  1. There's already a General Lee made, it's been out for a while now..... And what exactly is a "Datsun Skyline" ? ? ? Unless you're talking about a Datsun Z car with an RB26DETT engine and transmission transplant.....which is my dream car.....
  2. Aren't the Oahu Tuners already working on this? The model is already done in NFS-PS.
  3. The real car had turbos that weren't oiled so they blew out within 5000 miles under heavy driving.....my former boss had one, he replaced the turbo twice before he eventually gave up and sold it.
  4. There's a couple different actual RT-10's already made for other games, find them and convert them instead of trying to butcher a GTS.
  5. Reaper, look at the original six car list that I posted.... I DID try the mod on the car it was supposed to go on, that was the first thing I did, and the passenger floating on the seat bug (caused by the out of place passenger position dummy), and the seatbelts ending in thin air, those bugs were still there.... I used that car as a reference, then I did the same thing I do with many other mods, I try it out on multiple cars to see what it fits best on, and in some cases, that's not the originally intended car. There's too many mods out there going onto the exact same cars that it's going to be impossible for some of us to stick to the originally intended car. I've got no less than three different cars that were originally intended to go on the CLK-55, they can't all fit at the same time.
  6. More swaps tested....and yes I understand that the mod wasn't designed for the swaps, I never claimed otherwise..... The BMW logo randomly dissappears from steering wheel regardless of which swap is attempted. Chrylser 300-C (way too low, wheels ghost through body, bad interior cam) Aston DB7 Zag (too low, driver is reclined:eek: but the interior cam is maintained, very weird) Holden Effigy (hood view kinda high, best swap option so far) Ferrari 612 (too low and a wonky interior cam, you can see through the driver's neck) Ruf Turbo (very low, rear wheels hit body) Aston Vanquish (too low, hood cam is too far back)
  7. How exactly is giving a bug report (a.k.a. the truth) considered "aggressive"??? Answer = It's not. It's only taken as "aggressive" around here because nobody else steps up and does it, and THAT is a bigger problem than just giving the bug reports. Have the guts to step up and say "hey, I see a problem with this model". If anything it's more aggressive to jump down someone's throat just for giving a simple suggestion, bug report, constructive criticism, or even when nothing wrong is being done at all, which HAS happened here, and it didn't come from me..... I'm honestly sick and tired of getting jumped on by people who will never understand the true meaning behind Constructive Criticism and bug reports. It's NOT bashing anybody to do those things, it's done in an effort to help make them better at what they're doing because NOBODY is perfect, we're all human and we all make mistakes and we don't always see those mistakes. Take a trip over to SMCars (or any other high level 3-D modeling forums), browse their forums, EVERYBODY gives CC and bug reports there and none of it is taken as "aggression" at all. All I was doing by listing the cars that I tried was giving people options for car swaps in case they didn't want the BMW in the CLK 55 slot.
  8. 1. It's called a BUG REPORT, and since it's not your conversion, you've got nothing to say about it. 2. It's kind of hard to ignore the seatbelts when they're THREE FEET IN THE AIR ABOVE THE CAR ! ! !
  9. The passenger seating position is floating off the seat again in every car I tried, it looks like the passenger position dummy is away from the seat. And the body swaps are almost all ruined by the seatbelts ghosting through the car. I tried... Pontiac GTO (seatbelts 3 feet in the air above the car) Cadillac CTS-V (no rear view in interior cam and seatbelt through the driver's window) Spyker C8 Coupe (really bad interior and hood camera views and seatbelts through the drivers face) Lexus IS-350 (seatbelts through the drivers face) Merc CLK 55 (seatbelts floating in mid air inside the car) Maserati GS Coupe (bad interior view, seatbelts through drivers face, ride height too low) I'll try the aforementioned Ferrari and Ruf swaps to see if they're any better.
  10. Why bother putting up these polls when there's a REQUEST FORUM with tons of requests that go completely ignored???
  11. It doesn't matter which forum you go to, you could have a sticky topic that answers ALL questions relevant to the board, and idiot noobs would still be deliberately LAZY and make their own topic to ask those same questions. I've seen it hundreds of times before, and it will never change. Besides which, the time limit between searches on this forum is enough to make people not use it.
  12. In other words, he ripped a better model out of a different game.
  13. You should only need to fix the btrq file if you're having problems with the upshifting or RPM sticking. I fixed a few different cars last night, that is, after I found out how to do it the right way, the first attempt locked up my PC completely, neither ALT+TAB or CTRL+ALT+DEL would work to get out of the game, only the reset button on the tower worked
  14. So to fix it I have to decompile the original car that I want to mod (ME-412), get that btrq file out of it, then, decompile the Veyron, replace that file, then recompile it?
  15. I got the RoJa rims working properly, but it only seems to work one way, and that's if you buy the stock Alfa GT with the FIRST rim option, then tune the car. However, if you buy the car with the other two rim options, they'll still be bugged, you can't even buy the RoJa rims on the stock Alfa GT without them being bugged, it gives you a 19inch rim inside a 17inch tire. Now, I found something new, and it's something I haven't seen before on any other mod..... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/Integra-Rims.jpg Notice the lighting on the rims, and the light position on the car itself. For some reason, on the LIGHT side of the car the rims are very dark, but on the dark side of the car the rims are very light. The lighting and shadowing on JUST the rims is backwards, weirdest thing I've seen in this game so far.
  16. If you put the offset too far inward, the rim will start to ghost through the brakes. One of the RUF cars has offset rear rims, as does the Farboud, and the Lambo Countach, the Lambo Murcielago does but only the center of the rim is offset.
  17. The rims show up INSIDE the tire, and they show up too big. It looks like a 19 inch rim showing up inside a 17 inch tire. It's exactly like the bug on the Mustang GT when it's tuned to a Saleen, the rims get bugged if you don't choose the very first rim option when you buy the car. I don't make things up... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/RoJa-Bug.jpg It looks like the texture on the rim is twisted a bit as well.
  18. I'm using a USB adapter for a Playstation 2 controller, so it's not specific to the control method. This happens on any car that's replaced by the Veyron, so it's gotta be something in the model. I also found the same kind of thing in the Audi R8 swapped onto the ME412, the car refuses to go above 5100rpm in 7th gear, which limits the car's top speed to 232MPH when I've had it up to 244MPH on the stock model. I tested the top end on the road by the Airport at the north end of the island, it's one of the longest flattest straight stretches in the game.
  19. The Roja rims are bugged, they're the wrong size and they show up behind the tires.
  20. Those would work if they weren't just a little bugged, the rim size doesn't show up right, and the rims show up behind the tires. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v133/Kurgan777/Bullit-Almost.jpg I put that Mustang on the Dodge Challenger because I already had the Eleanor-II in the GT-500 slot.
  21. Yes they can, this has already been presented to you. Find the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am mod (it's here on the forums somewhere), and put it on the Pontiac GTO in the game. The automatic transmission will get messed up, it refuses to upshift by itself with the mod installed. The same kind of thing is happening with the Veyron, it's somehow interfering with the transmission and the traction control.
  22. I found the brake discs and calipers, I tried out this car on the Farboud. They're in the position that the wheels SHOULD be in so right now they're ghosting through the ground. The hood view works on the Farboud, but the Interior view still shows the invisible hood and the inside of the front bumper, and the interior rear view is almost entirely black. The pop-up lights work though :D
  23. The model+interior is already done in NFS Pro Street plus it's already been converted to San Andreas, just find someone to convert it.
  24. Super small rims on the front, they literally float off the ground. The driver's position is through the seat, more like behind it. And the hood view is totally messed up, I don't even see a hood at all, I think what I see is the inside of the front bumper
  25. Body lines of an Aston Martin??? I strongly suggest a trip to your local Eye Doctor..... It looks more like a BMW 6 series from the sides than ANY Aston I've ever laid eyes on.....
