1. Sorry if anyone is still looking for this mod, I thought it had been removed and don't currently know of a good fileshare site (filefront no longer hosts files for very long, without downloads) So this mod has been mothballed/abandoned for now
2. for some reason i can't seem to be able to view the link you have made.... which leads me to my next point, why bother putting a link on a wiki page (Mod Database - Test Drive Unlimited 2 Source) when even members of TDU central can not even view/follow the link?
3. i think the huge lack of features and unique game content is what realy ruins this game, let alone the rubbish car handling and unrealistic opponents (opponents that still catch up after slambing head first into traffic) from what i've seen there isn't all that much DLC since the game was released so it will probably be a couple years before this game ever sees any mods as far as people like Diablo would be concerned, as for us who want to see mods who knows? personally i would like to see a "paint any car in the game" mod, i am dissapointed that i can't repaint a farrari (again!!!)
4. The thing that annoys me is that they left all the online mode stuff in even when you are playing with a offline profile, what is the point of leaving all those multiplayer races lying around the islands when the active profile is offline. They still have the interupted GPS screen sitting in the corner, I want to see where i'm going without races and other stuff popping up and interupting my veiw of the gps. Traffic has a weird idea of where your car is, 50% of the time traffic drive into your car when trying to dodge it and i've seen traffic somehow driving in the wrong lane.
5. I called it that coz the engine values are from the Lotus, the car values are from the Dino.
6. Vehicle Model Name [Latest Version No.] Vehicle replaced: Dino 246 GT (or any other one if you know how) Converted by: MLMBUG (Homepage optional) Credits :TDU sounds, No 3d model Would Post an image But i'm sure you know what a normal Dino looks like, for now [image(s)] !!Please make sure to backup your original files before installing this mod and read the included README file if there is one!! [http://www.filefront.com/16932897/Dino%20246%20GT%20%282%29.zip] (Filefront) Requires Djey's Magicmap Requires Dredgy's TDUPE (use import on a car the physics are going to replace(prefurably the Dino)) Mod History v1.0 mod uploaded and released Terms of use: ------------- - The models, skins and other files are for private offline use only - Commercial use of this modification is strictly prohibited - All Registered Trademarks and Copyrights are property of their respective owners Optional Terms of use (delete or leave what you wish) - You are allowed to edit this modification and it's contents for your own private use [if applicable] - Before uploading work by another modder, permission must be granted by the original author
7. what did you install, did you read the mods forum pages? you need to be a bit more specific than just "my game crashes" for propper help. did malakai's solution help?
8. I think this should be stickied in the mods section +rep:thumbsup: just to show newcomers like me how this site is\used to be
9. I'll ask this again WHAT ARE YOU INSTALLING, mabey reading the makers forum might help!
10. Thanks for the welcome:thumbsup:
11. why do you have to dissagree?? If the mod installer is the Djey intaller then you should be able to install the mod on a different TDU installation JUST BY CHANGING THE INSALL TDU DIRECTORY PATH as regedit is more of a hassle (good idea for installing and running mulitple TDU installs though) eg if you installed TDU on d: you just change c:\program files\atari\TDU\ to d:\where ever you installed it\atari\TDU\, simple easy, hassle free.
12. Just fire up any Need for Speed after NFS6 modifiy any car as much as you like and there we go, that's why we don't want car customisation (unless it's factory tuned, like a ford with a ford manufacturer's kit) even juiced goes too far, as TDU is more of a car manufacturers game.
