  1. Good point, didn't even cross my mind. WHAT! How could you, those cow print seats were super cool
  2. I am loving these videos, they answered a whole bunch of questions. I finally feel that the physics debate can be put away now that he played a bit with a standard controller. However I really wonder if this wheel business will get straightened out. I had planned on parting ways with a good bit of coin for a good wheel but the fanatec seems to be having trouble, despite its monster price tag. Running on a 360 also has its available hardware limitations. Also, anyone know any really good wheel mounts.
  3. Well in the newest VVV video in the other thread, I think its 5.1 now, he test drives a car. Obviously their is a time limit on the test drive and when it ends and sends him back to the dealership its an entirely different selection of cars. Kinda odd. Reminds me of the days when you wanted to buy a car on gran turismo 2 and only certain dealerships were available on certain days.
  4. Just a bit of wild speculation here Over in the other thread with the VVV first look videos, on video 4.1 at approx 10:11 he drives past a dealership. The GPS voice informs him "This dealership specializes in used cars, it's also the place you can recover the bonus cars you've won." Now, I am a realistic kid of guy and what the logical side of me says, win a championship, get your car reward here. However a top full dragster, as pictured in this thread certainly sounds like what would be described as a "bonus car" Food for thought.
  5. This is what I am talking about! Super pumped about this game, more now than before. Looks like I can stop lurking.
  6. Here you guys go. This is just, just wow. http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/27/puerto-rican-funeral-home-presents-shooting-victim-on-his-motorc/
  7. I am sorry but, if I am the club president, and I decide who gets the car and when they get the car. I am gonna park it in my drive way and never drive it and leave it there. The view is always better from the top
  8. I don't think we need a bunch of run of the mill trucks, but the obvious rare trucks would be fitting. High life this and high life that, go buy yourself a Dodge Ram SRT-10 right now, its pretty hard. Just because its a truck and just because its not 300,000$ doesn't mean its not "high life". Rarity is also a factor. Since were all beating the "High life" drum, I wonder how many SRT-10's you see in a season of MTV cribs. Dodge SRT-10. New, Ford Raptor. These vehicles would have a place in the game I think. The up high seating position would be nice on a cruise. Also, the Raptor (obviously) is quite capable off road, but its no slug, its quick on the streets too. It would be a nice all rounder for a cruise where you really don't know where you will end up. Top of a mountain much? Just my thoughts.
  9. Now lets get real, a game is not going to promote using a phone while driving, considering its illegal in some states now unless using a hands free device. Thus meaning, you will be using your cars nav system, provided that its has that feature. If not, then you can't call, lol.
  10. 5. So you can take a poop. No seriously. 30 mins to the other side of the map? "Hey buddy just pick me up and head to that place were going, I am gonna poop on the way." Makes tons of sense to me.
  11. Hello to you too

    1. I'd feel comfortable betting my testicles that it wont happen, just spinning ideas around.
    2. Okay okay, don't jump me for this, I know its pretty much blasphemy but hear me out. How about a special reward for when you beat the game 100%. Something really nifty, something that would really be interesting, but wouldn't effect gameplay for others. I was initially thinking a small helicopter. On top of one of your many many mansions. Then I thought that would be a tad to complicated to have adequate controls for. I mean, I don't want it to take to much dev time from the actual meat and potatoes from the game. So I have settled with an ultralight. You know how neat that would be. You obviously couldn't instant challenge someone with it, or any of that jazz. Just something to cruise around in and enjoy the awesome landscape. I think it would be super cool and an awesome motivation to actually beat the game all the way through. We all remember getting into the airport on TDU1 and we all thought of it. Just something small like this, like I said my aim is small and simple but really cool. Lets face it all of us here are gonna beat this game 100% if its anything like TDU1, what better way to motivate the newcomers to the series to stay the course then to have them just see us cursing. Promise you wont flame me? :ill:
    3. I had a different Gamertag back in the day, and yes I meant instand challenege's. I forgot the correct terminology. Yes it indeed is. Thanks for all the welcomes, I was briefly part of the testdrievunlimited2.com forums, and well, they suck. Not a very active place, this already seems way better. I am excited.
    4. The name is Chris, and yes, I used to live upstairs. Long story. Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring and let everyone know that I am super excited about this game. Very very excited. I had all 1000 achievements on test drive, and I know I am gonna be disputed on this forum but I am not in a position to argue about it. For a a short time I was number one ranked in the world on online drag races. Take it or leave it, but I was. Last time I played (well over a year ago) I was rank 224, or something close, I don't exactly remember. I am a really laid back guy, with lots of information to share. Not really in the business of talking smack over an internet forum, although I swear its what some people live for. I've done many many things in my life. Seen many many things, I love to travel. I once drove from Los Angeles to West Virgina in pretty much one sitting. Seen the majorty of America. Ask me anything, I love a good forum. I was an avid supporterof TDU1, I had all the DLC and me and my mates regularly ran around on the island just shooting the breeze. I've had some of my most indepth conversations about life with a nice man from Germany as we just blasted around the island for hours in our dream cars, mine of which was the Ferrari 250 gto. I had over 200 bookmarks and knew all the secrets. Currently I don't have the original version, I lost it in a bad separation with my last girlfriend. More importantly, in the heat of me packing my things, I forgot that game, go ahead, scold me lol. I am a United States marine, never deployed, just a reservist. I also work as a butcher for Krogers, a national grocery chain. I look forward to seeing you guys on the new island, both of em!, and see you guys around to forums.
