Same, 600W. It wasn't TOO loud, but it was a strong smell.

I love Impreza GFs, there are some pretty powerful Time Attack ones out here too. A WRC Impreza GF would be pretty cool too... It would be a great mod, but a lot more people prefer the sedans to the wagons, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I blew my PSU a few months ago and it did the same thing. Not really a bang, but a loud pop and a burning smell. Hopefully it's just the PSU that's blown; that's all it was on mine (luckily).

I wish I could say this surprises me. A permanent drop in the speed limit on motorways would cause endless amounts of problems for businesses; commuting would be terrible. 10mph difference doesn't seem like much, but when you consider that almost every person who uses motorways to get to work leave home in the morning at a set time to get to work at a set time, this would just cause more problems than it would fix. It may also cause people to resort to routes on A roads and other smaller roads to get to work and cause even more traffic problems around the country. Seeing as they love to do so much research, maybe they should research some common sense next.

2009 Pretty boring year - California/Arizona in the summer was great (as always), I had a lot of fun there, but I had to chance to visit San Francisco as well and didn't take it, so I'm a bit annoyed about that. I'll do that next year instead. - JTS @ Silverstone was good this year as well, but I'm a bit annoyed that I didn't get out to more events, and really annoyed that I missed JapShow this year. But I'll definitely do that next year. - I haven't done anything special this past year. I abandoned all the serious hobbies I had last year, so this has been pretty boring. I've got up, gone to school, came home, sat on the computer for a few hours, had dinner, went to sleep. That never altered in any way (except the odd night out in the city), and it's a boring routine to be in. Resolutions for 2010 - Take this next hobby seriously, and devote a lot of my free time to it. - Take all my subjects seriously (especially Latin). - Spend as little money as possible. - Go to JTS again, JapShow and Flame & Thunder @ Santa Pod. - Go to the Symbian Expo in Berlin. - Go out more. - Visit San Francisco (if I manage to get out to the US again). - Get a shoulder bag and take my camera and mini-laptop everywhere.

Why? Just because they aren't as fast as you've been, it doesn't mean they're not fast. ...Because this is the "Best Driving Experience" thread. If you've had a good driving experience, this is the place to say it. If you went ~340km/h on the autobahn, by all means tell us, because this is the place to do it. Again, if you enjoyed it, tell us about it here. Don't act like it's bad to brag about you're enjoyable times in a car, because that is exactly what this thread is here for.

Here's my desk: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- X360 is hooked up to the monitor, and so was the PC, but as I haven't used it for ages now I nicked the DVI cable and now I dual-screen the Mac on the monitor. And the amp isn't hooked up to the two rubbish Creative speakers shown; it's hooked up to a pair of Canon S30s on top of the desk (can't see it here) and (most of the time) my Technics RP-DH1000s (shown hanging on the tripod). Soon to be a completely clear desk to make room for a new set of decks and a mixer though =D.

Ah, I need to get back on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle soon =D. Chao's were so fun, I was so happy when I finally got my devil chao to fight with :D. Got rid of the GameCube since then though, so now gotta train all the chaos again on the Wii... I also had a few on Sonic Advance, but that was a lot more strange.

I don't see how having money spent on you equates into you not understanding the spirit of christmas. What a truly, truly stupid thing to say. I would understand if somebody was complaining that they didn't get as much as they wanted, but to my understanding, that post was aimed at everybody who got expensive things bought for them, as if they were in control of how much they got bought for them.
