To tell you the truth I liked TheScottishSpotter's Countach image. Exactly the right amount of saturation for my preferences and he captured it at exactly the right angle to emphasize the reflections on the glass/car. And thankfully, none of the cyan-looking sky crap people here seem to love, it's an exposure artifact people, it makes the game look like San Andreas' hidden Liberty City (in other words, crap). It makes images look less photorealistic than they already are... The Lamborghini logo on the building looks out of place to be honest but the image's merits outweigh its flaws. If I were to use a new wallpaper from TDU (which, trust me, I won't) I'd probably use this. Plus, you can't go wrong with a Countach. :p

Now that's a unique way of helping, "oh why not ban him for a few hours, it's not like there's a dozen other websites he could sneak up to". :P Joking aside, good luck w/your exams mate, don't forget to tell us how it went.

I was trying to think up a quick username to re-register on GameFAQs and I instantaneously thought of snowboarding... someone crashing down a cliff and off the border (of the cliff). Then I just converted "the" to "da" to hide the fact it took me ten seconds to come up with the name. Yeah I know, you want to kill me now. :p ODB is the abbreviation. Back on GameFAQs on the prerelease NFS Most Wanted (I believe) boards some guy decided he needn't bother to type down my full username and went for the initials. Lo and behold, every single creature I know over a bunch of wires and a screen now knows me by nothing but the initials. Only a long while later on I realised those same initials also denote the unthinkable... Border is another abbreviation, but is much less common. Odb8492, my TDU ingame username, is the aforementioned abbreviation plus 8492, the designation of your antagonist squadron in Ace Combat 5, specifically from one of the toughest missions in Ace Combat history, "8492". Then there's X-49 or X49, which is essentially the designation of a prototype aircraft from the Ace Combat series (specifically Ace Combat 3). No, not the US' sorry excuse for a high-tech chopper, but the boomerang shaped fictional hypersonic plane with lasers mounted on its forehead. Oh, and sorry for bumping an old thread, felt like ranting a bit. ;)

The ME Four Twelve. I like the car itself, it's just that it's simply intolerable in this game. It's like driving on flat tyres with a SCRAMJET engine bolted to its bottom. And the interior is horrid. Great for photo ops though. So I guess I'll go along with everyone else. It's the SSR.

Well Atari decided to screw us fans by delaying the patch further. But hey, we'll get a crappy little car called the RS4, and an even crappier car named---I think I'd better shut up before Skyline fans kill me to death. :P We could've been better off with more powerful cars, the Murcielago Roadster, the Countach, the 599 GTB, and the Koenigsegg CCR to name a few. But we've got the RS4, and the, bow chicka bow wow, Skyline. Sure, they're free, but it doesn't mean we should just eat it up like nothing happened. We've been waiting for quite some time now, I think the least thing Atari could do is give us some more anticipated cars to play with. I'll agree with Stinger on the hardcore mode part. While I wouldn't mind fixing the existing light cars problem I would also like some random mode where they keep the paper plane physics. It never gets boring trying to see how high will the Lamborghini Gallardo SE fly on a seaside bump or a mountain cliff. And, Please oh please put in the Carrera GT... I mean, COME ON, Forza has Porsches, and it's not too late to acquire the licence from Porsche.

It's a brilliant car, but in my humble opinion the title of the most beautiful car on the planet easily goes to the Carrera GT. Combine that with the increased practicality and jawdropping performance, and other supercar manufacturers will have earned themselves a dangerous rival. Sadly, it's out of production. Why oh why. And... WHY ISN'T THERE A CARRERA GT IN TDU AGAIN?

No no, the car isn't hideous of course, it's a work of art. What's hideous though is the paint scheme I'm trapped with. :) Oh, and as for traffic, I think it would be... unnecessary. Except perhaps in that scene where the "presenters were joined by a man on a bike" according to Clarkson, in which some dude in a Ducati 999R should pop a wheelie between the Zonda and the F430... There ya go, another position to fill. :P

Why oh why weren't the bonus cars a Countach, an RUF or a Testarossa or maybe something like the Veyron. Or better yet, BMWs and PORSCHES! If they want an Audi so badly they could just put in a proper one, the LeMans Quattro or the R8, and for a Nissan they could put in the R390 Road Car. I mean, A SKYLINE AND AN RS4? These are the least two cars I'd want in the entire game.

Maths? Not at all, though it needs quite a lot of brain capacity. It doesn't need much studying aside from knowing the rules but it does need a HUGE amount of practice, especially to get the hang of some of the integration problems. But overall if you have a good set of gears in your head doing the thinking and practice solving lots of different sorts of problems, you're pretty much on your way to an easy A grade. In fact, IMO, the Maths is one of the easier A-levels to get an A in. As for Physics, it is a bit tougher than Maths. A-level Physics basically takes what you learned from your Maths A-level and builds up on it. It needs the solid brains required for Maths and combines it with the need for good studying capacity, so yes getting an A grade in Physics can be a bit hard, especially in some parts concerning the Operational Amplifier and perhaps the Photoelectric Effect. You need to be a bit of a hard worker, but when compared to say, the harder A-levels like Chemistry, Physics is good to go. Let me point out that the Maths and Physics combo is a really good one. Both support each other and so you won't have to stretch yourself in different directions when studying for your exams. So yes, I'd say go for it especially if you're a Maths braniac.
