    heatsink? if its the stock Intel one then change it. amount of case fans? if its less than 2 120mm then you should consider buying more. make sure the case is clean + tidy. take a picture post it here so we can see. also make sure the h/s is seated properly and is making full contact with the cpu

    get a new CPU cooler mate the Intel one sucks, the case probably isn't up to holding a system of that spec really

    62 degrees on an E8400 :O mine runs at 52 at 100% load and thats at 4ghz you need to either re-seat your cooler or get a better case with more airflow. whats your full rig including case and amount of fans ?

    put the side back on. that usually has an adverse effect. buy more fans? reapply thermal paste to cpu and buy a better cooler

    simple reason: multipliers, you can overclock more with the same fsb to keep your memory in its limits. not sure if its worth £200 though

    they will both work but youll need more power for both if your looking for more power just overclock that baby. your E8400 should be able to keep up in most games, the Q6450 is just 2 E8400's stuck together

    hopefully it will run well with the physics on the cpu cos if it doesn't i don't fancy buying a 8800gt just for PhsX
