The entry level was crappy enough, but the A-Level in fact has enough momentum to render you brainless in mere seconds. Good luck to all the chaps taking this horrible burden in the years to come. Anyway, there were a few stuff here and there that I honestly enjoyed studying. The Physics A-Level was pretty interesting, and so was the (oh God I can't believe I'm saying this) Mathematics A-Level... specifically the Mechanics part. I mean, I never got bored of making fun of the Elastic Potential Energy equation (modulus of elasticity x extension squared) / twice the original length. It was, still, equally nice trying to brainstorm an answer to a differential equation every now and then, or try to understand the logic behind the complex numbers. What the hell are you all looking at? :P

Well it's hard to time it yourself since you need to align the car out of the high speed turn while stopping the stopwatch, so you might want to give the stopping the clock task to somebody else while you do the driving.

I was thinking of timing laps around the Oahu Raceway and comparing the different times each car will score. All cars (except the unmodifiable ones of course) are modified using Stage 3 kits. I tried my extreme best, driving several laps and choosing the best time. So most of the times here mark the extreme top of my Test Drive abilities. Of course, there are people who are better than me but that doesn't mean I shouldn't go on with this now don't you agree? :P As you have probably figured, this is a solely for fun project. I have tested all Class A cars (except the ME four twelve), Class B cars (except the Shelby concepts and the W12), and about half of the Class C cars. I will add more and more times as I test more cars. You'll probably ask how I timed the lap. Why, with a stopwatch of course! The start/finish line is the shadow cast by the pedestrian bridge at the location marked on the below map. Press Escape, go to Options > Controls > Driving (or whatever is in the last tab) and switch the transmission to manual. Remember to turn off Auto Clutch as well for it to be a proper manual complete with the clutching part. Yeah, when it comes to colours there are definitely better people to consult than ol' Captain Slow lol.

You most probably know where I'm going with this conversation. :P So yes, time to bust out my Ferrari F430... Yes, yes, the Spyder version. It's supposedly slower but who cares? Martijn and our other friend, fuelmyfire, won't be flooring the gas since we have to stick together and smile for the camera. Oh, and I need to repaint it to match May's ridiculous colour, but again, it's just some change compared to what I've got. >_> I mean, how hard can it be? Wait, this isn't a challenge...

Well now that leaves me with the F430! MWAHAHAHA! Since Martijn and I will be in class B cars, I think Fuelmyfire has to leave his Zonda unmodified while the Ford GT and the F430 get a Level 3 performance upgrade. While both of you waste some time disengaging the clutch and shifting, I'll do it with the glory of Semi-Automatic! :P

I was compiling a little FAQ of mine made up of testing each and every car on the Oahu Raceway, their times, etc. I have tested all class A and B cars up till now but I still can't get my hands on the ME Four Twelve. I just need one for testing, then you could have it back (though a permanent sell would be greatly appreciated). Mileage doesn't matter either. I'm ready to pay anything up to 9 million papers. So, any offers?

Speaking of convenience, I don't think I'll make it unless you guys delay it an hour (to 3 PM GMT). Something's popped up and I'll only be free starting 3 PM.

I'm not a fan of the Lotus Exige (I prefer the Europa for some reason) but to be honest... damn. It handles BETTER THAN THE ELISE. I was doing some practice laps yesterday and I am just impressed. I was easily capable of catching up to a Maranello even without upgrades (despite the 575 being more powerful). You could go full speed, approach the first turn in the circuit (clockwise) and, without touching the brakes, shift down twice, hold on to the clutch and take the turn in an out-in-out manner, and IT'LL DO IT! Try that in almost ANY other car and chances are you'll be off track. Remember the hairpin part? I can tackle it at a MUCH higher speed with the Exige than I can do it with A STAGE 3 ENZO. You got my bets on it. So Exige it is. Brilliant car, except they should consider giving it more muscles on the straights. The aforementioned Maranello just BLEW away the Exige in the over-a-mile semi straight part of the raceway.

Heh I've raced too many noobs that I've lost count. Here are a few I can remember though... I was driving a stage 3 Enzo against a stage 3 Mclaren in one race. I was ahead of the guy by MILES, literally. Out of nowhere when I'm nearing the top speed of the Enzo the dude overtook me at a much higher speed (I could figure he was faster by at least 80 miles or something). Now here's the problem: 1. If I'm going at 240 mph in the stage 3 Enzo, he won't be that much faster even in a stage 3 Mclaren. Say he'll be faster by about 10 mph considering TDUs physics. How did he get the extra few numbers is beyond me. ...and, 2. How the hell did he make up for the distance when I was a long way ahead is also beyond me. There are also some weird things that happened to me, like when I cross the finish line and it doesn't count for some reason, making me lose the race and an accompanying $10,000. I wasn't even offroad, I was perfectly on the tarmac and crossed the line before my opponent, but the game just stood there and apparently didn't detect it. A few seconds later my opponent comes in and takes the victory. And loads more, but to be honest I don't remember any others... After all, if I keep bothering myself over those I'll just end up becoming psychologically disturbed... :P

I made a little video tutorial on how to get into the Raceway... Basically you back up to the start of the turn in the road leading to the Raceway, slam the gas and try to aim at the flower bed to the right of the entrance. If you do it at enough speed you'll be catapulted over the barrier and into the raceway. Make sure you place a bookmark once you're in to avoid the hassle of doing all that again. I'll post a video of it as soon as I can.

Hmmm... nice. I'd like to join then. Sadly my save file got corrupted for THE SECOND TIME now but I know a way to enter the raceway without being a Champion. :P
