Hello there, in the past i had a momo wheel, is one of most original wheels ever made although the crappy paddle shifter ; The feedback force is kinda tricky to setup, if your goal is to drift I recommend to take away all the force feedback in the logitech(make sure you're quit the game first) calibration software thay way you gonna be in full control of the car. Hardcore mode is good for drifters fans out there however it wasn't designed for such a evil purpose.If you grab the momo like grabbing a real wheel you'll break it. Good for You if no more silly challenges are available, is you wanna grow, get into hardcore mode try , I said try no aids, and jump into the track and find the best drivers in the island and see if you are really fast, or crazy fast, or a phenomenon, or just a driver. hey lambo mmm, make sure your ID in gamespy is update or if posible make another user, your problem can also be fix unistalling the game and erasing the registry for tdu and beginning with a fresh copy and Key specially, make sure to back up your progress also search this site for the redial file problem u might have it.

Knonissegs are hard to drive but specially the new one from the pack, tuned 3 spoils handling, acceleration, braking points, that's why too many people used traction control but of course they deny such behavior, competing in a closed lobby with aids off is the only way to see if somebody is real organic racer or a cheater, cheers!!

google the redial file issue, you might have it, is plenty info in this site about it, is not a virus is only a corruption in one user profile, is very easy to fix the aproach is different in xp and vista so do some homework. keep me posted.

the way i would handle that little issue , mmm find the partial folder of tdu in the hardrive or harddrives if more, erase, delete , kill it, and then find any entry keys in the registry, you go there by accesing the Run menu and type regedit comand, is very dangerous situation not to mess it, find the software key folder and get the tdu folder,right click and delete it, before reinstall the game, find any issue with your mobo (motherboard) maker get the latest patches for it, I can see you have a MSI board very solid usually, but sometimes they got some bugs, and reinstall and patch it, do not interrupt the installation process specially if having weak processors, if that fails, re install the operating system, tdu is worth the headache, back up any important files, like sound, ethernet, . good luck.

A original copy of megapack shouldnt work that crazy, mmm reinstall the game and everything, and see if fixes it.

try to delete tdu in registry so begin with new key again, the way you talk about messing with mods and stuff i can see u talk the talk and walk the walk, try to restart the game without it,and should work with the usually patches.and then mod again.

thats my department, but be more specific, are you driving on arcade mode or hardcore mode because arcade is to sensitive , hardcore is less predictable like a real car and less forgiven, in either case try to set up the Linearity bar in driving options.

without the key for megapack offline is the only option, get the key this time write it down is some bulletproof safe this game is worth it.

keep the xbox controller for nfs drift crap and get a wheel ---logitech the best option-- the most stable drivers and have fun for the best racing game online of all times.

well it requires a little skill to make that old folder to work specially if its very advanced with tons of money(i have a billion dollars and sometimes give me a little headaches too) and a lot of mp3 into the radios stations, the bling bling mode and so on, then make sure You use the same username, make sure dont having 2 test drive unlimited folders one inside the other, use copy and paste whatever folder necessary, do not mess the original folder make a back up in a secure location better outside your pc, it should work, always . good luck let me know if helped.

laptops suffers from whimps video cards chips, if barely runs the game that some builders used to benchmark(to prove u how demanding the game is) some of the fastest processor of the day (2006-2008) and video cards, the most advisable tip is to turn down the resolution and not run the game with High Defition mode, uncheck if any HD in video options, and run the game in the default settings that is usually 1024*720 is going to improve dramatically your frames per second (FPS) or try the lowest resolution posible, although it gonna look more crappy , but tweak your system and find the best balance, also buying more memory ram is always a good tip, lap tops usually comes from the factory with enough ram to move the operating system. good luck.

Try to rename the folder in which your user resides, however the new name might not work because it will try to find the gamespy server from it was created and that will create a conflict, I tried once didnt work. good luck, good question though. Let me know if You made it work.

tweaking is good if having a very basic PC to unload some of the visual kicking ass graphics the makers designed it to run with.

You need to get hardcore mode that is achieve at 5000 miles, with no traction control, and be very gentle with the gas pedal, that's the only way. I dont know whats the big deal on drifting cause Drifters are easy prey I have to admit.

the tdu servers been weird lately but , try to read all you can about the radial.file problem that make crashes; xp and vista differs a little the way to find the folders, to make a clean installation , uninstall the game, if posible delete also the entry in the registry, to input the key again, to be recongnize by gamespy more easy, should work. Make more users in gamespy can help also when one user is not recongnize. good luck newbie.

the most difficult car to drive is the ME crysler prototype, with seven speeds, requires full concentration and control the throlle all the times; I play hardcore mode with no aid whatsoever and driving that car is like driving on ice, is very difficult to find the limit , is a nightmare specially taking a set under presure on the track.

download game maybe requires different patch not sure about that, but it should work fine with your original key, make sure you have a dvd burner to make a copy in case your system crash, In my case i have two back ups of my megapack , the original dvd copy I'm sure you can find it in Amazon.com very cheap, about the version make sure is the European version if you live other there.

It would be helpful to Know the specs of your steering wheel, maker, drivers, etc. So far logitech got the most stable drivers on the market. Not the so hype g25 necessarily.
