You guys are all too funny :).

I was shocked to see all of the different views that it had, even though most were half-assed. Still mind blowing for us who still enjoy the game :P.

Ah, neat. Did a test one myself (below). Somewhat surprised that I just learned about that feature 3 years after it's been released. You can tell it's one of the least polished features in the game.

This is the first comparison video I've ever done. Had to cut the pCARS clip a few times to better match it with AC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLkcXkxcJnk "My thoughts: pCARS is just too bright, making things look not as realistic or pleasant to look at compared to AC. The FFB in AC is really nice (I actually always play pCARS with FFB off for some reason). Handling wise, AC was more of a handful, mostly because it doesn't play nicely with my G27. Basically, steering sensitivity is insanely high on AC. I barely have to turn the wheel for the car to do a lot, regardless of what the degrees of rotation is set to (40 vs. 900, 900 is more sensitive...). Both had every assist turned off. You have to be more careful on the throttle when coming out of a corner in pCARS. As long as I was above 1st in AC, I could floor it without any worries. (My personal take on "simulated" physics is, unless if you've ever been in one of these cars, you don't have a /true/ say as to whether or not the handling is realistic. How else would you know if they are? You really can't.) They're both excellent titles. At this particular time, I prefer pCARS, since it has more content, can have better looking visuals, has a more straightforward menu system, and a working multiplayer system. Since neither is actually released, many things are subject to change, maybe more so for pCARS."

I guess I could try being less careful during the first downhill S... I'm always very slow there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zBUk-HBijc

Yup, I was struggling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0qBQBwJsNc This race was much better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bbsFiA33Gc This race also wasn't too bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U53s9AnOlIM

I occasionally change my entire desktop to a setup like that. But then everything feels way too dated and go back.

:p NOPE.

My lovely luck is back! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F_I4GBbXtA

Hmm... Does Battlefield 1942 for PC Download | Origin have microtransactions, or is it exactly the same as the original BF 1942?
-
Oh snap! Definitely going to reinstall my copy. I barely played it online back in the day, and when I did, it was always on Wake. Which reminds me: Play it! Bought a Steam key for GRID 2 on eBay for cheap and don't recall opening it.

independant server hosting. Is it possible?
BeSweeet replied to Sc0p3z_Za's topic in Driving & Racing Games
In all reality, it'll probably never happen again :(. Only one person I remember from TDU1 comes onto TDU2, but that's only every so often. I still enjoy TDU2 though (probably the only person here who does).- 7 replies

Pretty smooth race. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljrVid956XY Looks like I found a bug! BARELY made it to the finish (.067s). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wLAxQ-xnpI Epic last lap, one of the best finishes I think I've ever had/seen thus far in this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEUV86S3f9s --- Post Updated --- I always use FRAPS, limiting the frame rate to 29.97 (standard NTSC frame rate). There are many different alternatives.

Giving Assetto Corsa another go. Dat AI... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuSiAJFNyKU Was kinda funny how the BMW fell back in line after hitting me.

Failed hard into turn one on lap 2. Wish I wasn't bumped into on the last lap, but maybe that's not what happened on Zolti980's end. Oh well. Was fun overall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t_XQnoHxBs

Oops... I meant for Next Car Game :(.
-
Nice job with the new freecam. I rage quit it after a few minutes :(.

The past 5 or so pages on the pCARS screenshots thread (on the official forum) have been outstanding. Too bad it's not viewable by the public.
-
Not bad. Looks like they worked on the sense of speed. When I tried it a few months ago, there just wasn't much of a sense of speed. Going 100 felt like going 40 or something (MPH, that is).
-
Mine's now 100. Was hoping to get a few more but NOPE. Game had to fail me.

Hmm? 10chars

My latest little video is done. **NOTE** All of the clips that you see in this video have been left completely untouched (no video effects or graphics injectors), using beta build 658 of Project CARS. My latest Project CARS music video is complete. Heard this song a few days ago and wanted to make a small and quick video out of it. Song: "Love Don't Die" - The Fray (iTunes - Music - Helios by The Fray) The recording and rendering resolution were both the same at 1920x800, which gives the video an automatic ultra-wide, "cinematic" effect. The in-game graphics settings were set to their maximum values (except for anti-aliasing, which was set to DS2X). If you'd like to see the raw, uploaded video file (ultra-high quality) with very little compression, you can download a copy (84MB) here: MEGA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P37EkELx6pk
