Rollin in an STi

yeah. it was totally unfair for Japan to get it b4 the U.S. 1 - becuase its a M$ Game Studio game 2 - You would think Japan would be after but i guess if we ever get a chance to race the guys from japan, they'd have a leg up on us... (i cant wait til memorial day weekend is over)

i like DiRT. ive noticed it keps track of the World's best time @ each of the three tracks. that one w/ the STi Spec-C, my best time is 1:09.sumthin, and the world's best time is 1:00.08 i like the Ikler too (and @ one point, i almost deliberatly drove the Exo IX off a cliff. LMAO)

its not really all that straight. it does bend, but its a smooth bend. but if someone were to mark out 440yds (two ppl to drag, one to lined up on the side 440yds away) you would have your dragstrip.im told 440yds is a 1/4 mile dragstrip

thanks for the heads-up Hybrid. i wanted to try this game out b4 i decided to get it. (if the rumors of how the multiplayer racing is kinda like GT HD, i might be turned away from this game)

i feel your pain Marc. there are too many out there in TDU. but hey, theyre good cars. ive had a few 'noobs' try and challenge me cuz of the awkward paint scheme on my S7TT right now. i call it a BubbleGum Pink. LMAO. wouldnt it be humiliating if you lose to a PINK S7? (evil laugh) but seriously, i would LOVE to see an STi in TDU. i would most definitely, along with friends in my club, be racking up THOUSANDS of miles in them. (and of course, i'll paint one to match mine. :D)

yeah, even last night, i went and painted my GTR R34 as close as i can get to that Midnight Purple (i hope its close enough. i'll have to take a pic and upload it onto my PC) but my favorite car would still have to be the RTurbo. Now with over 3,300 miles! :D And i was able to transfer my high mileage Enzo and S7TT from my Capn Wakka game file over to my Rollin in a WRX file. Now that S7TT has 3,850 miles, and the Enzo has nearly 2,200 (and the S7 has gone through 3 different paint schemes since the transfer, where b4 it was almost always yellow on my old game file)

whats really the hour difference from you and me? if your on now, i'll jump right onto my 360. (i know a friend who used to live in London last i talked to her, and london is about 5hrs ahead of me) its 4:17pm now

i feel the same. as i mentioned in my other post under the TDU News thread, i was racing the T440R in a multiplayer race against some S7TT's, Cien's, and Mercielago's, and WON! now, some of the ppl i was racing may have lower skill than myself when racing (i know im terrible when it comes to drifting. ask Nipper. lol :P) but it was fun to hear the reaction of the ppl who got beat by a C-Class car. :D That, and the last race i ran last night, b4 i signed off to go watch Heroes, the host wanted a 'C' class race. so i pulled out the T440R, and smoked them all. :) i guess its a sleeper in a sense if ppl dont know how fast it can go fully tuned. lol its even by far faster than ANY B-Class car thus far, and faster than the Mercielago's.

the Tach doesnt work on the TVR either. but, is the T440R a higher stage of the Tuscan R? i remember the Tuscan R from Forza 1, and this T440R looks alot alike. being from the US, most of the euro cars im not too familiar with.

ive never actually heard what the 360CS sounds like, so i have no opinion on what its suppost to sound like. The TVR, with its power and top speed should have been an A-Class car (did a multiplayer race, and WON! was up against lower skilled players in S7TT's, Cien's, Mercielago's) What i really do NOT like in this car pack, is that the TVR's and the Cien's Digi-Tach does not work. i know it really isnt needed as most of us here use manual, and shift by the sound of the engine, but it would be nice to know When and Where the two Redline. i know some other cars' digital tach's dont work (F1 GTR, Mustang GT-R {cockpit view} for example), but Eden should definitely have fixed this... (as i was leaving the Cadillac dealership with the Cien, i was in cockpit view, and going up threw the gears, and that first bridge going south, i missed and landed in the water. Exactly where GM's crap belongs. LMAO. thats what i was thinking when i noticed the digital tachometer wasnt working)

any idea what the going price is for that thing? considering its an Audi, probably have to dig DEEP....

what happens if you download the car pack your friend's car was in, you'll see the 'secret' car. its kind of a mix between an Audi, VW, RX8, and such. But if you Download the Free cars, i think there wouldnt be a problem

under my 'Capn Wakka' profile, i have an S7TT with about 3,750 miles. and next closest to that under that profile is the RTurbo w/ 1,200 miles. under my 'rollin in a WRX' profile, my RTurbo has just reached 3,000+ miles tonight as i was Multiplayer racing. next would have to be the UN-TUNED Enzo, which has a little over 1,500 miles (want to get it to 2,000 b4 i decide to sell it. Anyone want it? :D), then would be the S7TT with under 1,100 miles

im glad i dont have O.T. lately. i get outa work @ 3:30pm EST. So by the time i get home, im goin to be playing all afternoon&night long (just have to set my DVR to record Smallville) i powered up my 360 this morning a lil after 6am, and it was there, started the download, enabled the 'background downloads', powered down the unit, and went to work. im glad it'll be there when i get home (and the fact that today isnt usually a day i dont go to the gym)

i agree. i looked @ specs for the Slostice/Sky @ saturn, and Pontiac's website, and those things weigh as almost as much as my 2003 WRX!!! :omg: And its a roadster!!

i had a friend tell me they released the update at 0200 hours PST. i wish i wasnt running late for work, otherwise i wouldve fired up my 360 for the update. i guess i'll have to wait til i get home from the gym tonight. (might not get home til 7pm EST. :()

i had the GTR2 demo on my PC for the longest time. D/L'ed it from GameSpot.com. now itsa shame THQ pulled out, but i would like to see GTR be released for the 360
