  1. I don't think you can delete a topic. A post, yes, but not a topic. Iced, please delete this thread for Maplecars. -Leadfoot
  2. Cool, now we'll have two generations! -Leadfoot
  3. I'm working on an Aston Martin Vantage N24, but I've run into a few problems. I have looked into making the windshield logo myself, but I don't understand the files, and I think it would be better to let a more experienced modder do it. This is what I was trying to get: Thank you to anyone who does this! _+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+_Also, I have a question about wheels. I have tried replacing the Ford Mustang Concept wheels (I'm going to try the RGT's wheels next) but when I replaced the .3dg, .3dd, and .2dm files within the .bnk, it made the wheels in game have lines on them! What do I do to fix this problem? -Leadfoot
  4. I was looking at the files, and I think I might have to work my way up for this one. So I have a request: _+_+_+_+_+_+_+_+ Would someone be willing to make a decal for the Aston Martin V8 Vantage's front window like the one below: This would be much appreciated - I'm working on seeing what I can do with the interior and finding matching wheels. Thank you so much to anyone who can do this!:) -Leadfoot
  5. You are awesome! WOW! FANTASTIC! Can't wait for you're next car. -Leadfoot
  6. Same problem as TDU.:( But with many mods, it uses a seperate game launcher to launch the modded version and the normal one. -Leadfoot
  7. Oh yeah, I forgot about that... Thanks! -Leadfoot
  8. MUSTANG GT: ZModeler mod, you'll have to ask around. Something to do with the textures. FORD GT: Custom Paint shop. -Leadfoot
  9. I was trying to make an Aston Martin Vantage N24 (using matching wheels, that downloadable lights mod, and some interior mods), but I was wondering what file I modify to get exterior windshield decals? Is it the "glass.2db" file, or the "glass_g.2db" file (in AMV8.bnk)? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! :) -Leadfoot
  10. Nice pictures! :) I like the first one (Enzo). -Leadfoot
  11. Amusing car... :oook: But, in terms of modeling, fantastic! I was wondering what you'd choose to do next. Nice job! :) -Leadfoot

  13. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- I have SO MANY GREAT NISSAN PICTURES!!! I can't choose, rrrrgh! This one isn't the best, just some have a weird contrast, wouldn't look good as a banner, etc. It drives me crazy when I have multiple pictures for a que (however you spell it)! -Leadfoot
  14. Thanks! I was waiting for this for my R8! Thanks so much! :) -Leadfoot
  15. No problem! I would assume so... Like for getting the guages to say "GT-R" instead of the default (it should be possible...). -Leadfoot
  16. I'm an STi person, but that EVO looks FANTASTIC! AWESOME WORK! Can't wait for the first download of any one of the models! -Leadfoot

  18. *sigh* I've known about the Civic Type-R practically forever (even though I live in America, I keep up with worldwide automotive news), I still think that it should slot in above the Si in the American markets. I mean, come on. Compare the two: Si: Mugen Civic Type-R (UK): :( But, for TDU, any one of them would be nice!:) -Leadfoot [mod edit:] Please do not post images larger than 800w x 640h or more than 350KB in filesize, use a thumbnail or a text link instead, thanks!
  19. I can't see the picture/s... -Leadfoot
  20. Looks great! Can't wait for the release! -Leadfoot
  21. Do you have the two copies of what you replaced it with (ie, this and the original dealer both have cars)? And how, officially, do you enable it? Nice job, though! -Leadfoot
  22. Basbas is keeping this one a secret... http://www.knight-driver.com/ (scroll down) It's from GRID, or the GRID demo at any rate. -Leadfoot

  24. -In the TDU Modding Tools, there is a ".2db to .dds" converter. Select the file that you wish to switch. If you have Photoshop, continue at two steps ahead. If you don't, keep reading. -If you don't have it already, download GIMP ( http://gimp.org/ ), and then download the .dds plugin ( http://registry.gimp.org/node/70 ). Place it into Program Files/GIMP/Plugins (I think), or wherever GIMP is installed to. -Go into GIMP and delete the black spots. I suggest using the Magic Select Tool and clicking on the black spots, then using the eraser tool to more freely erase them, without worrying about erasing other stuff. NOTE: I'm not sure about this step, because you may need to match the color of the window itself. -Once you're done, export as a .dds, and then go back into TDU Modding Tools and change it back to a .2db file. -Use the .BNK repacker to replace the original, and hopefully it'll work. -Leadfoot
  25. The layout of both interiors are basically the same, it probably just needs to be say "SRT8", if it doesn't already. -Leadfoot
