Does the plot revolve around a specific car?/Does a certain car fill a big role in the movie? If the answer is yes to either then it's probably good. This is my entry post. It's Christine. :D It's a good example of what I was going for when I thought of the theme. It's not a car movie in the same sense as FnF but the whole plot revolves around a 1958 Plymouth Fury. There are quite a few cars in Forza Horizon 3 alone that would fit the theme well.

Try challenging the drivatars with the higher rewards, IIRC you get about 50K for one race.

Mine still crashes pretty much all the time. You had my hopes up Djey until I realized that that's the version of the game I already have. :p I read though that AV can interfere somehow and since I changed from AVG to Avast it seems online mode at least works most of the time. :shrug:

More like plain luck. Tons of people have massive issues. Turn 10 didn't develop Horizon, Playground Games did.

I know? I was saying it feels like the worst port since GTA IV or maybe even worse than that and that they've done zero optimizing on it.

Well no they've already released one patch stand alone and there better be more coming fast. All of the bugs make the game literally unplayable and it's not even consistent. I honestly get a different behaviour from the game each day, new symtoms have developed and some old ones have gone every time I (try to) start the game. The PC port feels like a Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V from Xbox One that no one thought of to test before releasing. It's a joke that's not even funny.

Spent quite a few hours these last few days driving around exploring the map wanting to discover all the roads. I expected to get some kind of recognition even if just a text pop up when I finally did but literally nothing. :lol:

New game update coming tonight containing - hopefully - the performance and stability fixes a lot of players have longed for, including some other things: Forza Motorsport - Forza Horizon 3 October 14 Update [edit:] "Tonight" for some, 7PM Pacific translates to 2AM GMT or 3AM UK time.

I managed to get 4 photos before the game crapped itself completely. I hope they fix it as it does look good.

Back to unplayable again as the game has decided to just randomly close itself after a few minutes of playing. No crashing or anything, it just closes as if someone pressed the X up in the corner. I know I'll keep trying but I should just give this a miss until some patches have been released.

I have no idea why but the game ran much better today. :D Could crank up a lot of the settings and still get about the same framerate as yesterday. Still get some strange crashes and stuttering though so can't wait for the performance patches to come. No to wrap my head around the LHD traffic so I can stop crashing.

Finally downloading :wait: :toetap: Downloaded and... it crashed before the introduction scene was over. *tries again* [edit 2:] Figured out the game chews up all of my VRAM and spits it out as soon as I start it. Feels like there is some optimization to be done here. Managed to get the game started at Low preset and it is currently using 2.7/3 GB. Doesn't bode well so far. [edit 3:] It's really bad. 50-55fps at Low preset at 1080p. They better get optimizing quickly.

Well yeah but buying a new Wi-Fi module for you laptop might require you to tear the whole laptop apart to get to it, replace it and then put the whole thing back together again. That could be a bit overwhelming if you've never "PC wrenched" before. You'd also likely void your warranty. I don't know which is better from a performance stand point, I don't know much about how they work. I don't even know if you'd see a difference as playing over Wi-Fi will always have issues.
