  1. yes that is possible, but maybe you have to change the rim files name within TDU2VPE.

or maybe you just have to edit the name of the rims you want to add.

Lets take for example the Subaru Impreza.

In the games rim directory, add the file impreza_wrx_sti_2007_f_02 , without deleting the original file, impreza_wrx_sti_2007_f_01

do you get what im saying or do you want me to explain it better?

sorry if my english is a bit bad.

Yes, I know what you mean by I suspect I'll have to use TDU2VPE anyway to name the rims after doing what you told me. I'm going to try it anyway. Thanks! :)

  2. Man this question you need to ask binbow, because i can't add new rim's for the cars. At my pack have 1 car with added rims because she haven't any rims, but this job was doned by Xarlith. Sorry

I did that already but then I deleted it from his thread because his thread is usually not as active as this one and since you guys work with this stuff I thought you might now. I'm going to ask binbow then, thanks Miktop81 and thechickeneater. :)

  3. Thanks guys :) I was just asking because I run all the games from an individual partition of the HDD to minimize the fragmentation issues. I'm running it in a low spec 2010 laptop (Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz, Radeon HD4570 512BM, 4GB DDR3 RAM), so to optimize the gaming experience I didn't want a 16GB folder (TDU2 installation folder) slowing it down except if it was needed. Anyway, I have a backup of the folder in my external HDD anyway, so no worries ;)

  4. if mitkop81 agreed with my projects i made TDU2 with many DLC, .........................free DLC,

After you guys have finished making the part 2 of the Dream Pack will you start converting new cars for TDU2 again? If so, may I suggest something? The game urgently needs the Ferrari 458 Speciale from Forza Horizon 2 ;)

Після того як ви, хлопці, закінчили робити Мрії Pack 2 ви почнете перетворення нові автомобілі TDU2 знову? Якщо це так, може я щось запропонувати? Гра терміново потребує Ferrari 458 Speciale від Forza Horizon 2. ;) (sorry about mistakes, used google translator)

  5. I just hope they make the driving enjoyable. It doesn't need to be realistic, NFS never was good at realism, but enjoyable. Not like the previous NFS games, where they had automatic drift and total disconection between what you do and what the car actually does.

Agree. I mentioned "realism" when compared to the true NFS's (from the first to HP2), not "realism" literally speaking. As expected it'll be powered by the Frostbite engine again, so it seems this will be another F&F style ricing fest with too much flare. Basically:

  6. And it seems Frostbite willl be back again... if they think "going back to the roots" of NFS is reviving the Underground/F&F era I don't have high hopes for this. Open World is nice but if they want something like the true NFS they just have to take a look at Driveclub and mix real world customization. Even Grid 2 and Project Cars have that NFS feeling with their closed tracks set in rural areas. A mix between urban & rural landscapes, nice variety of cars and real world customization would be the recipe for a realistic "reboot".

  7. @TDUZoqqer: I'm downloading some mods from hfgarage.ru for the first time and I noticed they have some of the mods you have in your personal site there. You must already know this but anyway just wanted to report it.

P.S. Thanks for clarifying. Email sent! ;)

@Rassva:  Traffic only maybe

  8. Zoqqah sent me on an adventure, basicaly I'm a squire now. He wanted to say that he doesn't like when you guys ask for the Siracusa in the comments.

Ok... well, as others did and have commented I also tried to send a PM, if he cleaned up his inbox though none of this would happen. He may not have time to do it but that's not our fault after all. It's understandable that he doesn't want people filling up this thread with requests but people couldn't have guessed that he changed his mind...

@TDUZoqqer: completely understand your reasons and your fear that someone might steal your work but then why have you said previously in this thread that people could ask for these kind of "private"models by PM? Just a reminder: "But when I will import the 458, I will get you guys know so you can ask for it and I'll send it to you. Just like I did with the Siracusa.."

You can do whatever you want but it's kind of contradictory to say something and then say something else implying the opposite. Instead of recruiting Rassva to give us that message you could have told him to just say that you had changed your mind concerning that issue. Wouldn't that have been easier? Also the possibility of someone doing that to any of your released works is the same, the only difference is that those publicly released are converted and the 3D models haven't been done by yourself, other than that there's no difference. Anyway, thanks for replying guys, appreciate it.

  9. I know how to extract them etc, it's just that I can't get my UP version into the TexMod mode, so all UP cars turn into Miami's. It'll run on vanilla, not unpacked. That's the problem.

I presume you're trying to launch Texmod through the Universal Launcher right? If so, is that just your own problem or that's a general bug (people not being able to run Texmod with Universal launcher with UP 0.4 installed)

  10. @Tob-Racer: Thanks mate, already got it :) BTW (Sorry for offtopic) I remember back in the times of tducentral that there were a lot more environment mods in the tdu modshop section and there were a lot of variants of the Island Paradise mod if I'm not mistaken. Right know there's Island paradise pack with Autumn and Winter but there were others right?

  11. ... as I know the majority of Likes is done because the person cannot be bothered to comment.

Yes, that's probably true. I don't know about others, but in my case sometimes you just don't know what to say, I mean, you'll end up repeating what others have already said or you'll just end up typing isolated impersonal words that don't communicate any "feeling". In my country there's a saying (don't know if there's an equivalent in english) that states something like"whoever is silent or whoever becomes silent agrees", i.e. in certain circumstances silence is a positive confirmation/approval and in this sense, to me, a silent "like" or a silent "rep+" speak louder than words. This is how I feel sometimes when seeing the great pics of some mods or the effort done by some users, no matter what they created.

  12. Like = Thanks but not enough to say with a post. (you can of course like and post a reply if the desire fills you)

Reply = Show your thanks and appreciation by taking the time to show it.

Allow me to respectfully disagree with this bit of your personal definition of these two concepts above. To say that a "like" doesn't have the same "feeling" than saying it with a comment (which is implied in your definition) is a bit judgemental as I see it. Sure, when you comment you put your time into it but there's no way to say what's on a persons mind or heart when they "like" without posting a reply. E.g. My point above was that if someone wants to show their appreciation in each topic of 6 pages of threads (example) they will need a LOT of time to reply in each single post, which to me doesn't make sense, unless you have time to do it of course. Personally, in that case I think it would be more appropriate to "like" or "rep+" than to just post a reply saying "thanks" (which you would have to in order to be able to reply to every single thread), which is kind of impersonal in a sense. But as I said, this is just my opinion and personal perspective, hope you get my point.

  13. This, you should totally look around a bit. Moved to Site Issues.

Anyways, yes. Though if you want to thank the modders, why not a) write an actual post to thank them or b) give them some reputation instead which actually shows instead of an anonymous "like" on their profile. That's the actual purpose of the reputation function of the forum.

Look for this button at the left bottom corner of posts: http://i.imgur.com/xnVn33S.png

Ok, thanks for your input and for moving my question to the appropriate section. :) I have given rep to some modders/users already. I will be giving more rep and less likes, that way I won't hit the "like" limit  The "like" function expresses gratitude in a much faster way than commenting on every thread you like, that's why I use the "like" option often. Anyway I don't see how a "like" is anonymous when the name of the person appears in the thread/comment.
