Printed pattern shirts can be great but they're also extremely popular among certain groups at the moment meaning if you buy one from Topman, River Island, Next etc you're very likely to bump into someone at a big party, in a club or a bar with the same shirt on which to me is like the end of the world :susp:. Though Farah isn't that big sales wise so you're safe to wear one of their printed shirts. I quite like the cream version of that shirt but it'd be difficult to match something to it, it wouldn't go with everything. Perhaps a navy blue Blazer, and brown brogues.
  2. It's half way through November so I think it's almost acceptable to talk about Christmas now. It's Thanksgiving for the 'Muricans among us in a few weeks so that's good too! What are you doing for Christmas, what are you hopefully getting, and do you have any cool gifts lined up for other people?   5. Can't go wrong with Extras, Curb, The office, Seinfeld and Frasier off of your list. Definitely the second best list in this thread after my own :cheeky:
  6. Couldn't agree with you more, if the humour made up for the lack of any actual acting, then it might be okay, but the humour is shocking. I don't mind Lee Mack on panel shows so it's not even something against him.
  7. The Good Wife: The main thing with this show is consistency, it's always been amazing, it started off great and the quality hasn't dipped. It manages to be Adult without going down the nudity, sex, excessive language or gore/violent route, it's a mature show but manages to be extremely entertaining all the time. Great acting too. The West Wing: Also a consistently amazing show. Very serious and dealt with quite heavy topics, but always managed to find a sense of humour or not be too deep too much so that it was too stressful to view. The Jackal, need I say more to those that have watched the show. Sex and the City: Easy for a straight male teenager to think EWWW, but it's so entertaining while at the same time, it was quite a pioneer in its day, it was quite important in bringing topics to the masses that hadn't really been discussed that much in such a big way. It's a guilty pleasure at times and not something everyone will enjoy but I've always wanted to be Samantha since watching it. Gossip Girl: I got into this show when I was going through some difficult times, and watched it with some amazing people, so It'll always be held close to my heart. It's just so entertaining and hilarious that some of the more awful storylines can be overlooked. House of Cards (US): Amazing TV show, Kevin Spacey is amazing in it, as his is on-screen wife. The writing is amazing, the acting, the production too, it's very much a pioneer at the moment. It's politics, which to a lot of people would scream EWW, but it's god damn entertaining. Friends: I'm quite glad I started watching it when it was still being broadcast, it's just a nice thing to say for someone my age as I know not everyone my age did catch on before it finished. It's just so easy to watch over and over again. "DID SHE GET OFF THE PLANE?!" should say it all. The Newsroom: It has to be on this list simply due to how brave it is, it's by the same writer as The West Wing, and it shows, It's not held in that high regard by some people, but I get where the writer wanted to take it, and I think it's brave in tackling events that have actually happened rather than invent something which is much much easier to do. Game of Thrones: The size of the cast, the amount of storylines, the amount of nudity, the amount of violence, everything is in excess but it just WORKS. 30 Rock: Hilarious show, hilarious cast, mostly Saturday Night Live people, It had a fairly long run of episodes which I'd recommend you to watch if you haven't already, it's so much fun and it's so addictive. Brothers and Sisters: An odd choice, very serious, not always entertaining to watch, but it's a very good show in learning life lessons, it deals with cancer, death, family issues, individual issues within a family, it's heavy storyline after heavy storyline with much happiness surrounding it but it's a very good show to watch and to mature while watching it. So many TV shows that could have made the list, i'll probably post a list of other TV shows I love later on in here too.
  8. Great show. Possibly the funniest show around. Oh dear god the horror :p Very Niche show but I don't regret watching it, definitely a guilty pleasure, you know it's not like, amazingly written when watching but it's entertaining so who cares. Great show, I always try to catch the repeats on Channel 5 in the UK when they're on.

  12. I was following the progress and the talk around the mission on twitter today while at work, I didn't get a chance to actually watch anything to do with it though unfortunately. Very interesting step for mankind indeed.

  17. And I can see why, this is what I meant by comparing them to frankie boyle, ever since GTA IV they seem determined to be more shocking and cross lines. Which is absolutely fine for me, now, but I'm not sure it'd have been great for a 10 year old me.

I like the Caddy and the Audi, great cars though you're paying a lot more than you think for that Armour plating, the new Escalade looks 10 years newer than that one, not the 3-4 it actually is :p The problem I have with the E class is that the exterior facelift has made it look really fresh, but the interior looks really dated. On a convertible posing car like that, the interior should not look dated. I can't wait for the next E class conv though. The toyota, meh, nah, cya. And MrLlolololol, very interesting list of cars, you chose to give your wife a fair amount of your money and probably my favourite car on the list :lol:

  20. I'm not going to blindfold them and keep them in a wifi-free zone :susp: I just think there are steps you can take between the two extremes being discussed here.
  21. Anyway, back to the discussion: I agree with what you mean about GTA 1 and 2, definitely a lot more harmless than the subsequent GTAs due to the simplicity and how far from reality it seemed. As for actually scaring children, I'm not sure, I think it softens them to it more than anything, same with GTA and war films, it slowly stops the blood and gore becoming a big deal.
