My point is you have chosen two topics to my knowledge and on both occasions they have been subjects where you know you have a particularly good shot, not against the rules but not something I would actively do. Like the N ring. That was a reference to choosing a subject that not everyone could compete in, like me saying "Photos of London only". It has since become Snow/Rain which gives the leeway. I dislike you? No. I'm just not a fan of people choosing subjects because they think they can win again, rather than because the subject allows variety or interpretation. Say for example the theme was dark, light, orange, distance etc. That would allow a really wide choice of interpretation for people and allow them to enter regardless of where they live. I'm happy to take part where I can or want to, the eye rolling smiley was likely a result of the predictability of the subject you chose. Nothing more. Don't be offended, you can't please everyone.

The numbers are the focal distance covered by the lens. 18mm is fairly wide without any really noticeable distortion, 55mm is a small level of zoom. 50mm would be a lens with a fixed focal length of 50mm, otherwise known as a prime lens. My 18-200 is by far the most useful lens I own.
