  1. iQ. A much more innovative and creative solution to the same problem. And it makes you sound smart saying it! :p
  2. This is a toughie. I really do like both. I mean, yes the Caterham is supposedly brilliant to drive (and i can somewhat agree, having driven the Caterham-alikes in Live For Speed), but I still can't resist the lure of a 427ci V8 in the Cobra, even if it will spend all its time trying to murder me... I suppose the ideal solution for me is if Caterham stuffed a V8 into the 7. Oh hang on...
  3. Here's my entry: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/IMG_4270edit.jpg A bunch of kids running around and having fun on a rooftop (7 storeys up) in the middle of Phnom Penh in Cambodia
  4. Defender. The Wrangler has a bit of an image problem... *koff*queer*koff* Anyway, to be fair, in the vid CMM posted, we don't know how fair the race actually was. You can see where the Escalade got stuck, who would try to drive up some banking like that when there's a perfectly good trail ahead of you? I'm not disputing that the Rangey is a better off-roader, as well as a better car all around, but that video probably wasn't the most decisive bit of proof. After all, JC is from Europe, and is quite anti-American so obviously he'd give the American cars a tougher time right?
  5. Wow. Some of those HAWX shots look really real! I'm amazed how realistic looking that game is
  6. Someone once commented that when a black man becomes president of the United States, pigs will fly. Sure enough, 100 days later, swine flu
  7. Rangey. Less bling and ostentatious as the Escalade
  8. RX-7 because it's more powerful and more of an icon of '90s Japan
  9. I don't think anyone here is questioning your opinion, TSS...
  10. Ford. Ferraris are too predictable and common, however good it may be to drive
  11. Reminds me of JC and Hammond doing the same thing with their ZR1 and Challenger... Gosh that's funny!
  12. That's because most of us here can't drive yet! :p
  13. Wow... That building looks really dangerous...
  14. Or you can use Picnik.com... Anyway all the entries are looking good right now (apart from HTF's :p). TDU66, your's is really quite hit or miss with regards to the theme, but i suppose it can be accepted, on the grounds that you don't find street lamps and traffic lights anywhere else than in an urban environment
  15. Best rush in a proper car so far? I'd have to say having a ride with my uncle in another uncle's Alfa 146 when we went back to Malaysia for our Chinese New Year family reunion a couple of years ago. He knows I like cars, and he himself is a minor petrolhead, but even then I was completely taken by surprise when he just called over to me while I was standing outside the house looking at the car, and really casually said, "Come on, let's go for a spin". Well when he said "spin", I had no idea he actually took it literally! We didn't actually spin or crash, but that was the craziest drive I had ever been on a public road... Shifting at 5500-6000 rpm, shooting past Protons and Peroduas at 150kmh (almost 100mph), on a single carriageway no less! Was definitely very scary and as a result of that, a huge adrenalin rush. If I could do that all over again, I definitely would, scary as it was. To this day, my mum doesn't know what exactly he got up to on that day, but suffice to say she'd rain hell on her brother for driving so recklessly :D And it wasn't even his car...
  16. Well we had bikes so i don't really see why fighter planes can't be included as well... And the person who started this thread only said "motor vehicles" so, yeah any form of self-propelled vehicle should be fine (and I know a jet engine technically isn't a motor, but let's not get technical alright?)... As for my choice? F-15. It's name is simply so much cooler
  17. Wow. You have an uncle who had an Integrale and a 037? Amazing! Any pics? :D
  18. I personally do agree with that, it's just that Speedtouch and Koeni didn't seem to... The enforcement of the date of the entry certainly contributed to the lacklustre response PhOTW has been getting recently
  19. To be honest, for this week it really doesn't matter when the photo was taken... Alright I suppose some form of limit must be in place: Any photo taken in 2009
  20. Here's a new one! This should be tough for you guys: Lancia Delta Integrale or Lancia 037 For me it has to be the 037. How often do you see such a low, dramatic, supercar shape doing off-road rallies? I also love how it basically stuck two fingers up at the 4WDs starting to enter its world and gave the final hurrah for RWD rally cars
  21. This thing leaves me absolutely speechless. A mental V12 engined Quad with no chassis? Wow. Although I have absolutely no idea what they mean by that. They bolt suspension and axles directly to the engine? That can't be right...
  22. Couple of nice entries guys, although HTF, i don't think yours fits the theme.
  23. I've got plenty to post here, oh boy do i have a lot... But i'll just start off with these 3 which i'm sure you'll agree with me: Also, shall we agree not to post anything in here that has already made it to production? Otherwise this thread will be flooded with cars that we can otherwise see on the roads (like the Toyota IQ or Fiat 500 etc)
  24. Celica. I prefer the sharper styling as well as the 189bhp 1.8L (8200rpm!) they put into the T-Sport, which still sees service today in the Lotus Elise and Exige
