  1. Sorry for any inconvenience. I will investigate. As for the "Speed limitte", yes I think so. --- edit --- The same problem has been posted by the same person (you! :D ), and how to avoid the error is also shown. See here. In the next release, I will try not to report this type of error.
  2. Sorry for the late reply. Theoretical maximum speed can be calculated using gear ratio, tire diameter and engine speed. And, the value of the item "Speed limit" on the "Engine" page limits the maximum speed. The maximum speed when traveling should be determined by either of the above two factors.
  3. I have not experienced the phenomenon that I go offline even though I started online. By which part do you judge that connected online or offline? Is there any misunderstanding around that?
  4. Yes, unfortunately most un-released cars are unfinished. You need to check whether all the values visible in vpe are valid values.
  5. Please double check whether the contents of "TDU 2 Root folder" of "Settings" is correct. The VPE in the folder you indicated with "new error" is ver 3.2.4.0. It seems that there are probably different versions in two places. The file size of ver3.5.0.5 is 5662 Kb. Please confirm, and use properly version. And, important thing; It is desirable to put all vpe's files to the newly created folder outside of "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)".
  6. @Minime891: What specific items did you change to change the tire size? Since I can not confirm the phenomenon in my environment, I would like to verify it.
  7. Sorry, I do not understand the meaning of "the SVR tire size". I tried the tire rim combination # 238, 263, 356, but I could not see the phenomenon of becoming full black.
  8. No, I think there are no bugs.
  9. Oh, I remembered. I have heard that the DLC cars are un-locked in the autopack *.*. @Dziaugsmas, the autopack may make you happy. ;)
  10. It is necessary to purchase the DLC car on this site and unlock it.
  11. So cool.:p Japanese people may smile at that license plate. Because it is saying "Hello!" ;)
  12. I think that it is probably difficult to change the horsepower and maximum speed and feel the result while playing the game. And, depending on the item, there are items that can not feel any effect on playing the game just by changing the value. Horsepower is one of its items. For example, if you change the gear ratio you can feel the result reliably. Please check first from such a point.
  13. Your friend and you should use the same MOD for the same vehicles with the same ID. Or stop using MOD. It can not be modified with parameters that can be changed with VPE.
  14. In the TDU 2 server, all the vehicles are managed by the ID code. That is, if the IDs are the same, they are handled as the same vehicle. "Using vehicle MOD" means replacing the body of another vehicle with the body of an ID. The body is replaced only on the local computer. So, what you experienced is that it happens normally when you use vehicle MOD, I think.
  15. There should be a file called "org_db_data.cpr" in the folder "backup" in the folder where you installed tdu2vpe. Rename it to "db_data.cpr" and copy over it to the game file folder. --- edit --- Using the "RESTORE" button makes it easy to rename and copy as above.
  16. So,,,the file size of db_data.cpr seems to be somewhat different, so I am concerned. I think the file size should be 1192 bytes. For example, if you download Autopack and extract db_data.cpr, you should be able to get the correct file, so please replace it.
  17. The installation folder is OK on the desktop. Is the error message displayed immediately after starting vpe? Or is it displayed when loading something vehicle data? By the way, is the error since ver.3.5.0.5? Was the same situation in the previous version? P.s. Please delete the file called "TDU2vPE_ini.xml" in the installation folder and try the initial setting of tdu2vpe again.
  18. I have not confirmed well what kind of influence it has on online when I change the performance data of the vehicle. It is easy to imagine that if you modify the performance data of a vehicle, the result of online racing can be unfair results. However I do not think that will result in that can not participate in a particular race. I think that you can check immediately if you replace db_data.cpr with the original db_data.cpr to see if the situation you are encountering is due to the result of using tvu2vpe. Pleare try it.
  19. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please give me more detailed information. What version of tdu2vpe do you use? The latest is ver3.5.0.5. If not latest, please try to use the latest version. In which folder is tdu2vpe located?
  20. The following may be misguided, but I think it's worth a try. There should be a file called "DevicePC.cpr" in the folder containing the TDU2 game files. Please try to replace that "DevicePC.cpr" with the original one.
  21. Unfortunately, the gear ratio for the reverse gear data seems not to be found anywhere in db_data.cpr.
  22. There are up to 11th gear ratio data items in db_data.cpr. However, in past experimental results, I think that the data set after 8th value was not reflected in the game. Well,,It may depend on the vehicle to be tested. I will experiment with BMW i8 again. --- edit --- Even in the current version you can set 8th and 9th gear ratio. Please select "Gear_ratio 8" or "Gear_ratio 9" in "All Items" on the "Miscellaneous" page and fill in the value. p.s. Regarding engine type of 2CV; In fact, I can not find any place where the engine type name is described anywhere yet. In vpe, the type name is displayed by checking the value of the item against the in-game display. It is easy to change vpe's display, but that does not make sense, I think.
