Turn it down anyway and come back to us with the result. 24x really isn't necessary to be honest. Has anything else changed on the PC other than new GFX drivers? EDIT: Has the performance changed noticeably on any other game?

Lol, I didn't even see that in the original post. That'd be why you're having trouble, and trust me, you'll notice no difference if you set it back to 8x or even 4x.

I was only able to do it 'cause I kept all my old drivers in my download folder incase I had a problem. So I dunno, lol, try googling it. Edit: Just did myself and there's links to a few old drivers, like 9.1 etc. You sure you downloaded the right drivers for your card/PC? Are there 32-bit and 64-bit versions?

Don't know what to suggest, other than reverting to the last drivers. I remember downloading new drivers for my nvidia card but they messed up GTA IV so badly it was unplayable, had to revert to the previous drivers until they released new ones that patched the problem.

Awesome, I used to mess around with GameMaker when I was younger, didn't realise it was still going, must've made 20-30 games, will have to see if I have a copy of them anywhere. Back on topic, awesome game ;)

The main point of what I said wasn't to nag about the jokes, I honestly don't mind as long you keep 'em off here, judging by peoples reactions to them. Admittedly he drew all the wrong kind of attention to himself, but the guy's dead now, give him a break.

Although I never really listened to alot of his music and in general regarded him as a bit of an odd bloke, you can't deny that his contribution to music won't be missed. Although it's always sad when someone dies I fail to understand why his death is so much more important than the thousands of people who die everyday due to illness. It annoys me that people value his life over the lives of 'ordinary' people. I know he was famous but that surely makes no difference, in the end, he was a human being like anyone else. I guess that's way the world is going these days, right? As for all the jokes, it's just downright imature to be honest. It wouldn't be funny if I made jokes everytime someone I knew died. To be honest i wouldnt believe that. I use SpeedFan aswell, it thinks my overall PC temp is around 99C ingame, yet all the others are below 30C. At that temperate something would be on fire and/or melting, lol. I cleaned my PC out and tidied the wires before i used the software aswell. Also, taking the side of the case off disrupts the airflow so overall doesent really help.
