Wow.. I've been waiting for an F1 game to make it to the box for a looong time.. That article is a good read.. an F1 game based on the EGO Engine sounds like it's gonna be an awesome game.. my fingers are crossed..

I'm trying to keep my glass half full. A friend in the UK said she had a couple of TDU updates come through over the weekend but none of them worked. Very strange?? I'm wondering if (as TWM mentioned) they're using GTA as a distraction while they spend quality time on the TDU servers. The updates she was receiving may have been a local test to the UK only.. Who knows.. Diablo if you know anything about how the updates work maybe this means something.. I'm wishing and hoping that they're setting up for the future release of the next TDU and are using the time to properly configure the online components of the future TDU game well in advance. And as a result they would have to keep the servers offline for an extended period of time while they run their internal testing. I really have no idea at all but this i where my mind is going with this.. I'm trying to stay positive but after a week of getting the server down message I would appreciate a bit more info from Atari.. so be it..

Yeah I'm currently suffering withdrawal symptoms. I've started thumbing through my other 360 games to see what I haven't finished playing.. I'm not a big fan of the Grand Theft series and PGR4 is just a play toy. I knew I should have bought Burnout Paradise last week when I had the cash. One upside though.. while it's been offline I've racked up about $20mill and have nearly bought all the cars... small consolation though.

I agree man.. Especially like the Getaway idea.. anything that brings player controlled cop chases back into the decent car game has my full vote.. also like MadMax's idea about creating your own driving room on a server.. I know you can lock to people in the game but creating your own room could allow you to setup a range of driving parameters and invite friends.

Ahhh.. gotya' I never noticed the sub-menu.. Am gonna sort myself a paypal account today.. Also... I love the environment.. If it wasn't for the environment we would'nt have cars and roads to drive them on.. I think.. Uhhhmmmm.. *looks left and right then darts out the room..*

Which ever way you guys decide to go with it I think the idea is a great one.. I was almost going to post a message on Sat night to anyone that wanted to ride over the weekend. I'm wondering if there is some kind of international clock/widget that could be installed on the site so people around the world can convert the times and co-ordinate with each other.

That's so strange because I've been driving that car since the beginning and have never seen any roof cam glitches.. not on any car actually.. and i've racked up nearly 1000miles on the LM.. and plenty more on the other cars. Sometimes I wonder if new code is seeping into an old game via the updates that the game receives occasionally.. It's interesting that the roof cam in you pics is on the drivers side even though the McLarens have a center seating position and the other external cam views are usually in the center of the car.
