  1. love the Lambo ... looks so much more interesting than the Rapide or the Panamera
  2. definitely a front engined Lambo ... pic of headlight, bonnet shut line including bonnet side vent Roll on tomorrow !
  3. For those of you who haven't seen follow the link to Autoblog below for some more teasers of the Lambo ... unfortunately it sounds like it might be pointing to a concept rather than a new vehicle but it's definitely a front engined 4 door car ... as the spacing around the front wheels is definitely for an engine and the new teaser of the rear lights clearly shows the shut line for the boot ... and we should all know what it looks like by the end of this week ! http://www.autoblog.com/2008/09/28/possible-sketch-of-lamborghinis-paris-concept-leaked/
  4. so I'm back from holiday and there's no XBL ... didn't Microsoft get my memo as to when I was away?
  5. Why bother with casting the firing order into the top of the engine ? You're asking Why Lamborghini ... master of being flash ... put the Firing Order there ? I think the answer is ... "Because they can" And the Lamborghini V12 is muted to be one of THE best engines ever built
  6. P-Zero means nothing ... just a tyre ... my Alfa runs on P-Zeros !!!!! (and yes I am dreading the cost of replacing them) As I said the gap between the wheel and the door opening which isn't in the picture suggests it isn't a Murci derivative ... the green Murci shows how close the windscreen post and the front door are to the wheel and I've attached a picture of the Aston Martin Rapide concept to show a 'typical' front engined relationship between front wheel / windscreen post / door shut line gotta be 'front' engined from the teaser ... sorry but I don't think it's your SV/GT you've dreamed off ... I think that might surface next year at a motorshow as a swan song before the Murci gets replaced
  7. Double post for the hell of it ... Lambo are teasing us even more with a new image ... I DON'T think it's an LP640 SV ... why ? there's no shutline for the front door in this shot ... if you look at the Murci the shutline is very close to the rear of the front arch and actually follows the curve of the arch ... also I would place a bet on the engine being in the front based on this shot ... long distance between front wheel and a-post (windscreen post) means a front engine ... ... I'm praying it's got hints of Espada ! The Espada had a slit vent just rear of the front wheel (see my Auto Italia thread) I think the 'edgy' design is the new thing for the whole of the Lambo range ... as in Reventon and LP560-4
  8. Mb - that looks like a quote straight off Autoblog As to the Lambo ... well IF it is an SV Murci I don't think it'll be RWD as I think I remember somewhere it being mentioned that the whole 4WD thing was now part of the Lambo DNA ... I think this was mentioned officially by Lambo in the run up to the launch of the Superleggera Gallardo, which at the time was rumoured to be RWD to save some more weight. As I mentioned in my previous post ... "It's a new world" sounds like a bold statement ... could mean a number of things ... more extravagent (poor spelling I know) ... more speed ! ... a different Lambo (LM002 / Espada) ... or more Enviromentally friendly and it's a biofuel car or perhaps a hybrid ! Who knows ... thankfully it's only just over a week to Paris show ... oh and I'm on holiday from tomorrow so no comments from me for a week and a couple of days
  9. Lambo is NOW rumoured to be the LP640 (Murci) SV which would be the last of the Murcis before it's replaced with an all new car. but who knows ... it's only fresh rumours ! as I said before ... I don't think we'll truely know till Paris Show starts next month
  10. The bike pack is now out for a free download on marketplace Should be online to give it a try tonight ... post 7pm
  11. it's the firing order of a Diablo V12 ... and it's cast into the head of the engine ... cool isn't it ! I took it as I knew Diablo/God/Egg used to have the firing order on his profile!
  12. There were quite a few new 500s on show ... including some with large bodykits ... and LPG conversion ! As to the 'show' itself ... it's an event organised by a magazine called "Auto Italia" ... you can find it on the interweb ... they do 2 shows a year, spring and autumn ... the spring one was at Stanford Hall, was also the AROC national event and had 3 strange blokes turn up at it with some tv cameras ... this one was down at Gaydon and was the main event for the Lamborghini Club of GB ... so next shows won't be till 2009 now ...
  13. Nige ... there were quite a few Puntos there ... mainly modded ... a few Coupes ... a few Pandas (I even took a piccie of them) ... and lots of 500s (old and new) Oh and an update ... the GT40 was original. And one for Diablo/God/Egg/whateveryourcallingyourselfnextinyourextendedstintofrandomness I've asked a few peeps on the Alfa forum if they have a good piccie of the orange diablo
  14. The old Ka was being designed when I started work ... oh the new one is a Fiat 500 underneath ... they're built in the same factory too. The ssangyong takes a few styling cues from the Ford Edge by the looks of things (I think it's called the edge) Porsche ... I just think it's funny they're doing teaser shots when every man and his dog knows what the thing looks like, ok we haven't seen the minute detail but it looks like a badly stretched 911 ... yes I think it's ugly New Lambo ... "it's a new world" ... modern Espada or LM002 anyone ? I guess we'll have to wait till the 1st Oct (which is when Paris motor show is) ... a long time off
  15. Well that's most of my pics ... apart from a load from inside the museum ... perhaps I've just seen too many cars in my time that I don't take that many these days ... I could see if any of the girls, who I know took lots of pics of the cars, have any of the Orange Diablo ... my dad wanted the Black Murci
  16. Oh found out about the GT40 ... the woman who drove it brought it along as her Espada was being repaired ... unfortunately it doesn't sound like the car was original ... but I'll forgive her as she owns an Espada
  17. yeah popped into the little museum too, I won't post any pics here tho of them ... I haven't uploaded them! ... all the italian cars were parked in front of the entrance ... everyone else had to park up at the normal car park ... they were even letting you take your car for a spin round the Aston test track for some quids ... not me tho. so time for some more cars ... What shall we start with ? How about a Countach ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000189.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000248-1.jpg A Lancia ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000240.jpg A Dino ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000234.jpg Some Masers ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000235.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000258.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000236.jpg An LM002 ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000246-1.jpg The 430 Scuderia ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000265-1.jpg And now time for some Diablos and Murcis and a Gallardo or 2 ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000179.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000184.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000187.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000194.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000198.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000196.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000202.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000250.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000253.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000192.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000200.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000199.jpg And now for some group shots ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000259.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000255.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000249.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000254.jpg Remember the lovely Miura ? http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000252.jpg Well it wasn't the only one ! http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000251.jpg
  18. I don't mind the new chat thing ... as long as it doesn't mean the forum is overrun with kids using it to just chat to their mates ... I suppose it 'should' cut down the spamming in thread content ... and I guess as per the 'use home page thing' it'll be a bit faddy too
  19. OK time for some pics of the cars The Lambos all turned up in convoy ... (yes everyone was asking how a GT40 got in there ... but it was original so was sort of forgiven!) http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000177.jpg with a stunning Miura, or 2, ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000182.jpg and including some Lambos people don't often think of ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000186.jpg and some that are VERY new ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000191.jpg and a classic I'd love to own. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000209.jpg Every type of Italian car was pretty much covered, from Fiat ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000232.jpg to Ferrari ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000239.jpg via Lancia ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000238.jpg and Maserati ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000242.jpg and not forgetting Alfa, ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000257.jpg but nothing from De Tomaso, Pagani or the French/Italian mix called Bugatti. And the car I wanted to drive home ... well either the Espada of this ... (and no I don't mean the GT40 again creaping into the background) http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000260.jpg
  20. Went to the Auto Italia Show at Gaydon today ... so here's a few teaser pics to start you off ... for those who don't know ... Auto Italia is a magazine that covers anything Italian ... Fiats to Ferraris etc ... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000195.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000197.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000212.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000244.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p174/Hybrid_IV/Auto%20Italia%20-%20Sept%2008/P1000263.jpg
  21. If you mean the red car in that thread posted by Djey ... yes that's an Alfa Spider ... to be specific it's a Mille Miglia special edition, they're only building 11 of them to represent the number of time an Alfa won the race. Those cars are all 3.2 V6s, running on the same 19s as mine but in dark grey ... and then with black interior with red stitching ... oh and of course the special 8C red paint job ... the paint cost £15k ... yeap you read that correct ... £15k for some paint ... sure beats Ferrari and their £4k stripes on the Scuderia ! ... why £15k ... cos they build the car ... ship it to some bloke, he strips the car back to bare metal and repaints it and then rebuilds it !
  22. ... and there I was getting all excited because of how they hyped it up and all they were doing today was actually firing the thing up and not ACTUALLY slamming the particles into each other at near the speed of light Oh well roll on October!
  23. <yawn> when are they going to bring out an iPhone that has decent Bluetooth compatibility, a decent camera and picture messaging cabaility !
