I'm definitely not going to get a PS3 if it bounces around, makes weird noises, emits a strange smelling ooze after a minute or so and then goes into a sleep mode. My 360 just purrs like an old Tom cat.

I have to do that with mine all the time! Disc or no disc. Its even worse when there's no disc... i spend ages prodding the ray in a vain effort to get it to open. Then when i get a disc in and close it, it reopens a few seconds later. Open, close, open, close, open, close... Good times. COUGH*virgin*COUGH Surely a comment like that deserves a Nugget award. :excited:

Played it (albeit rather breifly) and wow its a pretty game and great sounds too. I was expecting a bit more though. DiRT had me hooked as soon as I satrted playing, this just seems a little lack-lustre. Not on my to buy list.

The Sentinel is my favourite since GTA3. Especially with the 'Mafia' body kit. I found one in Alconquin yesterday, but it got stolen along with my SuperGT outside my house.

I was trying to get the longest wheelie achievement a couple days ago and finally found the nice straight section of road in Alconquin. Lifted the front wheel, feathered the throttle and weaved in and out of the traffic. Its soo much more rewarding than in PGR4 I knew i had to go further than 500ft, but when i past what i thought was that distance nothing happened. so i kept going and eventually ran out of raod and had to stop. I then realised you have to land to get the achievement :o. I checked my stats out of curiosity and found that i travelled nearly 4kms. And that got me thinking that we should hold some comps for the wierd things like that: Longest wheelie Longest stoppie Longest time on 2 wheels...etc

My local Game and Gamestation had sold out the 360, but had full shelves of the PS3 version.

Found this on GTAgaming forums Not sure if many people know this, so sorry if it's old news So it turns out that there are two endings to the game. Do as it says below to experience both. "The game has two endings, and after a mission called That special someone... save your game on a new save file. This way, when the game splits during the next mission providing you with two possible endings, you may reload and do the other ending. Each 'ending' has three unique missions to itself, so if you don't do this, you miss out on three missions, and the other ending. You can of course replay the game to see the other ending, but this may help you save time."

I dive out of a car during last nights TDM and tumbled head first into a lamp post. Awesome way to go, even though i didn't mean to.

i was only there for twenty mins and had to duck out to spend time with my wife. Looking forward to the next event and killing Baldred some more. Any of you guy splaying on Friday? i have the whole day off.
