  1. Not a fan of the R at all, or any R tbh. That C roadster is rather nice though.
  2. Anyone here been keeping up to date with Salomondrin's channel? I've warmed to him and a lot of his content but it's becoming increasingly apparent that there might be some sort of backhanded deal being done between him and Merc in LA to get airtime on his channel. It's getting a bit crazy now :hmmm: I don't think he's being transparent about it at all which is annoying. They basically turn up at the dealer and take whatever car they want for the day....... I think being suspicious of this agreement is okay.
  3. I hope that .avi is insincere. It seems everyone really enjoyed TGT, it's getting great reviews from everywhere but.... you'll guess where.... the BBC  You couldn't make it up. The Grand Tour review: Clarkson returns in 'filmic' show - BBC News That BBC editor is criticising TGT for the Holy Trinity portugal scenes going on too long....... WHAT. He obviously wasn't a big TG fan nor is he a car fan so why have they put him in charge of that review. Own goal.
  4. Very sincere, can't you tell by my use of '4' as a substitute for 'for' and the actual concept of me hashtagging about praying?
  5. VW have announced they'll be cutting 23,000 jobs in Germany between now and 2020 to save money due to the emissions scandal. Between this and them pulling out of some Motorsports... they seem to be hurting quite badly. Volkswagen plans 23,000 job cuts in Germany - BBC News #Pray4VW
  6. Trivia for you: as with some episodes of TG, this series of TGT has been directed by Phil Churchward, none other than Vicki Butler-Henderson's husband. She a cray cray woman, shame she couldn't be incorporated into the show.
  7. So this starts at 0:01 am in the UK tomorrow I think, meaning those nocturnal people among us will be watching it tonight :)
  8. So Mercedes have given a bit more information about their upcoming hypercar, confirming that it will have around 1000bhp but definitely no more than 1200bhp with numbers limited to 200-300 units. My only wish is that the Merc hypercar is released roughly the same time as the AM-RB 001 so that we don't have to wait too long to compare the two, just like the P1/918/LaFiat were quite close. I wonder if Jaguar are regretting not going through with the CX-75 now that all these cray cars are being developed.
  9. What model Panamera would you have? Would you have the upcoming shooting brake variant or stick with the sedan due to already having the RS6? :hmmm: Interesting list though, thanks for sharing :)
  10. So if it turns out to be crap or average or whatever i'd imagine those who have to wait until December will either not bother, or simply not bother to pay. Bit of a risk.
  11. Lol @ the key on that Maybach, I mean, some (not all tbf) manufacturers try to disguise that you can get the same key on a sub £30k car as you can on a £300k, but not merc! That's a rather nice looking car from Alfa right there. Will there be a manual in the slower versions in europe or is it the 8-speed across the board? Aston have updated the Vanquish, this is now the Vanquish S, I'd presumed they were getting rid of this for the DB11 but obvs not  images from Top Gear | The world’s greatest car website
  12. At first I was confused at the need for it to be some fake SUV thing but that is what sells and it's basically a hatchback in all but name. I like it, good to see Jaguar doing something innovative.
  13. So it's a bit more bling and has better seats, perhaps an engine improvement. Nothing too dramatic :hmmm: I quite like them wheels (i presume it's them, or a similar kind) on the Sedan, I didn't think I would, but I'd choose them if I were buying one.
  14. I'mma put my hands up to you DJ Khaled, a great win. I didn't vote for it myself as for some reason I wanted something stunning rather than fun but it does deserve to win :D
  15. A) Old thread B) People's tastes change all the time C) New cars have been released in the past 5-6 years D) Would it kill you to play along? :p
  16. I mean, i'd be happy with your garage Tom if it were given to me but that BMW? Really? And I absolutely love the RS6 but it's too safe a choice in this fantasy world, in that i'd own it without giving too much thought into it haha I've changed my Porsche 917 to the Eagle Speedster. I wanted a convertible car in my 5, but I wanted my DBS to be the Coupé.
  17. 1. Daily Driver: Ferrari GT4 Lusso V12 - Dat V12 - I love the looks tbh, though I know not everyone does. - Practical? :ytwh: 2. Optional Chauffeured Car: - I like a good drink, and would be too wealthy to bother with Uber - I prefer this to the current Phantom/Ghost - Not this exact spec, but still: 3. Weekend Car: Aston Martin DBS with Manual Gearbox - The sound - The looks - Drive from the UK down to the Riviera, who'd want anything else? 4. Softcore Porn: Eagle Speedster - 5. HARDCORE PORN: Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale I think i'd build a house around this, it'd be in an air conditioned glass box. It's stunning. Unsure if i'd go for the gold wheels or not. ***SUBJECT TO CHANGE ONCE YOU ALL POST YOURS*** (I'mma steal your ideas xo)
  18. LS swap is just a bit to cliché for me though, as amazing and practical as it would be. Something exotic but modern would be the line of thinking i'd follow, if the new Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio wasn't a V6 i'd probably want that, but this deserves better than a V6.
  19. White Testarossa? You just know that it has an amazing history don't you.
