Well, I'm going to get it as soon as its out... and i will get the overpriced limited/special edition. I do think FM3's LCE was a good deal though. Extra tracks/cars and a fairly steady flow of custom liveries/tunes... and don't forget that little crown by your name. Never race online but am always in the tag hoppers...have a lot of fun in there.

Lots of weirdness with that teaser, but like MB has already said there are some positives that can be gleaned from it. Not sure how Kinect will enhance the experience. Its great for playing with friends but I can't imagine how it will work well with a racing 'sim'.

I know others have said so before but T10 really have lost it now. First they release the Stig pack, but only to buyers of the Ultimate Pack (and a few who have won codes on stupid lottery comps and their forums/twitter). And they give a sample car of another pack thats also only available to said Ultimate buyers. Then to keep players away from GT5 they announce the Community Choice/Jalopnic II pack thats full of crappy cars (cossie excluded) and one that will no doubt cost way more credits than 99% of players have (250 california) As Diablo said in another thread, why is there no Gallardo LP560/550? to name but one car missing from FM3 car list... every other car game of the past year has had it

Not driven the standard Gallardo in FM3 until today... switched it to rear drive and its beautiful. So got a Balboni livery for it:

I quite like it... and am sure I will grow to like it more. My only opinion/concern is that the design doesn't feel as unique anymore. It feels just a bit generic to all the other forums. :o

Thats a horrible thing to say! :lol: Although I can't stand whit cars now... especially if its a Toyota/Lexus or Nissan. Lexus and Nissan Patrol drivers are worse than BMW/Audi drivers in the UK. :rolleyes:

Tried to put GT5 in my Xbox today, for some reason it didn't play though... I thought PC games could play on any system. Got bored of trying so bought a Miura in a game I know works well :p

They wouldn't be creating anything new though. The models will already be created for and in the game so chances are it will be more of an unlock coding (just like hot coffee) Anyway were talking in "what ifs" here really...

:) I know why they offering pre-order bonuses to attract sales at each retailer... but thats such a short term strategy. Even Microsoft don't use that... the closest I've seen is in FM3 where they offered bonus vehicle liveries for pre-orders. If they give away some of the best cars exclusively at the beginning, then we all know from experience how messed up that can get. I've had some food now and another G&T, so I've decided to get TDU2... but its still such a disappointment to see such a short sited strategy from Eden that will (as yet) not reward the long term player.

Wow, i wonder if anyone at Eden understands marketing at all. :confused: I often just read the TDU2 news threads without posting, but this time I'm pretty vexed. Almost considering not buying the game at all just because of this pre order crap. If I spend my money on a game, I want the opportunity to access everything (even if a buy DLC) and not see other players with different than me. Especially if there's a performance advantage. Keep the playing field level so all results are based on skill and nothing more. If I pay extra for a special edition, then I deserve the benefits because of the finiacial outlay. But just because I live somewhere else and ahve to buy from somewhere else, doesn't mean I should have to have anything different. Regional and shop differences is almost prejudice. :eek: I will get from GameUK if I do. Only because they're the only place that will deliver PAL games to the UAE. Would much rather have one of the Astons, than a Veyron though. Fair enough I might be in a grump because I've not eaten yet and because I've had a G&T, but alot of opinions in this thread are similar to mine ;)

That list is getter better all the time... but I'm really starting to hate the sheer number that are exclusive to pre-orders. Especially because after a few days/hours the PC market will have cracked the game and everyone will have them. Hopefully like the FM3 VIP pack they'll all be available as DLC after a few months. At least that way the devs can get a bit more profit eh. :p

Glad to see Schumacher didn't get decapitated... bet it scared the crap out of him though, for a second anyway. Great to see a British 2-3... such a shame that Vettel only won because he got lucky coming out of the pits. If that didn't happen, then result would have been completely different. That and ferrari screwing up their pit tactics to block Webber. It did all make the race quite exciting though. I was laughing so much watching the Emirati stewards trying to sort out the wreck and then clean the track. 2 brushes between 4 guys. Typical. I bet they've never worked so hard in their lives... seriously. Normally they'd be standing there shouting at 20 Indian labourers to do it.

I really hope that Massa can get ahead of Alonso so Ferrari can have a second try at coming up with a better excuse to get Alonso past... :) Hoping that a similar thing will happen between Webber and Vettel, but Webber will become enraged and drive into Vettel. Meanwhile Hamilton will have destroyed his tyres, so has to pit for the tenth time and Button's wing will have fallen off because McLaren used some discount glue bought from Maranello. Schumacher will win and run over Ben Collins on his victory lap! :)
