Thank you for your comprehension. 2. It does make a difference, it's just very gradual. Although I did get caught out doing a takedown mission in my streeet spec Mustang which now around Car Level 500 - it's suddenly a lot more tail happy when accelerating out of corners.
  3. Missions don't really pay much. Despite losing the medals can you continue the story where you left off? If yes I'd avoid redoing them until you get to Level 50 when you unlock the Platinum medals. One cheeky way to get away quickly in the Ford GT40 event is to go back onto the speedway track and do a few laps.
  4. The idea is that you copy the example text from that thread into the new file, test, and then tweak parameter values one at a time. <ExtraConfig FFB_Factor="1.5f" FFB_LoadFactor="1.0f" FFB_LoadPower="1.5f" FFB_LatFactor="1.0f" FFB_SlipAngleFactor="2.0f" FFB_CamberFactor="0.1f" FFB_CamberOffset="2.5f" FFB_DamperFactor="0.2f" FFB_DamperMaxRoll="1.0f" FFB_DamperMaxRollVal="0.1f" FFB_DamperMaxSlipAngle="0.25f" FFB_WaitRate="1" FFB_SpringNoControl="0.25f" /> Dev suggested tweaks for High Torque (i.e. expensive Fanatec / Thrustmaster) wheels to reduce FFB on bumpy surfaces: <ExtraConfig FFB_Factor="1.5f" FFB_LoadFactor="1.0f" FFB_LoadPower="1.0f" FFB_CamberFactor="0.1f" FFB_CamberOffset="0.5f" FFB_SlipAngleFactor="2.0f" FFB_LatFactor="2.0f" FFB_DamperFactor="0.2f" FFB_DamperMaxRoll="1.0f" FFB_DamperMaxRollVal="0.1f" FFB_DamperMaxSlipAngle="0.25f" FFB_WaitRate="5" FFB_SpringNoControl="0.25f" />
  5. Here are some extra wheel tuning suggestions from the devs for PC users: WHEEL GUIDE - Force FeedBack Extra Tuning PC Version | Forums
  6. Time to get the PC version :) Every time I've played this last week there's always been at least one or two friends on. I've also done some random co-op mission with decent guys.
  7. Best way is to get into a PvP lobby, turn off collisions (if/when you are host), and you can make 8k+ regardless of where you finish every 5 minutes. That was in the Midwest lobby, the other ones might even pay more. If that sounds a little boring, then do it with your friends/crew.
  8. Well even though I've nearly completed the story I still can't afford the LaFerrari, for example. What makes this whole situation sting even more is that once you tune a car from Full Stock to Perf or Circuit, the top speed is artificially limited. i.e. all Perf cars have the same top speed on road. So we may as well just stick with that tuned Mustang or Camaro that we purchased when we started the game.
  9. I've played for 18 hours and have 430,000 Bucks. Not purchased any cars. Have done a few faction missions and 9 PvP races. Up to Level 41. I've spent 16,000 CC on extra perks (was going to later anyway, so better to do it now while I'm still doing missions).
  10. These are rush exports (literally 3mins before bed). There is more footage but it was very start-stop for most of the night. This video was more just to document the meet for the feelz later - something regrettably not done for TDU1.
  11. Must have good wifi over there
  12. This isn't just a little money though, and unless you take 2 weeks off life to grind you're not going to be able to afford more than a couple of high-end cars the old fashioned way. Actually, even with 2 weeks off I don't think you'd have earned 2mil to blow on a small selection of supercars.
  13. k den, beep your horn like this if you've typed something and not had a response
  14. After our nice relaxing (and slow) cruise I was invited to redo a fast faction mission with :gdance: and I sucked so bad.
  15. Something is better than nothing - in the beta there was no way to communicate with people if they weren't in your Steam/Ubi friends list, and that method was highly disruptive. The big problem is that with no notifs is it's still potentially impossible to communicate with randoms if their chatbox is always hidden. Maybe we need to come up with a universal horn morse code that means check the chatbox. A small blinking icon to indicate new messages would suffice, short of an option for a classic TDU1 style text chat.
  16. The game hasn't been out a week :baghead: And it's heavily server-reliant.
  17. ^Which platform? I'm at level 37 and besides one phone call when I first start the game, I don't really get nagged at all if I go cruising. You can get ~8000 bucks per PvP race and much more for the longer Faction missions. I think I've got around 250k atm. After repeating one mission multiple times to set a WR I did end up turning off the speech audio.
  18. btw post your feedback in this survey which the devs will see: The Crew - What the community want ! Remember, if you vote Now for everything you may as well have not responded at all - let them know what is most important to you.
  19. Hopefully The Crew ends up looking like that
  20. oookay, Roberto In free-roam I think I've seen a kick option for free roam. Otherwise just hit the map button to ghost out before someone hits you. When you drive around in circuit spec cars the free-roam police cars are much faster models (i.e. Corvette) - nice throwback to the original NFS MW.
  21. I forgot to mention @Harley I gave a friendly kick-wave to your rat-tail Supra friend last Thursday morning as I rode past
