  1. I don't think we're going to see anything HUGE till E3. But I'm sure if a new trailer or photos get released, we'll see one or two new cars...they can only do so much by repetitively showing the same thing again and again. Or, we just won't see anything at all until E3. If they're at E3.
  2. Hypothetical: I have 100k to spend. I already have a Lamborghini (sports car check), I have an S65 AMG (saloon check). I have a secondary house in the woods, there aren't any actual roads in some areas, just some rough dirt. The Land Rover doesn't really cut it since I don't like it's handling at all, but I need something that can go offroad. But I'm greedy, so I want the power and I want it to handle well enough to scare a couple of people in their sports car. The Sedan is also too small for all of my spouce's and kids things, and can't tow the trailer either. So: It needs to handle decently so I LIKE driving it, it needs to go have enough offroad potential to get over small things that a car cannot, yet I don't need a Hummer, It needs to have the passing power especially when hauling a boat. And It needs to be higher to see things ahead decently. What am I left with? A wagon will get stuck in the offroad part in some places. It also doesn't have that height advantage for field of vision Hatchbacks are too small, but same problem as wagons That leaves these vehicles. Should put some proper all season tires on these vehicles and do a comparison off road...the Cayenne is really good actually, the ML63 isn't all that bad, I don't know about the BMWs. We have an MDX and in winter that thing is awesome especially on really badly covered snow roads and country paths.
  3. It doesn't matter if you're driving an X5M, X6M, Cayenne Turbo S, Overfinch Vogue GT, Q7 V12 TDI or an ML63 AMG. They all make Newton roll around in his grave. That said: I'll take the Benz which has a good chance of being in the game for a few reasons: Mercedes is cool with their licensing and Mercedes is also one of the few car companies in the game so far ;)
  4. Yeah, that's me The only reason I used PGR's physics as an example, was because it had one of the better phyiscs going on for arcade racers (PGR 2 at least), but anything is better than what we had to deal with before. Didn't get a chance to read it yet, but it's downloading now. Edit: I have a feeling the "casual VS realistic" feel comes with the car being AWD VS RWD. AWD is probably more forgiving and easier to control in the game, where as the RWD cars make it more difficult to drive. Because they compared the Audi to the Ford for the scenario...that's my guess on it. It's the only way you can "graduate" from one to another.
  5. Okay...seriously. Good eye. There's no way I would have seen that without slowing down the video!
  6. So, what dealership do you think that dealer actually is? Obviously in the final game the cars won't be sold like that, right? They must be having normal dealers and whatnot....and do you think we can at least test drive or look at club exclusive cars in a dealership, just can't purchase it?
  7. Take a look at the "Ferrari" and look at the front of it, it's got an "intake" and a headlight visible on the top of the hood portion. Vipers headlights aren't high like that, nor is there an intake in that position I am glad that the Viper is a coupe and not a convertible...then again, I think i might be one of the few who prefer Coupes to Spyders/Roadsters and whatnot.
  8. Haha, I'll let you know if I decide to swap the name there. For now I'll leave it since that alias is all over the place on that site and is decently known (I think), but in case I change my mind I'll hit you up! :)

    1. I love how this list was updated tomorrow ;)
    2. Really a 360CS? SWEEEEET. What'd be cool is if club exclusive cars have to be bought by the club as a whole first before they are allowed to be bought by members from a dealership. For instance if a club bought it, then it's members can buy one from the dealership, kinda harsh since you'd be paying nearly a crapton for that car, but kinda worth it I guess.
    3. I had a weird thought: What if all the cars we've seen so far: Gumpert, Aston DBS and one-77, Dodge Viper, Audi TT-RS and the Koenigsegg are all club exclusive cars? That may explain why they are all in the same garage? I know it seems weird (especially the Viper, so that may not be and same with the DBS), but the other ones might be, including the Pagani Zonda Cinque. I say this because they're in the garage together and I'm sure the clubs have their own garage if no one is using the car. However, it could be all in the same garage because there's only one person playing....that said the R8 was cool, doesn't look much better from the old dealership though. The handling looks a little more PGRish from what I saw, which to be honest is good, some of it was weird though for instance the Q7 handled a bit too well for my tastes on the dirt EDIT: NEVERMIND. I just saw the cars in the dealership....However is it possible that car in the dealership, the Koenigsegg is a different Koenigsegg? I still standby that the Zonda Cinque is club exclusives and since I didn't see it in the dealership but the Roadster was there, it's possible.
    4. It'll be the same options you start with, I don't think you'll get anything special other than that...for the haircuts thing...does that mean your hair grows out, then you need to get it cut?
    5. I don't know if this was mentioned, but the cosmetic surgery part makes sense since they didn't want to use menus and wanted to make it more "real" for changing your look....Saint's Row did this too I think.
    6. I was going to go to the stop in Toronto, but my cousin will be going for me and taking photos.
    7. Hey! Brown Chaos is an old alias I used to use, I tried to get it changed over there but then didn't bother with it! Glad to see a few familiar people here as well I'll beware of the mafia, plus I'm sure I'm a little insane myself

      1. I hope we get the CCX so that we can all buy it or something, this club thing where you need to share cars...I understand the concept, but without being able to buy it at the end of the game kind of renders it useless...especially if everyone is nabbing for it at once. Like I don't see me jumping on the Gumpert all the time, but if i can have my own CCR or CCX then i won't be so all over the CCXR that I must have...I tend to stick to lower end cars anyway but still...
      2. There's a few here I've seen....Jeep SRT 8 is much more common though.
      3. I thought we would be able to buy the cars from the dealership, but if we didn't have the money then we could get to use it exclusively from the club until we can afford our own...no? For instance the Gumpert may cost a lot and for those new members they can reserve it, but for others they might still be able to purchase the vehicle.
      4. Personally, I don't think cars should be limited based on status or "high life". Many wealthy people here drive lower end vehicles. A car collector here in the city owns 30 cars from Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's and so forth. He daily drives some cruddy Toyota Echo, with no air conditioning. However, I think if we're bringing in certain cars, it should be automatically the highest level, to keep up with the "high life" theme in a sense. Go big or go home right? I should be able to buy a Civic, because it's a Civic, but the game, to save space and whatnot, should only offer the top of the line Civic SI (Or Civic Type R). Similarly, if Mitusbishi and Subaru are involved, their Evo and STi versions should be in, we don't need the lower end stuff. Move up the scale and the Mercedes S65 AMG should be offered, but we don't need the S63, S550, S600 nor the S400. I use the analogies because we should be offered a wide variety of cars, old and new but there's no need for two or three of the same vehicle because the engine is different...(Some cars have just an engine change, such as the M35 and M45 or now the M37 and M56), but it makes things easier to keep simple. For instance, we don't need the Audi A6 nor the Audi S6 anymore since the Audi RS6 is available! That said: Put the Pickup trucks in, such as the Ram SRT10, HSV Maloo, Saleen S331 and so forth. Just because we have different views doesn't mean something shouldn't be or should be in....I personally don't care for the older cars in this game (muscles or even old exotics), I just don't drive them, but I still believe they should be in for the whole feel of the game.
      5. Charger makes sense haha, I was wondering about the scale with regards to the TT and the Viper that an SUV would be too low...oh well!
      6. http://www.dubdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/ruf-dakara_7.jpg Ruf Dakara or an actual Porsche Cayenne...?
      7. I'm in if that's cool. Gamertag: Ibn Rushd
      8. Ferrari's in. Porsche probably falls out due to licensing issues, if it doesn't...I think it'd be awesome to see them. BMW, I'm not really sure, but I think it goes with Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki about open world racing or something. However I'd like to see a bunch of M BMW's and the Honda Bikes, NSX, S2000 and Japanese Civic Type R. The SLR is everywhere I agree, but one variant of it wouldn't be a big deal, might be useful. I'd like to see one SLR in (Coupe to be honest, I'm not a fan of Roadsters in general) I agree with you also on the long and short wheelbases. Another thing we don't need is the model scale: Mercedes S400, S550, S600, S63, S65.... Just give us the 65 and call it a day kinda deal.
