I love the car, it looks great, I just really dislike those rims. I do love me some stock rims but I know not everyone does haha
I'd imagine it feels like a rolls next to a fiero though :p
Those are actually factory wheels, there is the more "stock" 17" and then the black ones are the 18" performance set. I may buy some wheel spacers because these wheels sit more "in" on the car, not flush with the wheel wells in the way I like them. Then much later on buy some nice summer set of wheels, headlights, front splitter, roof spoiler, and a few other things I might get for the car. I need to install new door locking actuators as well.
And yes, after the heated seats and leather this car is like a Rolls compared to the Formula.

Decided to do a little update on this:
Did some floor repairs, with a hammer as always.
Before (passenger side was nearly identical):
After:
I also have bought new black carpet to replace the old tan one.

Just a little recap for those who know and something that has happened to me early in February of this year, I was rear ended in my 88' Pontiac Fiero Formula on the drive home from work. This is my car after it was hauled to a towing yard the day after the accident.
My insurance considered the car a "total loss", but they did their research and gave me a nice chunk of change for my car, plus I bought the car back to be used as a parts car for my 87' V8 Fiero.
To replace the "hand me down" Fiero, I decided to move on and get myself a nice base model luxury sports car. (import preferred) Hence the title of this thread.
Some specs on my car:
2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe
- 3.5L VQ35DE DOHC 24-valve 280hp/270lb.ft torque
- Obsidian Black
- 5 speed automatic with sequential mode option
- Black interior with heated leather seats
- 18" performance wheel/tire option (225/45RW18 (Fr), 245/45R18 (Rr))
- Bose sound system
- Electronic seats
- Heated mirrors
- Climate control
- Just about everything is powered (windows, seats, trunk, etc.)
- No navigation system
- No digital clock (Has analog clock)
- Traction control
- Sunroof
- dimming rear view mirror
- tinted windows
- Xenon headlights with Halogen fog lights

haha thanks man, I'm hoping it'll stay sealed at least till it has a new owner haha, it's serious fun and you can't argue with the price! by the way what are your plans with the trashed Fiero....it doesn't look like it's worth fixing :(
Parts car for another Fiero I own, but with a V8.

Congrats on the MR2. I've hung out with A LOT of people with MR2s and even though I own a few Fieros, I'm not going to lie but the MR2 are obviously better. Just get ready for a wet leg when that T-top decides to not seal. ;)
-
So is this MR2 Turbo'd or NA? If you got yourself a turbo manual T-top MR2 you have a somewhat uncommon to rare car. Well, depending where you live, I live in the US so I don't see too many MR2 with this combo.

Soo, you bought a Miata?
- killalldude and Carlstone13

Technically yes, two Fieros and the Infiniti. :)
-
 When did that happen?
About within the past two weeks. I was rear ended in my Red Fiero (sig), Got a new car to replace it, plus bought the car back as a doner parts car for my V8 Fiero.
-
Took the car out for an emissions test, car wash, and a long cruise round some parks.
-
-
This car has everything better than the Fiero.

I MIGHT be getting a 2004 vehicle soon, just got to see if I get approval of financing and see if I get a low APR percent on the loan.

This gal ain't no Scarlett Johansson I tell ya.

Yeeeeah with this blonde, I'm more better off looking at the damaged Fiero than her. The Fiero would be less of an eye sore.
-
I hope the young partier who hit me realizes she isn't invincible. I WILL get this car back on the road. I'm overwhelmed with all the support I'm getting for car parts to replace what is damaged.
Soon this will be me:
-
Sorry, I edited the post. And yes, aside from my left leg being a tiny bit sore from it hitting the door armrest I'm okay. Just really stressed out about this as well as a whole bunch of other things that just for some reason are falling into place the bad way. :/
-
Yep... :(
Got rear ended on my way home for work yesterday. Young blonde in a 2015 Subaru Legacy decided to not pay attention and hit me throwing me over a snow bank into the shrubs going around +40mph. Luckily I had the quick instinct to try to floor it to get to the shoulder side of the road and avoid hitting the car in front of me.
Today I went to the lot where the car is being stored and decided to start it up. She runs and drives under her own power which is a major plus. Just have to wait till Monday on what my insurance company's options are on my vehicle.

You must like my Dad's car then.
This "roof spoiler". This isn't a definite decision for the future, but just a thought.
