Hi again, it was just a thought on the darker areas - its fine to play and I do really like it !......the grass however is doing away with it drawing in so close to you as you drive along - simply making the nearest setting all 0 stops it doing this and the lets the medium and far distance settings flow in normally, with a couple tweaks to make it smoother and not "pop" in as it used to.
Ive spent hours tweaking the fx.ini for grass and found nothing that would alleviate it as the 3 distances cant be changed, unless you know something about that ?....
Anyway heres what I did to grass and frankly I think it works nicely as you almost never notice it poppin in - of course it still does to an extent but the only drawback is its not as plush up close but it is consistant so.....

Its a mish mash of original and platinum settings kinda ironed out a bit - as I say I spent hours tweaking with all manner of silly numbers and overall this worked nicely....any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated, and again thank you for this amazing mod.
ps....I didnt change anything or use tdumt at all and this mod just worked - the only thing I noticed is the map was a little shaded perhaps - everything just worked as it should ??......all I did was base tdu with carpack and 1.66a then pp then this mod and finally my grass tweaks - oh and put in the 4gb exe and hdu files from the 1.12 patch extras....it just worked !.....and is brilliant !.....
