  1. Ttry changing / correcting the car model & sub-model names with TDU Editor.
  2. Ok, I've created audio & physics mods for Terzer's 458 Italia & tuned them for v2 Audio F360_Stradale_audio.bnk - 0.45MB This audio will work correctly up to 9000RPM. It has a couple of minor looping issues, but I can't get it any better without starting from scratch & they're not particularly noticeable in any case. Physics Ferrari Challenge Stradale.tdupk - 0.001MB I spent a heap of time on this physics mod. Features are: - Accurate 0-100 & Top Speed - Finely tuned Suspension & Handling to match the 458's real-world handling characteristics - Correct Redline (9000RPM) - Real-World stats & settings where possible I'm pretty happy with this physics setup. It's possible to drive the car hard with all Driving Aids off and still keep it under control. It does take a little bit of practice, but once you're used to it you can hang the tail out but still stay in pointing in the right direction :D Note: If this physics mod crashes your game, try changing / correcting the car model & sub-model names. Let me know if you have any issues. If you have accuracy issues with Shark971's HUD while using my physics mod, let me know, I have a fix for it. Let me know what you think! Sambo.
  3. All good Terzer, we all really appreciate your huge efforts in releasing this car to the community!!
  4. That's up from the 175 reported most recently! Also, I think I found the aforementioned pic of the fuel gauge: http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/9480/tdu2ingameshader1.jpg It's from quite an old post on the forzacentral forums with some concept / development pics / info. http://forzacentral.com/forum/showthread.php?31230-TDU2-Exclusive-Material-Final-Update Obviously these are alpha / possibly obsolete images, but it could make it into the final cut. Fuel usage would be sweet, but what would be even sweeter is vehicles that use up fuel at different rates depending on their efficiency & also use up fuel faster as you are traveling faster! For instance, at top speed, the Veyron uses up all it's fuel in 12 minutes!! I don't think that kind of thing would be very hard to program so hopefully that's how it works!
  5. What I want to know is what happens if you actually run out of fuel!? Considering you can walk around outside the cars now, is it a matter of a long walk to a gas station and back with a can of fuel!? Can we hitchhike now!? :D
  6. Hmm, maybe there's a difference with a later version of the model? It was definitely spot on on my system. I'll check again once the final model version comes out

    1. All that will be fixed in the next update, however, you can download Shark971's HUD (a few pages back). The 9k RPM fix is a little complex.
    2. Try (re)setting the vehicle name in the last tab.
    3. Hey Mask, You need to use Dredgy's TDU Performance Editor (http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=15361). Once you have it running, just use the 'Import Performance Pack' to import the .tdupk file and overwrite the currently loaded car settings.
    4. Hey Shark971, Thanks for doing the 458 hud, it looks awesome! I've managed to work out how to get the km/h speedo accurate. You just need to modify the hud.ini file as follows: ---------- AddHud "interior_kmh" -10 353 0 310 ---------- Also, for a model with 9000rpm fix applied, the RPM readout wasn't correct with your hud. Modify the following line in the hud.ini like this to fix: ---------- AddHud "interior_rpm" 0 10500 0 280 ---------- For some reason the setting for the external hud is 'interior'!? Also, none of the settings in the hud.ini seem to affect the cockpit hud view. Maybe this info is in the vehicle model files!? Sambo. PS; your private message store is full :)

      1. Hey Shark971, what video card / settings do you use with TDU? The 458 pics you post are so sweet! For instance, your wheels always look completely round, whereas mine have flat sections. Or are you 'shopping them before you post? :D
      2. Wow guys, that is looking SO DAMN GOOD!! I'm so glad this car is getting the care and attention it deserves!!
      3. New tail light looks ok. Pretty close to the real thing: http://preview.tinyurl.com/2wozd25 http://preview.tinyurl.com/3a75dm4 Edit: Hmm, on 2nd thoughts, maybe the new ones are a little too indented...
      4. Holy CR@P shark971, that pic looks REAL!! That's a POTD contender for sure! Who do we tell about such things?
      5. The F430 hud is pretty close to the 458, maybe it would be easier to modify that instead? If we really want to start from scratch then there are some very nice high res images of the 458 dash online eg; http://www.cartype.com/pics/7386/full/ferrari_458_italia_cluster_10.jpg Doesn't show all of it and there is some shadow however. Edit: Can't we just steal the one out of Forza3 :D Maybe Terza can extract the one used in the current interior?
      6. By the way, the reason that the front wheel looks like it's off the ground is that the suspension settings need adjusting. I'll include that fix with my physics.
      7. I'm working on the full physics btw, will be a couple of days until I can release tho due to IRL commitments.
      8. Very nice Terzer!!! +++Rep for you!! :) BTW, I'm trying to do the physics for this car but despite setting the Redline to 9000 RPM, I can only get it to rev to ~8200 RPM. I have seen this on other models before where there seems to be some kind of limit to the RPM that the car can rev to in the model itself (or so it seems). Do you know of any reason this could be happening or place where any kind of limit might be set in the model file itself?
      9. Daaaaym that's a FREEKIN' SEXY CAR!!!  If you are prepared to upload / PM me a beta I can take a closer look in-game, it's hard to tell details from pics. I'm very keen to help with the project as this is a car I've wanted in TDU for a long time!! I also have some great 458 pics to compare it to.
      10. Maybe there's a hidden bonus house - the hatch :D
      11. Hmm, yeah, I'm surprised as well. I mean 175 cars isn't a small amount, but it's not a huge amount more than TDU1. If they're going to add new cars like the Veyron and the Ferrari 458 Italia (hopefully!!) plus all the other cars that have come out since TDU1, they're either going to remove some old cars or not add many new ones!
      12. What, X-Rated weather!!??  Hey, I think I found some 'hidden' pics: http://tdu.gameprophets.com/uploads/gallery/62/ At least, I haven't seen these before anywhere... The larger numbers are the more recent ones.
