  1. You can order the Edition1 cars WITHOUT the stripes, it's an option similar to omitting the type designations. Just like the rear wing is optional for the AMG versions, part of the aerodynamics pack or as a standalone item. And no, the lightbrown one was to show the new color they added :p
  2. If the R50 would be there I would almost consider it...
  3. Facelift GLA looks quite good, especially as AMG. Also comes with VXR/OPC wheels:
  4. Who knows. Maybe in previous times so few people chose for red or light grey that they only those the most popular colors to continue with, and the dark blue only for top-end luxury cars. Maybe they also did it to save money on having to put each color through validation. Or maybe some floaty interior trend analyst told them these are THE colors and the rest is soooooo not done in 2017. Little bit like with paints... unfortunately Merc isn't like a Lamborghini or Ferrari where people love strong actual colors.
  5. Regarding colors, no idea, but you can always take care of that for an AMG. In fact it should be the easiest to choose from because they got their whole AMG Performance studio's thing set up for that, where the other engines are just mass production and that would take more time to incorporate special requests. Regarding layout of the pattern/stitching/shapes: they use seats these days to indicate which Line or model you've chosen and for the AMG's there's little left to choose unless you want it to have the same seats as a 220d.
  6. Is that a photoshop or does the base E63 allow for that grille option? The E63 S doesn't... Here's the E-Class Allroad All-Terrain. This one's configured with almost all stuff on it (and the badges off of it). That means the price went up from 58.101,75 euros to 102.018,70 euros. And this is the entry model 220d (I think everything's gonna be 4-cylinders that this car will see). Avantgarde vs Exclusive interior only changes the direction of the lines on the center surfaces of the seats, Exclusive's are longitudinal while Avantgarde's are from left to right. The car below doesn't have either because it has the designo Nappa Leather option which eliminates some of the dividing into patches, and adds a diamond pattern. Seems servo-closing doors are back on the equipment list. What I found odd was the option of ''fuel tank with increased capacity'' still measuring a lousy 66 liters. They really do everything to get in the lowest tax classes...
  7. Triple post :D Aston Martin has registered a new logo/badge: Source: What is This Mysterious Aston Martin Logo? » AutoGuide.com News Personal view on this: this is a logo good enough for a Chinese car builder or for a racing game that can't afford real licenses. And I don't care if it's the true original logo of the brand or not, I don't see Mercedes, Audi, Ford, Renault and Opel going back to their first ones. Everybody knows AM because of the winged logo, which fits well with the expensive cars, and I think especially for a high-end brand with the type of customers they get, it might cost them more than just paying to file the trademark... I really hope if this ever makes it onto an Aston Martin, it'll be next to the production date clock of a plastic part, nowhere else.
  8. Mustang has been opened up further as the convertible has been facelifted as well. And in other news, BMW soon stands for Bornse Motoren Werke  Although not yet confirmed by BMW or VDL Nedcar spokespeople, the factory near the village of Born is going to expand in the upcoming weeks most likely to start building 2 Active Tourers and X1's. The reason is that demand for these cars is so high that even with maximum capacity and maximum shifts in the original German factory, BMW can't keep up with demand. VDL Nedcar is no stranger to them; they are already producing the Mini 3-door and convertible, and they are the only plant to produce the second generation Countryman. In the past, they built Mitsubishi's Outlander and Colt, the Smart ForFour and multiple series of Volvo's and DAF's.
  9. That Opel looks really nice. Definitely wouldn't mind being seen in that. I saw those pics of Linkin Park at the center... ye maybe the R50, or at least one of its design studies (one of perhaps a dozen made which we'll never see). However, for some reason it doesn't feel like the actually chosen design, I have the feeling the greenhouse is too far back compared to the first teaser shot of the side view. They better bring back the monoblade wiper on that thing... EDIT: more news on the Kia Stinger: Kia confirmed the vehicle will debute for the European market in Q4 2017 with pricing announced around that time. Europe will get 3 engines to choose from: a 2,2-liter 197 hp 440 Nm diesel engine, a 2,0-liter 252 hp 353 Nm petrol engine and the top-spec 3,3-liter 370 hp 510 Nm V6
  10. I think the problem with Fuel combined with the large map was the fact they went for this apocalyptic scenario, which makes everything look the same. The Crew suffers less from this because it's a current-day world with intact cities, villages, landmarks and regions. I think The Crew and TDU are good examples of how it can work fine and that their worlds are not too big. I'd rather go for Perfect or Not enough.
  11. Thanks D. I'm slowly getting used to how to use the livery editor/creator thing, also made my own Caterpillar skin for the Holden V8 supercar and some Audi Sport DTM insipired livery for the S1 Quattro rally car. Here's my Aston Vantage, I've gotten so sick of seeing it slip through my hands in the wheelspins so often that I almost bought it... until I actually did win it :D. Although it's not really visible on the pictures, I went for a 90's two-tone paintjob with a dark main color and light silver sideskirts and front bumper lip. Also added some TWINTURBO writings here and there in the attempt of making it look like a test vehicle for such a setup (and it's tuned to have turbo's :D) Ofcourse the game sometimes spawns interesting AI vehicles, and in this case it thought the R390 and XJ220 were perfect for twisty snowy paths with steep gradients (the large jump just east of the exit of the festival site). The Jag needed 30 seconds to get up there  Again a color change for the E63, this time something a bit like Merc's designo Mauritius Blue, a special strong blue color which is quite rare. Wheels were made a bit darker than normal as well. And to make up for snowman massacre in the Bucket List challenge and one of the recent Forzathon's, I decided to include them in a few pictures :D
  12. I find that really difficult, good pics of jumping over other cars. Maybe it says more about a certain lack of realistic perception on my side, but sometimes I think OHHHH I GOTTA MAKE THIS PICTURE, and I enter photomode, only to find out my car's about 10 meters up in the air so I can never get both of them and the action in a good picture :(
  13. Ye, roughly that. If I look around a bit more, it almost seems like a hybrid between 3 cars. The G500 4x4², the Binz G XL and the Brabus G500 XXL. The 4x4² is an official MB vehicle. Binz modifies cars (mostly Mercs) to police vehicles, hearses, and armoured vehicles. Brabus needs no explanation I guess: a restorator/tuner.
  14. At least one guy needs a clear panoramic view when he directs the driver to a new oil well. It's not a normal G-Class, it's a long wheelbase version. You can tell by the seam of the rear door and the rear wheelarch.
  15. Amen to that. Fuel is the Mariana Trench of Codemasters portfolio. I think something the size of TDU's gameworlds or just a bit larger should do, anything much bigger just becomes very hard to keep interesting (because too much could look the same) and alive (with AI or other means). And Fuel is the perfect example of such a game.
  16. I don't like the Mustang. Too much attempt at making it look a bit more sleek with a low nose, imo a Mustang should be a bit in-your-face with a big front-end. Now the grille's way too wide and the lights are too small. Also don't like the inside, it looks a bit cheap. That Merc seems to be a less crazy special than the 6x6. The 6x6 spawned a 2-axle little brother called the 4x4², and perhaps 6x6 production has stopped, leading customers to ask MB for a real Mercedes pickup truck based on the ever-lasting G-Class.
  17. I tried to look a while ago for a location on the harddrive but it really doesn't seem to be there. So I guess the only way is to download them one by one.
