  1. At long last. The final XBox 360 exclusive DLC has been released! [/url] Will post some thoughts later. Although I already know that it will be epic, and much better than TLaD. Am quite glad I haven't received my FM3 copy yet because I really wouldn't know what to play first...
  2. Very nice Mb. Still waiting for my pre-order copy to arrive. So all these thread are pretty darn annoying ;)
  3. Haven't bought or played them all... plus Octember's not over yet. TDU2 might come out in a couple of days ;)
  4. Got is a few weeks ago and have hardly played it. The lack of career mode makes it really hard to motivate myself. Plays well enough, even though the PSP controls are a little fiddly for this kind of game. Like all GT games it does look good, but the beauty is only skin deep for me. Wish I hadn't downloaded it because this would be a game I'd take back and exchange pretty quick :(
  5. I have it on an old 3000 so as long as you have a memory card big enough it will be ok. The new PSP Go, just has no UMD drive, but a bigger memory.
  6. Just downloaded the game last night. £30 and a 600mb (ish) file size. Only done a few missions so far, but my first impressions are good. It looks much smoother than the DS version and the control system has transferred well. It feels much nice than the old topdown GTA games. The graphic quality is very decent overall with zero lag (that I've noticed) and no aliasing problems/clipping, like in the other PSP GTAs. I've never played the DS version, so all the missions are new to me. Seems like its going to be a good story. I'm impressed that Liberty City is very similar to that in GTA4. Nice game, that I'll be playing for a while. :)
  7. just discovered the email (not in junk folder) came in over 2 hours after i was able to get the update. Yay M$ :excited:
  8. I'd go with the LCE too. Don't forget the access to the VIP auction house as well as the extra cars :)
  9. For all those who entered: :)
  10. I got no email, but mine updated a few hours ago. Facebook is pretty cool, but limited only to status updates and photo's. No way of wall posting or even sending messages. :( Not tried twitter yet or Zune... edit 1: Zune also looks pretty decent, although from what I can make out its almost exactly the same as the XBL movies section... oh wait it has a few more categories.
  11. Hope you have a wicked day matey!
  12. Hmmm give me a choice between a 60's supermodel or a 60's olympic shot putter. Easy: DB5. :)
  13. You're right, but the Viper is still just another Viper. Granted its a new model but the 430 is a whole new car. It might have similarities to the 360, but all the good stuff from the 360 has been kept and the bad stuff (psycho handling) pretty much removed.
  14. The giveaway is open to anybody with an Xbox Live ID, and the five prizes will be awarded as 1,600 MS Points, enough to purchase The Ballad of Gay Tony for download the day it's released! The entry form will be closed on Friday October 23, 2009 at midnight Pacific Standard Time, and the five randomly selected winners will be announced later that day. Good luck all!
  15. The 430 scud wins this by a mile. Better in pretty much every way imaginable. At least its not based on a design thats over 15 years old now... how many more will they do before people realise that? I guess the states have always been good at propaganda eh?! They did win Vietnam afterall ;)
  16. Thx twm. Applied for this earlier today. Will be interesting how well they can integrate facebook :)
  17. A measly 1600msp :o
  18. AM Vantage (they're all nice) Rangerover (the current supercharged sport is my current fav') F40 F355 McLaren F1 Lambo Countach Lambo Gallardo Ford Focus Golf GTi/R32 VW Transporter
  19. source The shots make it all look pretty exciting. There could well be some awesome messing around to be done in LC soon
  20. I'll admit its always nasty when you get done yourself. The closest I've ever come to anything like this was riding my bike home from the pub one night when I was working in Uppminster. Some pharqwad kept his full beams on on and forced me into a ditch on the side of the road. TBH I would have preferred to be wet as the ditch and nettles therein really hurt.
  21. It is a shame that's illegal in the UK now. Imo, people who stand next to puddles like that fully deserve to get soaked. Over here in the UAE its even better. When it rains the road flood because there are no drains. I've splashed quite a few people last winter, some by mistake and some (i'm not ashamed to admit) quite deliberately. Even better are the idiots who drive around with their windows open because they can't see through the tint when its wet. I got 2 of them last year, we laughed so hard. :o
  22. OOO nice one. Have you still not found the Forza Motorsport forum though? ;)
  23. Yep :oook: Bohemia have not created any sequels and cannot either. Just because they've used the same concepts and similar tech, doesn't make the Arma games a sequel to OF. Thats like saying Call Of Duty is a sequel to Medal Of Honour.
  24. Please don't state your opinion as fact. Sure alot has changed since the original game, but codemasters are a very reputable dev'/pub' and I believe have done a pretty decent job. Its also not a mistake to use the OF name, if anything its a well played marketing tactic. If Codemasters own the rights to it then they can do what they want with the name. IMO its more of a mistake to let it lye in the pits of time. Bohemia were at one point supposed to be making the OF sequel but never actually got that far, so well done to the newbies for actually pulling it off.
