could anyone suggest a set of rims that would look good on my black Saleen Extreme Coupe? :) cos the original ones look really awful :cry:

actually i can drive the ME4-12 well. i use sport mode on the driving aids. but its almost impossible to do the same with the S7. i agree entirely with Lwsbrck that it feels arcadey. there isnt anything for me to like. and what i really hate is the fact that almost every race has saleen S7 in the global rankings at number one. tbh if the saleen is so good then why do all these S7's at number one have times of 0:00.02 and the like. if it was a good car, with a point, they wouldn't need to cheat to get it to the #1 spot. as i said its not that its only good at going in a straight line that i didn't like, its that Atari gave it a race ON TWISTY ROADS when its only good at straight line speed. i say this because in the Saleen Day race you have to tip toe around every corner until the last straight otherwise you spin off or hit a tree.but by the time you're on the straight its too late because the AI knows exactly how to drive it a exactly whats going to happen next. this means it can calculate the perfect speed to enter exit and the perfect amount of steering input required to make the S7 go round the corner (even if the corner goes over the brow of a hill) perfectly with no correction of steering and throttle/brake needed to 'floor it' on the straight. also with regards to N1PPER, maybe the people who use the S7 on mountain tracks are the idiot 12yr olds who ram into your car for no reason. whoever they are, they probably choose the S7 because they like the looks, IMO only a mother could love something that ugly. :) hope some of that makes sense.

atm i don't care what anyone else thinks but heres Ringo's Rant. IMO the Saleen S7 is the most pointless car ever built. it doesn't steer, it doesn't have brakes and looks awful. its only good at going in a straight line. which makes me wonder why the hell Atari put it in TDU, especially with a race of its own on twisty roads. not that i'm a crap driver because i've seen a lot worse than me, but its too difficult to drive on both HC and normal modes. even with the driving aids set at sport. i get almost to the finish line on that race then for no reason i can see the back wheels spin at 120mph or something and i lose it. crashing into the houses and trees on the right of the road. 5 times in a row this has happened. :mad::mad::mad: such a crap car i've never seen in a driving game. even in Gran Turismo with the TVR Cerbera Speed 12. that had too much BHP for the steering and tyres and even the suspension was too hard, even when adjusted. even that wasn't this bad. i was ok with not being able to complete the race as i'll try it again some other time with more patience. BUT i'm sick of 12yr old idiots who constantly ram your car and think they're michael schumacher driving the Saleen S7. i'd only just come out of the Saleen race after not being able to complete it :mad: when an idiot hits the side of my car.... Deliberately!!! its sooooooo annoying!!!!!!!:mad: and end of rant.... sorry but i felt i needed to let off steam. thank you.

I downloaded a 30 day trial of photoshop cs3 and i've done a dead simple license plate to start with if anyone wants it :P just thought it might look good for you mafia guys perhaps :) Scarface Dollar (Download)

if you keep holding the lights button down, go into the options menu and click the headlights thing to change which button it is. keep the button held down until it says "waiting for neutral" then release the button. if done correctly and on a steering wheel or controller (haven't tried on a keyboard) the lights should turn off when you press the button. hope that makes sense :)

Camaro Rims. Black perhaps? erm i dunno if there are already any black or darker Camaro rims around but if not could someone do a mod for them? i use those rims on a lot of the classic muscle cars, for example i've got them on the GT500, the Firebird, the Camaro, and i did have them on the corvette69 for a while. i'd be real happy if somone could have a go at them please.:)

just wondered what everyone thinks is the most evil looking car in TDU. post up a pic of the car. to create your 'evil' car you may use any mods at all :) the thought struck me when i did this to my pontiac firebird.:D

THose were THE BEST TDU VIDS i've ever seen awesome!!! love the Volle Rooaa one and vol. 2,5 the best. fantastic drifts with the skyline looks awesome nice colour too :P

if its not too much to ask could someone create this plate for me please as i dont have photshop and always get something wrong when modding because my PC crashes or something :P anyway... if its not too much trouble?

i'd say get the MC12, mainly cos i collect 1/18 scale cars and i have the other three so.... meh. which ever one you like the best so long as you're willing to pay for the quality it doesn't matter. i collect more classic 1/18 scale cars like aston martin DB5 and e-type Jags. also i have a Ferrari 250 GTO, and a Lamborghini Miura. in total i own 34 1/18 cars and 5 1/18 scale motorbikes

mines two tone pearlescent. if you look close its blue and purple (blue can be seen under the bumper and grill)

hmm i listen to metal, rock and occasionally Matt Munro, On Days Like These (intro music to The Italian Job 1969) whilst driving the miura. mostly rock and metal tho. but none of this new crap. just older stuff like Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Black Sabbath, The Who, Blondie, Aerosmith, The Stranglers, Buzzcocks, T.REX etc. that sort of stuff. i must admit that when i play a really good track my driving improves dramatically. for example i was drifting without music in a GT500 and i was doing ok staying on the track (ohau raceway), but i then put Pinball Wizard on and suddenly i was doing huge drifts. then when the song had finished my driving went all to pot, again. so i'd agree that different music gives you a different driving style.

voted Andreaz, love the Charger and the Bluey lights. cool license plate too :P

small note the data for the Spyker C8T (i think) acceleration is wrong its supposed to be 3.7 seconds but the table says its slower than the 300sl at 37seconds 0-60 time. i assume its a posers car :P

first one. i like miuras :P and it doesn't matter about night mod now cos i've entered something else but thx anyway andreaz :D
