  1. Since the release of ßeta TDU2 vehicle property editor UPDATED - Page 2 | turboduck forum

We should have a thread where we can share our custom data.

For example my 599 gto is a laferrari, i changed gears to 7 and upped speed, acceleration etc.

This thread can serve the purpose of people uploading the statistics, so we have somewhat similar and realistic car stats for the mods we install.

I don't know too much about the laferrari but here is my settings right now:

    Thanks for making this program.

I don't think you should really care about the car file adjustments anymore, hackers are rife on the game and the people that are found on the maps are just cruising nowadays, I rarely see people racing.

Usually, we have groups to cruise in, so this would affect people little, only the occasional hacker who wants to race an unsuspecting driver.

  3. Well I downloaded the file and listened to it... Seems allright...

But I will explain it to you how to make a Soundmod working:

    1. Take a root file (which has easy basics (at least at the beginning)) such as skyline_high.bnk

    2. Unpack this bnk and look at the sound files (skyline_high.bnk/Build/R8_V10).

    3. There you will find tons of sound files, but just (again for beginning) concentrate on ST_R8_Startup (startup), ST_clk_onhigh (revs), ST_R8_exhaust (exhaust rumble or turbos) AND ST_R8_idle (Idle, low revs)

    4. Listen to the original (at 3. named) sound files

    5. Rename your edited sound files to ST_R8_Startup etc. and paste them into the skyline_high.bnk folder (skyline_high.bnk/Build/R8_V10)

    6. Repack skyline_high.bnk with the .bnk file you want to replace. For example skyline_high.bnk --> xkr_high.bnk etc.

    7. Enjoy!

I hope this little instruction helped :)

    Greets

Yes I know how to make a soundfile, that's quite obvious as I have stated.

I'm asking why the conversion file isn't working.

  4. The file itself is not the problem. In fact, it sounds just fine to be incorporated into other my sound mod.

So I think, the file name is wrong? Or failed to repak?

i repacked it correctly and the file is named correctly afaik.

Let's see what tduchicken says if he checks it out.
