Reports: Apple to purchase McLaren Technology Group?
CLR-GTR replied to TurboDuck's topic in Automotive Discussion
And Ferrari and Rolls Royce would definitely not build SUV's, and Jaguar would definitely not build diesel powered stationwagons... ... so why's the deal not done yet? -

Maybe this was already brought up considering it's news of the Garage Week 6 announcement but for whoever missed it: -
Maybe it's me again but I can't see any of the pictures. :cheeese:

403, good story, motoring! -
Ehm.... ehhh... :leaves: But ye that's sort of the reason I wouldn't go that way on this car, exactly that group of people. Though it would make me fit another stereotype regarding Merc drivers, but I'll skip on that

I don't like the split 5-spoke wheels. They're too common imo, overused, I want something a bit less obvious. Hm... I gotta take some more looks at this. But I really don't wanna go for those black wheels, and full black isn't classy.

More cars can be discovered in this video from 12:12 onwards, sorry for being too brand tunnelvision'ed again but the standard SLR coupe seems to be in as well, as well as some cars which lack a visible model and in some cases even their names: -
Found some decent pics since these rims really depend on their depth, so I thought I'd give it a try as well: And now I've had all of them lol. Time to start saving... for the 7-doublespokes.

I think you guys are right with the R32...: Very well spotted :nods: The exhaust pipe bulge, the mud guard in front of the rear wheel, the flat roof and rear bumper contour... I thought it was a Ute because if the rear would be an R32, it would have a spoiler, so it would have a see-through bit between spoiler support and left C-pillar. Just a bit of lazyness I guess.

D.R.I.V.E. has been Kickstarted! And we need you!
CLR-GTR replied to CLR-GTR's topic in Driving & Racing Games
We hoped we could get some more attention by showing more videos with more content and functionality but due to various reasons we didn't get to making them or get the content ready in time. We're also realistic: yes it might have given us a bit more attention and we should have tried, then again when you see the list of media we contacted, and how many even responded to begin with, we know we'd never pull in the amount of people needed. Ah well, time to learn, look forward and work on. -

I just read it back, it first showed up in the ''total confirmed summary list'' since week 2 yes. Maybe that's also the moment they corrected to have the C63 Coupe, not the E63 as they first called it. Up to date now, thanks :D -
D.R.I.V.E. has been Kickstarted! And we need you!
CLR-GTR replied to CLR-GTR's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Lol thanks Ryan. And on that note a textual update from ourselves: So we've failed kickstarter. We ended at 1421 pounds, and that was thanks to auction-style last minute addings. We are very aware of what caused this: we had too little to show, especially of where we want to go with D.R.I.V.E. Various factors meant we couldn't spend as much time on creating update-material as we'd like, and perhaps we underestimated the time we needed. What is our plan now you might wonder. Well, we're continuing with what we're doing: coding, texturing, modelling and landscaping towards a small playable environment first to get some more interest again in the project and have more to show. Failing on kickstarter isn't a death blow to us since there's plenty of work we can do as it is now, and we're doing this without a paycheck for any of the team members and without a publisher forcing us to release something ahead of schedule. So, we're just carrying on. Our website is up and running, we have gained a fair bit of attention, so now that we have it, we can build on that. We'll post updates on our website and on social media when we have news and ofcourse we'll answer questions. I'd also like to keep this topic open so I can also post our updates here directly. Thanks to everybody for the attention, spreading the word and your offers of help. :) -

The Space Thread: Diablo's Home Planet Found
CLR-GTR replied to TIMELESS's topic in General Discussion
Yes very sad. It is an achievement they have pulled off landing on such an irregular shaped and relatively small object. Speaking of which, there's another, even more ambitious mission under way. It's called OSIRIS-REx, and it will be launched this week. It will travel to a planetoid called Bennu, from which it will grab some material and send that back to Earth. And it will be the probe itself doing the material-grabbing, so no separate modules commanded by an orbiter this time. It will arrive at the planetoid in July 2020, in March 2021 it will start the trip back home, to arrive here in September 2023. Another launch is that of the Mars InSight, which will happen in May 2018 with an arrival on Mars in November the same year. One of the novelties is drilling to depths of up to 4,5 meters. And to conclude the post, here's another video: the Solar Dynamics Observatory witnesses a double eclipse as both Earth and the moon pass through the image: -

So.... I assume that C:\Windows\memory.dmp should last be modified on the day of crashing, but it's been showing 29th of June as last modification date, while I've had the crash plenty of times ofcourse since then. Which obviously hidden setting do I have to enable to get WhoCrashed to be useful? Under PC Properties > Advanced > Start and recovery, the settings are as following: [V] register events in the system log [ ] Automatically reboot computer Errortracing data registration: [Full memory dump] [V] overwrite existing file [V] disable automatic memory dump removal when diskspace is insufficient Inside WhoCrashed the settings are as following: [V] stop Windows from deleting memory dump files

I'm fine with the way it is now, and if nothing major shows up, the first thing I'll be buying is an extra set of rims (7-double spokes 19" still #1 candidate). Today I went to the local gardening center to pick up a bag of gravel for the garden, and when we walked back to the car, I saw this standing there. Excellent time to take pictures, and the camera's home :/ It's 350 petrol vs 350 CDI, stock exterior vs AMG styling... and folding mirrors vs no folding mirrors  These Shooting Brakes are a rare sight too, rare enough that Das Haus is most likely going to axe it with the third gen CLS. For techies and trendies: the following anti-quality of the images could turn your stomache upside down. :nods:
