I will see who's interested and then decide the best way. It would be good to have PC and console players mixed but I'm not sure if the PS2/PSP version have the same races. So the DOTW options could be:- 360 PC PS2 PSP or 360/PC PS2 PSP

I have a new idea Driver Of The Week to give more variety to the forum for those that like to drive more than take pictures. This will run along side POTW so members can enter both if they want to. The winning time will have a cup to show they are DOTW in the forum. What DOTW is, the fastest time set on a time trial or race event in TDU. The player has to take a picture (for consoles) or screen shot as evidence of the time. The image will follow the POTW rules maximum size 800 x 600 and posted when the player feels they have a winning time. You can change the picture as often as you like before the closing date. But you can only have one post with the picture so you must edit your post each time. This is to keep the thread tidy. The winner at the end of the week with the fastest time can choose the next event. The only rule is the event must be different to the current DOTW event. Please choose I like it or I hate it from the poll and add any suggestions comments.

No you just got to keep clicking on the person's name (in map mode) until they show up. If the servers are good that day it will only take a few times.

You have to get in the same session as the person(s) you are trying to connect. This is not easy with the connection problems TDU has but you just have to keep trying. Once everyone is in the same session (max 8 persons) then you press F (by default). Select the players name using the arrow keys on the num pad (by default) and select lock. Do this for each person or accept their lock if they send you one. Once everyone is locked then you can isolate when everyone is ready.

That's the idea of the sound pack so we all have the same sounds when we go cruising. Ringo nice work on the 575 it's not easy to get the sounds right in a game. That's why a lot of racing games have average sounds.

Great work Ringo I'm now uploading the first sound pack to mega upload. What I want to do is keep adding to the pack and keep all the files in one location. This will be easier for the community without downloading from lots of places and risk messing up the files. Is it ok for me to add any files you make to the sound pack? No the way it's done there can be one person at a time or six you still got to get there. ;) Also the miles will be recorded that is why I added the new rule.

Yes I think you and Mb will be together at a new date if Mb is not going to try it with one hand. :p Important rules update for all to read!!! If no one makes it to the top lighthouse by getting all 5 points then the winners will be determined by the person who did the most miles.

The Skyline sound mod sounds more like a Subaru so not sure it's any good. I can upload it somewhere if you still want it.

Yes the closing date has passed but if this one is a success then I'm sure there will be other competitions in the future.

As I've pushed Diablo to breaking point the spec list will stay as it is for now. The list would take over the screen if we add everything. Just think there is also desk, chair, mouse mat, headset and more so just too many to list. :D
