Something's amiss with this game. I did the Gran Turismo Rally stuff in Special Events yesterday and finished them off this morning. The snow event under the highest difficulty GT Rally was stupidly easy, seriously I swear they must've put the wrong events in certain places. I beat the AI easy, the courses were easy as well. SS1 I beat the second place time by 30 seconds, and then carried on increasing my lead over them more and more with every stage. I think I end up beating the second place time by just under three minutes by the end of the event and I wasn't even giving it the full beans. Bah, easy money again. Level 21 A-Spec now.

:/ I had the likes of M5s and other RS6s in the race I did but never mind :p

I'll keep an eye on this thread because I've pretty much got a car for every event (Up to Professional level) and quite a lot of them are tuned as well to make winning that bit easier if anyone ever needs a car :)

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who found the AMG Advanced Special Event stupidly easy? Because it was for me, I barely even tried and I got Gold on all four sectors and then completely blitzed the Gold time on the full lap of the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Ah well, easy money. Oh and the German car race on the Expert series was easy, mainly due to my RS6. Shot past most of the AI before I even crossed the start line at the start of the race and I never saw any of them again :p

Finished off the Beginners Series today, almost finished the Amatuer Series too, I just need to do one race on the Classic Supercars championship or whatever it is. I was waiting for a Countach but then got fed up of waiting for one to appear and saw a Jenson Interceptor in the Used Cars section and bought that instead. Then I upgraded it as I knew it wouldn't be quick enough. It has almost 600BHP now :p

The Limited Edition Twix looks to me as if it has a darker coloured biscuit layer, e.g. chocolate flavoured biscuit. Oh, and possibly chocolate flavoured caramel.

Didn't think AI cars got tuned. Even if they did, not by that much anyway. I was pulling away from everything else though, such as a Zonda, a McLaren F1, etc. I know some of them cheat but almost doubling power is taking the pee.

Someone explain to me how an Audi R8 (which I can only assume was the V10 version) was pulling away (with ease) from my near as makes no difference 1000BHP Audi RS6 which has had a stage 1 weight reduction, fully customisable gearbox and suspension kit among other things. This game continues to infuriate me sometimes.

Got the Sebastien Loeb Championship thing in the Special Events done today. Once I turned the Traction Control off it was stupidly easy. Also did the last Karting championship as well, I ended up going from 200,000 credits to over 700,000 just for doing five easy races. Traction Control, what a load of absolute crap, especially in rallying. Oh look, I'm trying to power out of a hair-pin corner and you're going to limit my turbo boost and power as a whole so I hardly move at all for ten seconds. Then again, it's not just in the rallying, it's in the tarmac races as well and it does the same and if it does ever magically turn itself on it's only usually set to five yet it seems to be the most intrusive thing ever conceived. Oh and the Veyron appeared in the Used Car list today, I couldn't buy it though as I only had 198,000 credits at the time and it cost 2,000,000..

Are we ever going to set a date and time for all of us to be on a server? Kind of difficult with the range of locations in which people are based I know, but I would've thought it would have been done by now.

I've probably spent as many hours on multiplayer as I have in singleplayer at the moment. I was on a server I created yesterday for four hours before it finally clicked I'd probably spent too much time on there. All I'd done for four hours was drift a few cars around Tsubuka endlessly. The server was full of people just drifting around at one point, I even got complimented by someone who was spectating me who said I was a good drifter. I'd personally say what I was doing was power-sliding but still :p

Aye, the M3 shots and the first two R8 shots are good, but the rest of them are a bit dark.

Not hard at all, just annoying. I got Gold in most of them with Silver in the rest too. It just took me some retries on some of them to see what I could get away with in terms of out braking people. This disqualifcation malarky doesn't suit my driving style at all and neither does it seem fair that I get punnished when it's the AI that caused the contact. It's all done now anyway.

Completed all of the licenses now. Jesus Christ, the Special License took the absolute .... I got a Gold cup in quite a few of them but I almost killed my voice shouting at what is actually my TV. Every test I had to retry numerous times because the AI cars kept turning into the side of my car when I was cutting down the inside of them which resulted in a disqualification. The test that stands out most is the one around Circuit De La Sarthe, it's the version with chicanes in it and I braked late to get past numerous cars on each chicane but every time the last car I was passing turned into the side of mine and got me disqualified. I still got Gold on it in the end. Also went online again and had someone I presume was from somewhere up North because he was using a microphone and arguing with someone that someone wasn't replying to him. Then he had a massive conversation about going out to meet some people but someone didn't want to walk, and also talked about how he has so much snow he can't even find his car any more. Cool story, y0.

Eyekatcher for me. That place looks pretty bad-ass, the lighting adds to the feel of it as well.

Q7s and the like are rubbish on anything besides tarmac. What you need is a good old Land Rover, it's like the snow isn't even there :p Plenty of people still try and go to work though, well they do around here when it's snowed. My dad always tries to go, he just elects the car worth the least money on the day to use in the snow and takes the risk. Sadly it's mine this year as my sister's driving the Golf and the Skoda has rubbish tyres (for use in the snow anyway) and a dead battery and he doesn't let the Alfa out in anything besides sun. Don't think my car did too bad considering it has 4 different ditch-finders on each corner and two are almost on the legal limit tread-wise.

Tried Online today. Nothing special but it works which is all that matters really, I just dossed around in 'Free-Roam'/Drift servers, in the Lexus IS-F mostly. Man, that thing is such a pleasure to powerslide in. I did 40 laps of Tsukuba in it, just powersliding around corners. I don't think alot of the drifters in RX7s and Silvias were expecting a lumbering Lexus to come powersliding around them :p

Mechanical damage, flexible camera angles and free-roam. Do want. In other news, B-Spec races are the most boring thing ever. Seriously, I got my driver up to level 1 and I just about lost the will to live. I know if I leave the room the idiot will either crash or slow down so much that he ends up at the back of the grid again so I have to sit there watching his every move.
