.htm Ruf is a tuner AND a manufacturer, and they obtained manufacturer status by changing out more than 70% of the original Porsche components for their own superior Ruf parts. Ruf has also been around for more than 20 years now.
  19. You need the MegaPack installed, then go to the Dodge dealer on the North face of the island.
  20. How about instead of trying to update the game to 2010 status, someone finally starts working on some motorcycle mods??? A quote has been thrown out there that "bikes are easy" but it still hasn't been done yet. And instead of polling a bunch of mediocre cars, how about just checking the hundreds of better and longer standing suggestions in the Requests forum???
  21. Koenig Gemballa Hamaan Ruf And many others, all extreme tuners of Euro sports cars. For some people, the "stock version" of any car, regardless of who makes it, is never enough, that's why the tuners exist in the first place. There's always some crazy idiot who wants a 1000+ horsepower variant of their favorite car, even if it's a Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, or any other Euro supercar.
  22. It's already been done, it's just incomplete. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=10871
  23. This is easily fixed by replacing the BTRQ file in the mod with the one from the original S7.
  24. That was one of the first things I tried actually... Limited to 360hp on the Ford tuneup, limited to the low 400HP range on the Saleen tuneup, plus there's massive wind noise in the driver's view and hood view that isn't there on the hardtops.
  25. The rider's body and animations wouldn't fit.
