  1. Lucky guy mike! I'm sure the boys from wrecked exotics will already have read this thread and will be on the scene before you even get there :P

    We're Back!

i'm sure there's supposed to be a 'will' in there somewhere, but considering you asked so nicely... I see two words... looking further I make out that the words are 'Coming So-' Nope, never mind, my Crystal sheep ball seems to have crashed.

This is the best place to find mods because it's the best place to discuss TDU. Not the other way around. We wouldn't have the mods here if we hadn't been the most popular english speaking community beforehand. I'm too poor atm to support sorry Diab
  4. looks horrific to me, that Bonnet looks like one you'd find on the front of an american schoolbus. The side walls are too tall, making the windows look tiny and the finish looks like plastic =/ horrid
  5. This thread needs Bill Hicks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R370YkYhV0w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eresu96T8a0 2:50 onwards... Strong language warning blah blah blah
  6. Rubbish. The only concrete advantage the PS3 has is Disk space, other than that the difference is entirely negligible. If it truly was a powerhouse then the PS3 would have dominated the Xbox just like the PS2 dominated the Dreamcast.

    New Car......Sadly

Remember kids, it's pronounced 'Hi-Yun-Die' not 'Hyun-Day' like you call it over there, it annoys me nearly as much as the whole jaguar vs Jagwaaaaah thing
  8. even if you plan to get a bigger bike I'd suggest getting a 125 anyway in the meantime, cause you save a hell of a lot on lessons, and if you come off it will ultimately be less expensive and damaging to yourself. also you get the instant ability to get around rather than waiting to pass.
  9. unless you plan on riding a lot of long distances and you intend to carry on riding after you get a car I don't think there's a point in a full bike license. there are a few 125s that will get you up to 70+ (albeit with a lot of noise) which is endurable if you only do 100+ mile stints occasionally. The CBT is a day course, and it is essentially a license for anything upto 125cc, so once you've done it you can ride all you like. With my bike it comes upto about this to get up and running: Bike £700 CBT £100 3rd Party fire and theft cover - £250 Tax - £15 MOT test - £50 (my bike is less than 3 years old so i don't have to worry about that)
  10. I would recommend a bike any day, I've been riding nearly 2 years and can honestly say I can't imagine a better way of getting around, it's not for everyone though so i'd say you should do your CBT first to see if you like it choosing a bike is all dependant on what you want it for. Personally I have a chinese cruiser (Jinlun JL-125) because my journeys are either so short speed doesn't matter, or so long that I need the comfort of the big bike's seat. It is falling apart a bit (chinese...) but it is holding up well enough to last till I pass. I wouldn't recommend it if you live in a hilly area or often use bypasses though. If you'e a speedfreak then a 2 stroke like the Suzuki RG125 or the Aprillia 125 is a good bet, but they are rubbish for long distances (noisy, crap on fuel, need 2 stroke oil, will vibrate your testicles off) there's tried and tested tourers like the Honda CG-125 or whatever bike sponge has (Yamaha YBF IIRC) then there's a scooter if you have absolutely no taste...
  11. I haven't played GT5:P but Forza 3 will be a very hard act to follow, one of the things that I'm most impressed with on Forza is the way that all classes *feel* fast, through a combination of brilliant visuals, particularly the environments, engine sounds that really tel you that that small engine is working hard and a really clever physics engine. If GT5 is anything like GT4 it wont have the speed factor that forza does, as I really didn't enjoy slow cars at all on GT4, it was nothing but understeer, horrible, horrible engine sounds and rubbish collision physics
  12. Just wondering what everyone's favorite classes are for racing (both on and offline) Personally my favourite class is E class. There is so much variety in it, and making a good car for the class is actually quite a challenge. There are no real track machines in the class as stock, so there are no clear advantages, meaning that races can be really varied, you get hot hatches like the Focus ST, 4x4s like the rangey, muscle like the Regal, older sports cars like the silvias, and classics like the DB5. Online there can be great races as long as there aren't the GTi MK II n00bs. Making a good car for it is bloody hard though, because the class is so small (only 75PI to play with) and you can't really do anything major to the engine or the car. You always have to push the car hard so you get the excitement of being at the limits of a car's handling, but because there isn't much power to spare, people drive with skill so as not to slow themselves down with understeer/oversteer/grass. My weapon of choice is a RWD prelude, not the fastest car in the world (although it's in the leaderboard top 1% on catalunya ^_^) but it handles fantastically and is hard as hell to crash Simply put, it's bloody fun!
  13. I can imagine it being a proton Gen 2, a daihatsu of some sortor anyone else that makes a cheapo saloon... although if i'm honest, i have a strange suspicion it could end up being a van with windows... as they're very reasonably priced, but laughable in the same way as the others
  14. This is terrible news, condolences to his family This to me is truly sod's law. The fact a bullet could be fired from that far and hit a target so small, that was inside a building makes my head spin, especially from an AK47 bullet (not very aerodynamic) This doesn't even make me think about whether a divine entity exists, but more about the legality of guns. As a UK citizen I could go over there and own 5 guns, even before becoming a full US citizen. My friend recently got a gun license (so he could have one .022 rifle) for here and the restriction was ridiculous, he had to have the police check to make sure his house was secure, even though they had allready been to the house for the same check with his dad's shotgun. strangely enough, over here we don't get death by falling bullets...
  15. owwww, major owww, my stomach kills, way too many spirits consumed last night... eurgh...
  16. haberday!
  17. I like it! it's half enzo, half fighter jet. the exhausts looks like they have after burners.
  18. and logitech Z-10 speakers, which are really good :)
  19. whoever said about the holden - I quite want it, and it is one of the cars I'm looking forward to, It'll be nice having a holden that isn't the race version as they're pretty cool cars
  20. meh, for me that's 3 killer, 8 filler.
  21. i'm glad that Xfactor has been beaten too, i mean, it's just stars in their eyes, but with the nerve to release a record at the end. I wish they had chosen 'All I want for Christmas is you' or the darkness's 'Christmas Time (Don't let The Bells End)' Nether made it to #1 :( I think if they do It next year it should be the darkness though, it's underplayed, has a blatant knob reference in the name, is teh only christmas song with a solo and isn't on sony's record label...
  22. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
  23. OMG I can't believe this is real, if anyone else reads the onion news (parodies that are silly but done in a believable way) they would think that the article above was straight from the onion's press... some people need backhanding... also 'selling unhealthy products'... we do all know that image we see of santa was an invention of the coca cola company don't we?
