  1. Apologies in advance for the utterly random rubbish that I've uploaded: http://www.youtube.com/user/GTAMADDOG
  2. No standard iPhone 4 :( Looks like if I want to play GTA III again I'll just have to install it on my computer. I remember when a friend brought his PS2 and brand new copy of GTA III over and I instantly wanted the game more than anything else. Good times.
  3. Shouldn't have come in this thread. Wish my Xbox worked :( Great shots.
  4. Probably my favourite Metal instrumental.
  5. Nifty Fifty time.. Nifty Fifty by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Quick test: iPhone 4 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Probably could've done with cleaning the phone screen up first but nevermind.
  6. Almost a couple of years ago now, I remember watching this in college and wondering why I hadn't heard anything about it. Probably the most exciting thing to happen around here for a long time. Guy ended up crashing just up the road from where my nan lives :p Just a shame you can't see him for the most part.
  7. Love this album, it's very useful when I'm struggling to get to sleep. Properly relaxing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3e6G_YNO0Y
  8. Washed (again), then clayed and polished the old girl (car) today. Paint feels a lot smoother in places and it seems like the worst contamination was on the sides. There's that much contamination on the bottom half that I think I'll need to have another go with another clay bar at some point. I decided to miss most of the bottom half of the car out of the claying process because it wasn't doing any favours for the clay bar. Polished and de-swirled as well. So now besides claying the bottom half I am done* *might get the Wonder Wheels out at some point. :p
  9. Haha, nah, the MK6 is well out of my price range. I don't know which era of Golf Mb was comparing to the 306 GTI-6, but if I was to get one it'd be a MK3, more than likely the 16v or VR6. Even then it'd have to be spot on and have every option ticked for me to be tempted. I can see me ending up with my dad's Fabia vRS more than anything though, I think one of the main reasons why he still has it is because I like it so much and he keeps asking when I'm going to buy it off him. I think it'll need a new clutch soon though and I don't want to pay for that :p
  10. Lol, I completely forgot about the Beta. Oh well.
  11. To begin with I was a bit apprehensive about getting it after reading it had no support for the G25, but then I remembered I used to spend hours on the original Driver using a keyboard so it couldn't be that difficult to play using a keyboard. Turns out it isn't difficult and I was pretty silly even being apprehensive about it.
  12. I decided to completely re-do my commuting video. This time it's sunny and it's the whole commute, minus the very start and very end, so people don't know exactly where I live and work.
  13. My main reason behind getting a GTI-6 is to super-charge one, whether that'll ever happen or not is another thing :p Doesn't look as fast as it used to, I like the sound though.
  14. I know, I just don't have the time to bother with it in the week, if I remember about it this weekend I'll see what I can do :p It's only an HDI Dturbo, but it is my first car. Kind of want a GTI-6 next, once insurance prices have gone down, or a Golf GTI.
  15. Woot, Peugeots! See signature, or this: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/t1.jpg That image and my signature probably look a little different (besides GTAMADDOG in the bottom right). There was the bottom of a lamp post in the top right but I edited that out. Probably didn't do it exactly the same in both images :p Edit: No they don't look the same, and I wish my front bumper was lined up properly :( I'll have to have a go at fixing that one day soon.
  16. This is my only real issue with it. I was a bit hesitant at buying it on release day but I'm glad I did in the end. Just haven't had much chance to play it yet, I'm still on Chapter 2 or 3, can't remember which. Seen two of these now: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/2011-10-03_00003.jpg and also my first one of these: http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/2011-10-03_00005.jpg
  17. Here's a really boring video of half of my commute to work, obviously sped up (3x), I don't condone speeding. I'm doing the other half tomorrow if I can remember how to use the keychain camera, seriously, who would've thought operating a camera with two buttons would be so difficult :p https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYVyVP8hD3w Uploaded because a thread on some other forums I frequent asked for videos of people's commutes to work.
  18. '96 Golf GTI 8v Instrument Cluster by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr My step-dad's Golf GTI 8v (Used to be my mums car), still racking up the miles and still soldiering on. To be honest I'd be disappointed if it didn't do well over 200,000. I used to absolutely love that car, I know it's only an 8v but it's pretty much fully loaded besides leather. Sunroof, passenger air-bag, air-conditioning, VR6 brakes (I've yet to see one with the same specifications) and most importantly it's the only ever white 5 door MK3 GTI I've seen. Shame it's been on a downwards slope since my mum handed it over.
  19. Almost ended up under the back of an articulated lorry earlier. On my way home, got to the one roundabout I hate most because two lanes split into three. One lane goes left only, the middle one (which I use) goes straight over and the right lane goes to the right. I hate this roundabout because everybody tends to fly down the right-hand lane (which is the incorrect lane to be in to go straight over, the left lane splits into two) and then cut in at the last second to miss being in a queue of 5-10 cars which only takes a minute to clear usually anyway. So I sit in the left hand lane as you should, keeping (I admit) too close to the car infront to stop people cutting infront usually. Today there was an articulated lorry infront of me wanting to turn left and I was going into the middle lane as always. Lorry follows his lane around to the left and I try to stay close and then try to go into my middle lane. Unfortunately at this time I realise I've misjudged how much the trailer on the lorry is going to swing out and I'm still right up his bumper and itching to go. Seeing the rear of the truck swing out and pass my front bumper by millimeters I realise I can't stop quickly because some idiot like me is right up my rear end so I decide the only thing I can do to avoid the lorry and me colliding is to swerve into the right lane to get around him. The last time I checked my wing mirror to see if anything was coming down the right lane there was a nice big gap there so I don't even look and just pull out. Only once I've started pulling back into the middle lane do I notice in my mirror that someone had come out of no-where and was right up my back side and not looking too pleased. I really couldn't have been any more lucky I don't think. I was that close to being struck by the back of the lorry that life went into slow motion for a few seconds. Couldn't have been much closer if we'd tried. Lesson learnt.
  20. Seen and driven the McLaren MP-12C a few times, same with the E-Type. Seen the Wrangler and Murci SV a couple of times but I was in a mission and doing well so I didn't want to Shift to one of them at the time. Also only seem to see the Audi RS6 during races.
  21. I'm enjoying it too, I actually really like the Shift feature, not many people seem too pleased about it from what I've read. I've not really gone too much into the story line yet, I've been busy finding rare cars to Shift into :p
  22. Hot day. Used it to my advantage to prepared my car for Winter. Hoovered it and polished it inside, infact that reminds me I need clean the seats up a bit with fabric cleaner yet. Normal wash outside, followed by waxing, polishing the top half of the car, removing tar and insects properly, restored the black trim and removed a couple of little scratches. Still need to polish the bottom half, clean the windows inside and out + other glass, clean the door shuts and some things under the bonnet and clean the seats up a bit. Still, it's only 2PM and it's a nice day. Might as well make the most of it so I only have to give the car a quick wash every so often over the Winter.
  23. Not really of any photographic merit but I just caught this little fella running across the floor: Hai Tharr by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Promptly dealt with.
  24. Just bought this on Steam. Hoping I can get my PS3 controller to work with my computer otherwise I won't be too happy. Only some steering wheels supported :/
