just got back from a day at Snetterton with AROC watching the Alfas race ... so in the car park were lots of Alfas (obviously) , including an immaculate Montreal ... other cars worthy of a mention are ... an AMV8, an AMV8 roadster, a 308 or 328 (didn't look up close), an XK150 ... and then on the way home blatting down the A11 was a Black GT-R ... yeap I've seen my first GT-R in the UK and it was on the road rather on show going "Hah you can't even buy me here yet"

I have a whole load (2 big boxes to be precise) of 1/18s in my loft ... mainly BBuragos but some others as well The only one I now have on display is the F40 I also have a 1:43 Skyline sitting on my desk at work ... this is from Atari as I won a TDU competition ages ago !

have you noticed what they've fixed the strap to to pull it out of the water ... they've fixed it to the spokes of the front wheel ... don't they realise spokes can't take much lateral force !

I thought the email said something along the lines of it was informing you that an automatic renewal was about to happen in the next few days, so if you don't want to renew it you can cancel it. I had mine a couple of weeks ago ... scanned over it and deleted it so I can't tell you for sure what it said.

I thought when I did a search on Play the 70 quid ones were second hand through their trade section ? So if you transfer the data from one drive to another you then can't transfer it on to another ... so if you change ytour drive and it dies your stuffed so what also happens if you've upgraded your drive and then the bring out the next-xbox and there is the possibility to transfer data sounds like I'll give it a miss!

well i'd buy an official 360 drive that comes with the transfer kit ... should be ok then shouldn't it ... and shouldn't invalidate any warrantee

silly question but is the Beta for PC or 360?

a quick question for peeps ... has anyone done a hard drive upgrade on their 360? I've got a good olde 20G model and about 8G free and was thinking with the talk of the new enviroment and storing games on you HD for faster/quieter access over the DVD drive of upgrading to the 120G drive so has anyone done it? and how easy was it?

So when is it due out? 2009 isn't it now?

Even I'm not old enough to have done O Levels ... as to what I've got I did my Maths GCSE a year early and so was in the first batch for the GCSEs ... so if I was a year or 2 older I'd have done them As to my results ... well I've got 10(I think ... might be 11) GCSEs were lots of Bs and Cs, I've even got a GCSE in Navigation (Air) !!!!! A Levels I got a B and 2Cs ... Maths, Computer Science (when we programmed BBC Micros ! and studied BASIC, PASCAL and FORTRAN) and Physics ... can't remember which the B was in and then I've got a BEng (Hons) 2:2 in Aeronautical Engineering

I wouldn't class myself as an Alfa specialist ... I know Alfas from the 33/75/SZ/RZ era onwards ... no good at the older stuff as ny score shows ... I was perfect on all the stuff I know (sounds like a silly statement writing it like that) ... but anything pre 33/75/SZ/RZ was a guess for me. You are the Brera S. Congratulations! Well I have to agree ... seems as if this car has been around for eons already and it's still a 2010 model ! I think however Toyota/Lexus are still in the lead for the car you've seen for ages but still can't buy ... when are they going to sell the LF-A !!!!! although I think that might have something to do with the times the GT-R, ZR1 and next-gen NSX have been posting on a certain piece of tarmac

Well I can't slam the GM group too much ... got to remember where the underbody of my car comes from ... and also the engine block !

Alfa is planning on coming back to the States ... I don't think the current batch of cars will make it States-side but I think the plan is to start with the MiTo then the 149 (or whatever it may call the 147 replacement as it sounds like Alfa is switching back to names), then the small roadster (off 149 platform), then 159 replacement (2010 rumoured) and the 166 replacement (whenever it surfaces, hopefully in all it's RWD glory!
